Odorizzi (forearm) was scheduled to see a doctor Sunday but details of his examination are not yet known, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

While details remain scarce, Houston general manager James Click said conversations were "fairly optimistic" while speaking on the team's pregame radio show Sunday. He described the injury as a "muscle crap in the pronator muscle." Odorizzi departed his start Saturday after just five pitches and with noticeably reduced velocity. His next turn is scheduled for Thursday, and he is currently listed as "TBA."

Skubal (0-3) allowed two runs on four hits and no walks while striking out three in 2.2 innings to take the loss against the Royals on Sunday.

Skubal pitched in a piggyback role behind Michael Fulmer once again Sunday. He tossed 61 pitches across his 2.2 innings, but he was charged with his third loss of the year since the Tigers' offense failed to record any runs. Skubal has now posted a 5.21 ERA and 1.58 WHIP in 19 innings this season.

McKenzie allowed three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out five in four innings in Sunday's win over the Yankees. He didn't factor into the decision.

McKenzie began Sunday's game with three scoreless innings, but he gave up a pair of home runs in the fourth inning. Cleveland's offense provided plenty of run support late in the contest Sunday, but McKenzie was forced to settle for yet another no-decision. Across his first four appearances this season, McKenzie has posted a 4.32 ERA and 23:14 K:BB in 16.2 innings. He lines up to make his next start on the road against the White Sox on Saturday.

Taillon (0-2) allowed four runs on five hits and no walks while striking out six in four innings to take the loss against Cleveland on Sunday.

Taillon was sharp in his last start and began Sunday's outing by tossing three scoreless frames. However, he allowed three singles with no outs in the bottom of the fourth inning before Franmil Reyes blasted a three-run shot to put Taillon in line for his second loss of 2021. The right-hander has posted a 6.23 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 17.1 innings across his first four starts of the season. Taillon will attempt to bounce back at home against the Tigers on Saturday.

Means (2-0) allowed one run on two hits and three walks while striking out six in 6.1 innings to earn the win against the Athletics on Sunday.

Means' start was pushed from Saturday to Sunday, but he didn't miss a beat as his strong showing to begin the season continued against Oakland. He gave up a solo homer to Ramon Laureano in the fourth inning but got plenty of run support from Baltimore's offense and cruised to his second victory. The southpaw has posted a 1.50 ERA and 0.90 WHIP in 30 innings across his first five starts of the season. Means lines up to make his next start on the road against the Athletics on Friday.

Luzardo (1-2) allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight in 6.2 innings to take the loss against the Orioles on Sunday.

Luzardo picked up his first win of the season in his last outing, but the left-hander allowed Austin Hays to homer in the second and fourth innings Sunday and was charged with the loss as a result. Through his first five starts of the season, Luzardo has posted a 5.40 ERA and 29:10 K:BB in 25 innings. He'll get another chance to face the Orioles at home Friday.

McCullers yielded two runs on three hits and two walks over six innings in Sunday's loss to the Angels. He struck out five and did not factor in the decision.

McCullers missed his last time through the rotation while dealing with side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine but was able to throw 106 pitches Sunday. The 6-foot-1 right-hander threw a fairly clean outing aside from David Fletcher's two-run single in the fifth. He lowered his season ERA to 4.58 with a 21:11 K:BB across 19.2 frames. McCullers will face the Rays at Tropicana Field on Friday.

Arihara (2-2) allowed five runs on six hits and four walks over two innings in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday. He failed to record a strikeout.

Arihara needed 70 pitches (40 strikes) to labor through two innings in his worst of five starts this year. He had pitched 11.1 scoreless innings over his last two outings before Sunday's poor showing. The 28-year-old right-hander has a 4.03 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 13:7 K:BB in 22.1 innings overall. His next start is expected to be Friday versus the Red Sox.

Bundy allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over six innings in Sunday's win over Houston. He struck out six batters and did not factor in the decision.

Bundy allowed just four baserunners through six shutout frames before running into some trouble in the seventh. He hit Yordan Alvarez with a pitch and then served up a game-tying, two-run shot to Yuli Gurriel, spoiling an otherwise terrific outing. The 28-year-old righty lowered his season ERA to 4.20 across 30 innings. Bundy will take the mound in Seattle next Sunday.

Kopech (2-0) allowed one run on four hits and struck out 10 over five innings to earn the win Sunday versus the Rangers.

Kopech wasn't expected to make a long start, but he did enough to be eligible for the win. The White Sox offense took care of the rest, providing plenty of run support. The 24-year-old right-hander has a 1.72 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 27:4 K:BB across 15.2 innings this season. He's made two starts and six total appearances, but Kopech may have to settle for a long-relief role once Lance Lynn (back) returns.
