Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that a return from the 60-day injured list is "still in play" for Hudson this season, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

While Roberts isn't discounting the possibility of the right-hander pitching out of the bullpen in September, Hudson has yet to resume facing hitters since landing on the IL on July 6 with a sprained MCL in his right knee. Even if he's able to ramp up quickly, Hudson is likely still multiple weeks away from being activated and will probably require multiple appearances in the minors to hone his command after the lengthy layoff from game action.

Kelly (ankle) is on track to return when first eligible on Friday, MLB.com reports.

Kelly was shut down for a week after spraining his left ankle, but he threw a live batting practice session last Tuesday and another one Sunday with no issues. He'll rejoin the Rays this weekend and projects to be activated when rosters expand Friday.

Gott (0-1) blew the save and took the loss Monday against Texas. He allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out three over one inning.

Tasked with protecting a one-run lead in the ninth due to Adam Ottavino having pitched the prior two days, Gott immediately found himself in trouble after surrendering a pair of hits to open the frame. The right-hander would manage to strike out Leody Taveras and Marcus Semien before Nathaniel Lowe drove in two runs with a two-out single. Gott's now given up six runs over his last 1.2 innings, raising his ERA to 4.82 with a 1.52 WHIP and 53:15 K:BB across 46.2 innings between the Mets and Mariners this season. While New York's lack of bullpen options could keep Gott in a high-leverage role, fantasy managers would be best served looking for saves elsewhere.

Ferguson struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Monday's 7-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Ferguson got the call for the save with Evan Phillips presumably unavailable after pitching three of the previous four days. Ferguson got the job done on a tidy nine pitches (eight strikes) for his seventh scoreless outing in his last eight appearances. The southpaw is at a 2.70 ERA despite a 1.42 WHIP and 55:21 K:BB through 50 innings this season and he's collected three saves, 15 holds and four blown saves to go with a 7-3 record. Ferguson should continue to serve more frequently as a setup option.

Doval pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in Monday's 4-1 win over the Reds.

Doval has pitched perfect innings on consecutive days to earn saves, bouncing back from a stretch of four straight blown saves over the middle of the month. The right-hander is now 35-for-42 in save chances this year. Closers with poorer results than Doval might have lost their gigs, but manager Gabe Kapler stuck by the hard-throwing reliever, who has a 2.98 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 77:24 K:BB through 57.1 innings this season.

Kimbrel picked up the save in Monday's 6-4 win over the Angels with a perfect ninth inning.

Kimbrel made quick work of the Angels on Monday, getting the final three outs on just seven pitches to shut the door on a 6-4 Philadelphia victory. After a few days off following a poor appearance Aug. 23, the veteran closer has converted save opportunities on back-to-back days. Kimbrel is now 7-for-9 in save chances since the All-Star break with a 2.84 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 17:7 K:BB across 19 second-half innings.

Hicks picked up the save Monday against Washington. He allowed one walk in a scoreless inning.

After Jordan Romano threw 36 pitches in Sunday's extra-inning loss, the Blue Jays turned to Hicks in the ninth inning Monday. He worked around a two-out walk to close out a 6-3 win, earning his fourth save with Toronto and his 12th of the year. Hicks had been somewhat shaky since returning to a setup role behind Romano, allowing three runs and two homers in his prior 5.2 innings. Overall, he sports a 3.74 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 69:27 K:BB across 53 innings this season.

Leclerc picked up the save in Monday's 4-3 win over the Mets. He walked one while striking out two over a scoreless inning.

With Will Smith and Aroldis Chapman each having pitched Sunday, Leclerc was called upon to pitch the ninth Monday with a one-run lead. The 29-year-old right-hander worked around a two-out walk to earn his second save of the year, his first since April 5. Leclerc has been a steady presence in the Rangers' bullpen of late, delivering eight consecutive scoreless appearances (8.2 innings) while earning more high-leverage opportunities. His ERA is down to 2.51 with a 1.12 WHIP and 47:21 K:BB across 43 innings this season.

Hader allowed a hit in a scoreless frame while earning a save over the Cardinals on Monday. He struck out two batters.

Hader picked up his first save since Aug. 16 with another strong performance. He's now gone 23.1 straight innings without allowing an earned run dating back to the start of June. He lowered his season ERA to 0.79 with a 73:24 K:BB through 45.2 frames.

Curry (3-3) allowed six runs on six hits and a walk over two innings Monday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Twins.

Curry gave up all six runs during a brutal second inning highlighted by Royce Lewis' grand slam. Over his last four appearances, Curry has been tagged with 15 runs in 15 innings, driving his season ERA to 4.10 through 79 frames. He's lost three consecutive decisions and hasn't earned a win since June 9. Curry is currently projected to face the Rays at home this weekend.
