  • Dodgers' J.P. Feyereisen: Returns to Los Angeles

The Dodgers recalled Feyereisen from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

With Roki Sasaki (shoulder) headed to the injured list, the Dodgers will call upon Feyereisen to add some extra depth to their bullpen. The 32-year-old righty has allowed four runs (two earned) in two-plus MLB innings this season and will likely be reserved for low-leverage situations while in Los Angeles.

  • Ryan Burr RP | TOR

Blue Jays' Ryan Burr: Moving rehab to Triple-A

Burr (shoulder) will shift his rehab assignment to Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

Burr is progressing in his recovery from right shoulder inflammation, which caused him to start the season on the injured list. He struck out five batters across 2.2 scoreless innings with the Blue Jays' Florida Complex League affiliate last week, and he's ready to take the next step in his throwing program by working out of Buffalo's bullpen. Burr appeared in 34 games (four starts) for the Blue Jays in 2024, posting a 4.13 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 47:12 K:BB across 32.2 innings.

  • Erik Swanson RP | TOR

Blue Jays' Erik Swanson: Moving rehab to Triple-A

Swanson (forearm) will pitch for Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

Swanson started the season on the injured list due to carpal tunnel syndrome in his right forearm. He was cleared to embark on a rehab assignment with the Blue Jays' Florida Complex League affiliate Friday, and while he gave up four runs (two earned) on 16 pitches without recording an out in his lone outing, he's been cleared to transfer his rehab assignment to Triple-A. Swanson could be activated from the 60-day IL when first eligible in late May, barring any setbacks.

  • Ryan Pressly RP | CHC

Cubs' Ryan Pressly: Bypassed in save opportunity

Pressly was not used in a save situation Monday, as Drew Pomeranz instead closed out the 5-2 win over the Marlins.

Pressly last pitched Friday, so fatigue shouldn't have been an issue. It appears the Cubs are ready to try other options at the end of games due to Pressly's struggles. The veteran righty has a 7.07 ERA and 1.93 WHIP, and he's only struck out six batters across 14 innings. Porter Hodge seemed like the most likely ninth-inning alternative coming into the year, but he's also struggled with a 5.71 ERA of his own. The Chicago bullpen is in flux at the moment, and while Pressly could re-emerge as the closer at some point, his fantasy stock is trending down for now.

  • Sam Bachman RP | LAA

Angels' Sam Bachman: Shifting rehab to Triple-A

The Angels transferred Bachman's (shoulder) rehab assignment to Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.

Bachman continues to progress in his recovery from thoracic outlet syndrome, an issue that caused him to start the season on the 15-day injured list. He's tossed two innings across two rehab outings with Single-A Inland Empire and is getting closer to returning to the majors. Bachman appeared in 11 games for the Angels in 2023 and posted a 3.18 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 14:11 K:BB across 17 innings.

  • Elvis Alvarado RP | ATH

Athletics' Elvis Alvarado: Demoted to Las Vegas

The Athletics optioned Alvarado to Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Alvarado made two appearances during his four-day stint in the majors, giving up three earned runs and striking out four batters over 2.2 innings. He'll now head back to the minors in favor of Jason Alexander, who was recalled from Las Vegas in a corresponding move. However, if Alvarado maintains something close to his 3.45 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in Triple-A, he will remain a candidate to return to the big club later in the season.

  • Michel Otanez RP | TEX

Athletics' Michel Otanez: Ready to make season debut

The Athletics reinstated Otanez (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday.

Otanez wrapped up his rehab assignment Monday after making six appearances, including five with Triple-A Las Vegas, since April 26. The right-hander is now set up to work in the middle of the Athletics' bullpen after missing the beginning of the season due to the shoulder injury. The Athletics placed T.J. McFarland on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move.

  • Athletics' Jason Alexander: Recalled by Athletics

The Athletics recalled Alexander from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Alexander will return to the big club after T.J. McFarland (adductor) was placed on the 15-day injured list. Alexander has a 1.69 ERA and 1.23 WHIP across 21.1 innings in Triple-A as a starter this season, but he'll likely operate out of the Athletics' bullpen in McFarland's absence. Alexander made three major-league appearances before being optioned to Triple-A on April 18, allowing four runs (three earned) over 3.2 innings.

  • T.J. McFarland RP | ATH

Athletics' T.J. McFarland: Placed on injured list

The Athletics placed McFarland on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with a left adductor strain, retroactive to Monday.

McFarland was pulled from his appearance against the Yankees on Sunday due to his injury and will now be forced to miss at least another two weeks. He'll be replaced in the Athletics' bullpen by Michel Otanez (shoulder), who was reinstated from the injured list in a corresponding move.

  • Tyson Miller RP | CHW

Cubs' Tyson Miller: Shifted to 60-day injured list

The Cubs transferred Miller (hip) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic reports.

Miller has been out all season with a left hip impingement. He's allowed five runs (four earned) over 8.2 innings on a rehab assignment and will be eligible for activation May 20.
