Rodriguez (5-0) allowed one run on seven hits and three walks while striking out two in five innings to earn the win against the Orioles on Friday.

Rodriguez was coming off his worst outing of the season in his last start, but he picked up his fifth win in six starts Friday. The southpaw threw 61 of his 91 pitches for strikes and only allowed a run to come across via a one-out single in the bottom of the fifth. Rodriguez has now posted a 3.82 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 33 innings, and he tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Athletics on Wednesday.

Flexen (3-1) allowed four runs on 10 hits and a walk over 6.1 innings Friday, striking out two and earning a win over the Rangers.

The Rangers jumped all over Flexen out of the gate, tagging him for three runs in the first two innings. The last bit of damage against him was a Nate Lowe solo blast in the third before Flexen settled into a groove. Seattle took a 5-4 lead in the top of the seventh to get him the win. The 26-year-old is sporting a 3.78 ERA and 23:6 K:BB through 33.1 frames. Flexen is lined up to face Cleveland at home next week.

Keller (2-4) allowed three runs on five hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the White Sox.

Keller cruised through four scoreless innings before serving up a fifth-inning solo shot to Zack Collins. The White Sox then knocked three hits off him in the sixth to extend the lead to 3-0. Keller still managed to lower his season ERA from 8.06 to 7.31 with a 22:13 K:BB. He is projected to take the mound in Detroit next week.

Rodon (5-0) allowed five hits over six scoreless innings Friday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Royals.

Rodon continued his incredible start to the 2021 campaign by sprinkling five harmless singles across six frames Friday. He's now earned a win in each of his five starts this season and hasn't allowed more than one earned run in any appearance. The 28-year-old southpaw sports a 0.58 ERA and 44:9 K:BB through 31 innings. Rodon is projected to face the Twins at home next week.

Skubal (0-5) took the loss Friday versus Minnesota. He allowed two runs on four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in five innings.

Skubal gave up solo home runs to Kyle Garlick and Jorge Polanco, which accounted for all the runs against the 24-year-old starter. Through 27 innings, Skubal has a 5.67 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 26:16 K:BB in seven appearances. He's now surrendered 10 home runs -- cutting his walk rate and keeping the ball in the yard will be key factors in the southpaw's development this season. Skubal projects to make his next start at home versus Kansas City next week.

Taillon allowed three runs on three hits and a walk while striking out five in 6.1 innings in Friday's loss to the Nationals. He didn't factor into the decision.

Taillon picked up his first win of the season in his last outing, but he allowed three runs on a pair of homers in the top of the second inning Friday. The Yankees tied the game in the bottom of the sixth, and Taillon was forced to settle for a no-decision. The right-hander now has a 5.02 ERA and 34:6 K:BB in 28.2 innings across his first six starts of the season. He tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Stripling (0-2) yielded three runs on six hits and three walks over 3.2 innings Friday, striking out three and taking a loss against Houston.

Stripling was cursed by a second inning in which he allowed a two-run shot to Carlos Correa before walking in a third run. Stripling needed 82 pitches to record only 11 outs and saw his season ERA climb to 6.61. He's failed to finish five innings in three of his four outings on the year. Stripling is currently lined up to take the mound in Atlanta next week.

Urquidy (3-2) allowed two runs on four hits and a walk over seven innings Friday, striking out two and earning a win over the Blue Jays.

Urquidy kept Toronto's bats pretty quiet Friday as the only damage against him was a pair of solo homers by Bo Bichette and Danny Jansen. After starting 0-2 with a 5.14 ERA in his first four starts, the 26-year-old has won three straight starts while allowing four runs over 20 innings. He'll carry a 3.51 ERA and 29:9 K:BB into next week's projected home start against the Angels.

Hancock, the Mariners' first-round pick in the 2020 first-year player draft, fired two scoreless innings during which he issued a walk and recorded three strikeouts in High-A Everett's win over Hillsboro on Thursday.

The 21-year-old spent time with the big-league club in spring training without seeing any game action. Hancock's ability to consistently miss bats helped generate an impressive level of efficiency, as he needed a modest 31 pitches, 20 which found the strike zone, to record six outs in his pro debut. The right-hander could conceivably bump up to Double-A Arkansas in the latter portion of the minor-league season if he continues to develop favorably.

Gonzales (forearm) could advance to mound work as soon as this weekend, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Gonzales has been out for eight days with a forearm strain, which is considered mild. His return date remains unclear, but the Mariners' plans should be clarified once the lefty gets back on the mound.
