Kendall Graveman RP | ARI
White Sox's Kendall Graveman: Picks up sixth save
Graveman earned the save Sunday against Detroit, allowing a run on two hits while striking out one in the ninth inning in a 5-3 win.
Liam Hendriks converted saves on Friday and Saturday, so Graveman was given the opportunity to close Sunday. Harold Castro launched a solo homer with one out, but Graveman was able to get the final two outs and preserve the victory for Chicago. It was his first save since July 2. The 31-year-old has been a bit shaky since the All-Star break, allowing five runs in nine innings while walking six batters.

Kenley Jansen RP | DET
Braves' Kenley Jansen: Locks down save
Jansen allowed a hit and struck out one during a scoreless inning and earned a save over Miami on Sunday.
Jansen fired three shutout frames and earned three saves during the four-game set against the Marlins. He's now converted 27 of his 31 chances on the year while registering a 3.25 ERA through 44.1 frames. The veteran righty has secured seven saves while posting a 2.31 ERA since his last blown save June 26.

Tyler Alexander RP | TEX
Tigers' Tyler Alexander: Allows nine baserunners in loss
Alexander (2-7) took the loss Sunday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two in five innings.
Alexander navigated the first four innings fairly well, pitching around trouble other than allowing a solo homer to AJ Pollock in the third. In the fifth, two doubles and a single led to two more runs. Since returning to the rotation at the end of July, he is 0-4 with a 3.86 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB in 21 innings across four starts. His next start will likely be next weekend against the Angels.

Jason Adam RP | SD
Rays' Jason Adam: Earns sixth save
Adam picked up the save Sunday against Baltimore, striking out the only two batters he faced in a 4-1 victory.
Adam came on in the ninth inning with one out and one on and needed only eight pitches to strike out both Cedric Mullins and Adley Rutschman. It was his sixth save this season and second this month. The 31-year-old has not allowed a run in his last eight outings, giving up one hit and a walk while striking out eight in 8.1 innings in that span. He'll continue to get occasional save chances, but those opportunities will likely remain unpredictable as the Rays continue to employ a closer committee.

Brent Honeywell RP | LAD
Athletics' Brent Honeywell: Clear for rehab assignment
Honeywell (elbow) will report to Single-A Stockton on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Honeywell suffered a stress reaction in the back of his right elbow during spring training and has yet to see game action this season, but he's now been cleared to pitch in the minors. Given the long layoff, the 27-year-old isn't expected to have enough time to build up to a starting workload, but he could still contribute out of the bullpen for the A's.

Matt Strahm RP | KC
Red Sox's Matt Strahm: Heading on rehab assignment
Strahm (wrist) threw about 30 pitches in live batting practice Sunday and will begin a minor-league rehab assignment this week, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
The veteran left-hander landed on the shelf in mid-July with a bruised left wrist after being struck by a line drive, and he's now been cleared for a rehab assignment. Strahm could rejoin the Red Sox by the end of the week if all goes well in the minors.

Dakota Hudson SP | LAA
Cardinals' Dakota Hudson: Won't start Wednesday
The Cardinals will skip Hudson's scheduled turn through the rotation Wednesday against the Rockies, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.
St. Louis has a scheduled day off Monday and has decided to adjust the rotation. Hudson missed a couple weeks in July with a neck strain and has a 4.73 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB across 13.1 innings since returning from the injured list. The Cardinals will require a fifth starter next weekend in Arizona, and it remains to be seen if Hudson is called upon at that point.

Ken Giles RP | ATL
Ken Giles: Elects free agency
Giles cleared waivers and elected free agency Sunday.
Giles was cast off the Mariners' 40-man roster Friday and will choose to test free agency rather than accepting an outright assignment. The right-hander made five relief appearances for Seattle earlier in the year and struck out six in 4.1 scoreless innings.

Riley Pint RP | COL
Rockies' Riley Pint: Promoted to Triple-A
Pint was promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque on Aug. 10.
Pint has quietly had an impressive season after returning from a brief retirement. He's pitched exclusively out of the bullpen but maintained a 29.6 percent strikeout rate and 53.8 percent groundball rate across 42.2 innings with Double-A Hartford. Pint has walked far too many batters -- he had a walk rate of 15.6 percent in the same span -- but if he can find his control, he could resurrect his career as a high-leverage reliever.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Picks up another start
Norris is listed as the Tigers' scheduled starting pitcher for Wednesday's game in Cleveland.
Norris will be making his second straight turn through the Tigers rotation following his call-up from Triple-A Toledo last week. In his first start of 2022 with the Tigers, the southpaw struck out one over 4.2 scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Friday.
