The Mets optioned Curtiss to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday, aa reports.

Curtiss was recalled earlier in the week and made a couple appearances out of the Mets' bullpen during his latest stint with the big club. He was the first of six relievers used behind David Peterson on Friday -- reinforcements were needed after the group effort. Starter Tylor Megill and righty reliever Jimmy Yacabonis were added in a series of moves.

Bachman (shoulder) was transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day injured list early in the week, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Bachman was diagnosed with right shoulder inflammation in mid-July and was subsequently placed on the 15-day IL. Per MLB.com, the rookie right-hander had not yet resumed throwing at the time he was moved to the 60-day IL on Aug. 1. Bachman will now be out of action until at least mid-September.

The Mets selected Yacabonis' contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

Yacabonis will provide the big club with a fresh arm after the bullpen was taxed for six innings behind David Peterson on Friday. Considering Yacabonis has a 6.24 career ERA and a 9.00 ERA in nine innings in the majors this season, it's unlikely we'll see him in any important spots.

The Brewers recalled Andrews from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

Andrews will return for a second stint with the Brewers, though it could be just a one-day stay, as the team will need to open a roster spot for Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) on Sunday. The lefty Andrews made a pair of appearances the last time around, allowing five runs on five hits over 1.2 innings. He's pitched to a 2.63 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 35 appearances with Nashville this season.

The White Sox selected Ramsey's contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

Ramsey has a 5.50 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and 48:27 K:BB across 36 innings at Charlotte this season and will now receive his first taste of the big leagues. The 27-year-old should fill a low-leverage bullpen role while up with the White Sox.

Santos was placed on the bereavement list Saturday.

Santos appears to have taken over as Chicago's closer, but he'll step away from the team for 3-to-7 days for personal reasons. Aaron Bummer is likely the top option for saves until Santos rejoins the White Sox.

Honeywell was claimed off waivers by the White Sox on Saturday.

Honeywell was recently designated for assignment by San Diego and will now make his way to Chicago. The 28-year-old had a 3.20 ERA in his first 29 outings for the Padres this season, but he lost his place on the 40-man roster after he gave up seven earned runs across his last seven outings.

Scott was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday.

Scott was claimed off waivers by Oakland shortly after the All-Star break and gave up three earned runs over 5.1 frames during his time with the big club. The right-hander could rejoin the A's later on when they need bullpen depth.

Jimenez (shoulder) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Jimenez has been sidelined since mid-April but will rejoin the active roster after a five-game rehab assignment, during which he surrendered 10 runs across 4.1 innings. The 29-year-old could work his way into a high-leverage bullpen role but may be eased in with lower-leverage situations early on.

Chargois was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to a strained right rib cage, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The right-hander presumably suffered the injury during his last appearance Wednesday against the Phillies when he fired two scoreless frames. Chargois will be eligible to be reinstated Aug. 19, though it's unclear if he's expected to be healthy by that point.
