Lopez (4-5) allowed six runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over 4.2 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Rangers.

Corey Seager led the charge against Lopez with two home runs and three RBI. Lopez has now allowed 16 runs and 25 hits over his last 16 innings, with five of those knocks being homers. He had a 3.89 ERA after his May 9 start versus the Mariners, but it's now at 5.25 with a 1.17 WHIP and 69:10 K:BB through 60 innings across 11 outings this season. Lopez is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Astros.

Garabito allowed a run on two hits and four walks while striking out two over 3.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Sunday.

Garabito threw 49 of 84 pitches for strikes in the contest, which was his major-league debut. The right-hander walked a batter in each inning, but he was able to limit the damage until he gave up a pair of hits to begin the fourth. It's unclear how long Garabito will be in the majors. He may not be needed to stick around if Michael Lorenzen (knee) and Jose Urena (lower leg) are able to make their next scheduled starts, as the Rangers have three off days between this Monday and June 6. Nathan Eovaldi (groin) began mound work May 17 and could also be nearing a return if he doesn't require a rehab assignment.

Wacha (4-5) allowed two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out seven over six-plus innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Rays.

Wacha was perfect through five innings and pitched around two baserunners in the sixth. He then gave up two hits to start the seventh, and John Schreiber allowed both runners plus two more to come around to score. Despite the loss, this was Wacha's fourth straight quality start and his sixth such outing of the season. He's pitched to a 4.31 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB through 62.2 innings over 11 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus his most recent former team, the Padres.

Bradley allowed a hit and three walks while striking out six over five scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Sunday.

Bradley was able to quiet a Royals offense that had scored at least five runs in each of the previous eight games. This was a good bounce-back effort for Bradley after he gave up five runs over seven innings to the Red Sox on Monday. The 23-year-old is now at a 3.13 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB over 23 innings across four starts this season. His next start is projected to be a tough road matchup in Baltimore.

Mize did not factor into the decision Sunday against Toronto, allowing three earned runs on eight hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He did not strike out a batter.

The right-hander started the game with three scoreless innings before allowing a two-run home run to Cavan Biggio in the fourth, marking the fifth consecutive game Mize has surrendered a home run. Over that span, the 27-year-old is 0-3 with a 6.56 ERA and 1.60 WHIP over 23.1 innings. Mize failed to record a strikeout Sunday and has struggled to miss bats all season, registering a paltry 6.16 K/9. Mize will look to bounce back in his next start, tentatively scheduled for next weekend in Boston.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said Sunday that Springs (elbow) will be shut down for a couple of day after the left-hander exited Saturday's rehab start in the rookie-level Florida Complex League, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Cash noted that Springs' removal from Saturday's rehab start was due to a lat issue and "very precautionary." The southpaw was making the second start of his rehab assignment as he continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery, which he underwent April 24, 2023. Assuming his throwing program isn't delayed for too long, Springs could head back out on his rehab assignment within the next week or two, potentially putting him on track for a return from the 60-day injured list at some point in June.

Astros general manager Dana Brown said Sunday that Urquidy (forearm) will be evaluated by team physicians Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Urquidy made his third rehab start Friday with Triple-A Sugar Land but left midwya through the fourth inning with what was labeled as right forearm discomfort. The right-hander has resided on the injured list all season due to the forearm injury, so it's less than ideal that he's dealing with a related setback. The upcoming evaluation should shed more light on the severity of the setback, but in any case, Urquidy wouldn't appear to be on track to be activated from the 15-day IL at any point in the near future.

Stripling will see a doctor Sunday to evaluate his right elbow, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Stripling was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to a strained right elbow, and the severity of the injury will be known following Sunday's meeting. The right-hander has struggled this season, going 1-9 over 11 starts while registering a 5.82 ERA and 1.60 WHIP over 55.2 innings.

Kikuchi escaped Sunday's 14-11 loss to Detroit with a no-decision, yielding five earned runs on eight hits over just three innings. He did not record a walk or strikeout.

Kikuchi got roughed up in this one, surrendering four extra-base hits including a solo home run to Spencer Torkelson. The five earned runs are a season high for Kikuchi, who entered this game on a four-game streak allowing two runs or fewer. The 32-year-old still sports a solid 3.25 ERA after Sunday's outing, but more regression could be coming if his 0.74 HR/9 normalizes to his career average of 1.56. His is tentatively slated for a home start next weekend against the Pirates.

The Rangers selected Garabito's contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday. He'll start Sunday's series finale versus the Twins in Minnesota.

Texas designated right-hander Shaun Anderson for assignment to clear room on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster for the 28-year-old Garabito, who will be making his MLB debut Sunday. The Rangers are expected to treat Sunday's contest as a bullpen day, but Garabito should be capable of providing the team with plenty of length to begin the game after he had been operating as a starter for Round Rock. Over seven appearances (five starts) for the Triple-A club this season, Garabito compiled a 2.05 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 37:10 K:BB in 30.2 innings. Garabito may not be in line for a lengthy stay with the Rangers, as the team could soon get back Nathan Eovaldi (groin) and/or Jon Gray (groin) back from the injured list, and off days Monday and Thursday could allow Texas to get by with a shortened rotation in the meantime.
