Bielak will join the Astros for big-league camp this spring, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bielak isn't far from the majors, though he may need a bit more time before he's in serious consideration for a big-league roster spot. In 14 starts and one relief appearance for Triple-A Round Rock last season, he recorded a 4.41 ERA, striking out 24.4 percent of opposing batters while walking 10.2 percent.

Nicasio signed a minor-league deal with the Rangers on Saturday that includes an invitation to spring training, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Nicasio spent 2019 with the Phillies and picked up 10 holds, but his overall numbers were subpar with a 4.75 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 45:21 K:BB across 47.1 innings. The 33-year-old is a strong bet to crack the Opening Day roster with a solid showing in spring training.

Faedo was invited to the Tigers' major-league spring training Thursday.

Faedo dealt with a back injury last season with Double-A Erie, but he still managed to pitch 115.1 innings, recording a 3.90 ERA and 134:25 K:BB during that time. Although Faedo will get to work with the major-league coaching staff during spring training, he'll likely require more time in the minors prior to being considered for a spot with the big-league pitching staff.

Skubal was invited to the Tigers' major-league spring training Thursday.

Skubal has struggled with control in the past, but he managed to become more effective last season with a 179:37 K:BB and a 1.01 WHIP over 122.2 innings in the minors. The southpaw has worked as both a starter and a reliever in the past, but the team could try to develop him as a starter as he gets the chance to work with the major-league coaching staff in spring training.

Mize was invited to the Tigers' major-league spring training Thursday.

Mize reached the Double-A level in 2019, where he posted a 3.20 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP over 78.2 innings before being shut down in August due to workload concerns. The right-hander will try to prove his durability as the season progresses and could join the major-league rotation sometime in 2020.

Manning was invited to the Tigers' major-league spring training Thursday.

Manning was very effective at the Double-A level in 2019, posting a 2.56 ERA with a 0.98 WHIP over 133.2 innings. The right-hander will get to work with the major-league coaching staff in spring training and could end up reaching the majors at some point in 2020.

Springs was traded from the Rangers to the Red Sox on Wednesday in exchange for Sam Travis.

Springs was designated for assignment by the Rangers earlier Wednesday, but he'll now join Boston's 40-man roster. The southpaw struggled at the major-league level last season, recording a 6.40 ERA with a 1.89 WHIP over 32.1 innings. Left-hander Bobby Poyner was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Bubic had a strong season in the minors in 2019, though he's unlikely to be ready for his MLB debut this year, as he's yet to reach the Double-A level. In 26 starts in Low-A and High-A last season, he cruised to a 2.23 ERA and a 32.2 percent strikeout rate.

Lynch will join the Royals for big-league camp this spring, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Lynch will get to work with the Royals' big-league pitching coaches, though he's probably not yet ready to debut this year, as he's yet to reach the Double-A level. In 15 starts for High-A Wilmington last year, he posted a 3.10 ERA, striking out 23.6 percent of opposing batters while walking 7.0 percent.
