Gilbert was outrighted to Triple-A Reno on Monday and elected free agency, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Gilbert failed to see much action in Arizona during the 2023 campaign, accruing a 5.19 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with 19 punchouts across 17.1 innings. He'll test his luck elsewhere after refusing a minor-league assignment.

Adams (ankle) was outrighted to Triple-A Reno and elected free agency Monday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Adams ended the campaign on the 60-day injured list due to a fractured right ankle, and he'll now test the waters in free agency. He struggled over 24 appearances with the Diamondbacks in 2023, posting a 5.71 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with a 22:8 K:BB across 17.1 innings.

The Rays selected Rodriguez's contract from Triple-A Durham on Monday.

Rodriguez, whom the Rays acquired from the Cubs on Aug. 1, excelled down the stretch for Triple-A Durham, pitching to a 3.06 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 24:8 K:BB in 17.2 innings over the final two months of the season. Now a member of the Rays' 40-man roster, the 27-year-old right-hander will look to secure a spot in the big club's Opening Day bullpen. Rodriguez previously made 34 relief appearances with the Cubs between the 2021 and 2022 seasons, logging a 4.88 ERA and 1.56 WHIP across 31.1 frames.

Hernandez elected to become a free agent Monday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

The Mets attempted to outright Hernandez to their Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse, but the pitcher has refused the assignment and will instead test out free agency. He ended the season on the injured list with a pectoral injury and it's not clear what his current health situation is.

Reyes elected to become a free agent Monday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

He's exercised his right to test out free agency rather than accepting the Mets' outright assignment. Reyes posted a 7.78 ERA over 19.2 major-league innings in 2023.

He'll head to free agency rather than accept an outright assignment by the Mets. Curtiss had arthroscopic elbow surgery in August and it's not clear when he might be ready to pitch in games again.

Atlanta declined Yates' $5.75 million option for 2024 on Monday.

The move comes as somewhat of a surprise, as Yates posted a 3.28 ERA and 80:37 K:BB over 60.1 frames for Atlanta this past season. He will turn 37 in March and his control has regressed, but Yates' bat-missing ability should draw plenty of interest on the free-agent market from clubs in need of a late-inning relief arm.

Atlanta declined McHugh's (shoulder) $6 million option for 2024.

The club will pay him a $1 million buyout instead. McHugh had some uncharacteristic struggles in 2023, holding a 4.30 ERA and 47:22 K:BB over 58.2 innings. He also ended the season on the injured list with a shoulder issue. Still, with a 2.09 ERA and 149:26 K:BB over 133.1 frames from 2021-22, McHugh should have plenty of suitors.

The Blue Jays selected White's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.

White lost his spot on the Jays' 40-man roster back in August, but they've now added him back on. The 28-year-old swingman struggled mightily at the big-league level in 2023, posting a 7.11 ERA over 10 appearances.

De Los Santos cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday.

De Los Santos has lost his spot as the Pirates do some 40-man roster maneuvering, but he'll remain in the organization. The 25-year-old holds a career 4.14 ERA and 44:24 K:BB over 50 relief innings at the big-league level.
