Rolison (undisclosed) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.

Rolison has been on the injured list in Triple-A since June 4 and now finds himself on the 60-day IL for the second time this season. The move will keep him out of action in the minors through the beginning of August and opens a 40-man spot for Tommy Doyle, who was selected from Albuquerque on Friday.

Bachman was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with right shoulder inflammation.

Bachman had given up five earned runs while allowing 11 hits and three walks over his last five innings (four appearances). Matt Moore was reinstated in a corresponding move.

Criswell will be recalled from Triple-A Durham to serve as the starter or bulk reliever in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

With Friday's game getting postponed and the Rays not having any off days until July 24, they'll need to patch something together as part of Saturday's doubleheader. Criswell has a 5.14 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 22 strikeouts in 21 innings across six MLB appearances this season.

The Rockies selected Doyle's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Doyle has been outstanding this season in Triple-A, especially considering his hitter-friendly home ballpark -- he's put up a 1.01 ERA and 1.03 WHIP while striking out 29 batters through 26.2 innings. The 27-year-old righty will bolster Colorado's bullpen and likely serve in middle relief.

Miller (neck) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

This move enables the Dodgers to add Jake Marisnick to the 40-man roster. Miller is out indefinitely with an unspecified neck issue and wasn't close to rejoining the bullpen, so this likely doesn't affect his timeline for a return.

Tate was shut down from throwing Friday after receiving a second opinion on his forearm, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Tate has been on the shelf all season with a right forearm strain, and his time on the injured list doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon. The 29-year-old righty has already embarked on two separate rehab assignments this season, and there's no telling when he'll begin his third.

Romano will throw off a mound before Friday's game against the Diamondbacks to test out his back, and it sounds like a day-to-day injury, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

If Romano, who experienced lower-back tightness during the All-Star game, needs an extra day, the Jays have a fresh bullpen, so they would likely opt to go that route if he isn't 100 percent. Matheson said the team doesn't sound worried. Erik Swanson seems like the most likely pitcher to get the save Friday if Romano ends up being unavailable.

Voth (elbow) has been throwing side sessions at the Orioles' complex in Florida, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

If all goes according to plan, Voth will begin working in game situations sometime next week. There's still no telling how long it will be before Voth returns to Baltimore's bullpen, but he seems to be at least a few weeks out. The 31-year-old righty has been on the injured list since June 14 with right elbow discomfort.

Akin (back) played catch Friday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Friday marks the first time Akin has thrown since landing on the injured list June 30 with lower back discomfort. There's no clear timeline for his return, though he could make it back before the end of July.

Perez (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Bowie on Saturday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

It's unclear whether Perez will move to Triple-A Norfolk after pitching for Bowie, but the 27-year-old lefty seems to be trending toward a quick return either way. Perez landed on the injured list July 4 with left forearm soreness, and there was never a high level of concern surrounding his injury. He's eligible to return Tuesday.
