Shane Bieber SP | TOR
Indians' Shane Bieber: Racks up double-digit K's again
Bieber surrendered one run on four hits and four walks while striking out 10 over five innings Friday night in a no-decision against the Rays.
Bieber gave up a run in the first inning on a single to right field, but he managed to settle down and deliver four consecutive scoreless frames before being lifted. He likely would've been able to work deeper into the ballgame had it not been for his elevated pitch count. Bieber threw 111 pitches, 67 for strikes. Following Friday's outing, the 23-year-old has posted a 3.11 ERA with 79 punchouts over 63.2 frames in 2019.

Blake Snell SP | LAD
Rays' Blake Snell: Turns in stellar outing
Snell yielded one run on four hits and three walks while striking out seven over 6.2 innings Friday in a no-decision against the Indians.
Snell gave up his lone run in the fourth inning on a solo homer to right field. He nearly managed to get through seven innings but was yanked with two outs in the seventh after 104 pitches (65 strikes). The 26-year-old southpaw has turned in quality starts in three of his last four outings, though he hasn't picked up a winning decision since May 6. Snell owns a 3.07 ERA and 1.01 WHIP with a 78:15 K:BB over 55.2 frames in 2019.

Andrew Heaney RP | LAD
Angels' Andrew Heaney: Confirmed as Sunday's starter
Heaney (elbow) will be activated from the 10-day injured list and start Sunday's game against the Rangers, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Heaney was lights out in his last rehab outing with Triple-A Salt Lake, tossing 4.1 scoreless frames and fanning 10 -- and proving one last time to his skipper that he's ready to return to the big leagues. The southpaw will make his season debut Sunday after battling through a left elbow issue for the first couple months of the 2019 campaign.

Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Red Sox's Nathan Eovaldi: Tossing another bullpen Saturday
Eovaldi (elbow) will throw a bullpen session Saturday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Eovaldi tossed a 35-pitch side session Tuesday without issue, and he'll throw another Saturday before likely moving on to a simulated game or a rehab assignment. A timetable for his activation from the injured list isn't quite set in stone just yet, but he's looking at a return in early-to-mid-June if all goes according to plan.

Mike Clevinger RP | PIT
Indians' Mike Clevinger: Heading to extended spring
Clevinger (back) will head to extended spring training Friday before beginning a rehab assignment, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
Clevinger can't return from the 60-day injured list until June 7, so he still has some time to build his arm strength back up. It's not yet clear how long he'll spend in extended spring before his rehab assignment begins.

James Paxton SP | BOS
Yankees' James Paxton: Pitching through pain
Paxton still feels pain in his inflamed left knee but was able to pitch through it in a simulated game Friday, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
It sounds as though the pain may not prevent Paxton from returning to the rotation, which could happen as soon as next week. That's good news for fantasy owners in terms of his availability, but it does raise concerns about whether his performance will be affected and increases the risk of a trip back to the injured list should the pain worsen.

Mike Clevinger RP | PIT
Indians' Mike Clevinger: Throws bullpen session
Clevinger (back) threw a bullpen session Friday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
Clevinger has been out with a back strain since early April. He's eligible to return no sooner than June 7 but appears on track to return around that date. The Indians are expected to decide on his rehab schedule once they see how his back responds to the bullpen session.

Martin Perez SP | ATL
Twins' Martin Perez: Earns seventh win
Perez (7-1) pitched five innings and got the win against the Angels on Thursday, allowing two runs on six hits and four walks while striking out three.
It was hardly a flawless start for Perez -- for the second straight outing, he walked four batters -- but he was able to hold the Angels to only two runs and earn an easy victory backed by Minnesota's 16-run outburst. Though his 7-1 record and 2.95 ERA this season are impressive, one has to wonder if they are sustainable based on his shaky 1.33 WHIP and 4.0 BB/9. He'll face Milwaukee in his next start Tuesday.

Lucas Giolito SP | SD
White Sox's Lucas Giolito: Tosses four-hit shutout
Giolito (6-1) dominated with a four-hit, complete-game shutout against the Astros on Thursday, walking one batter while punching out nine.
Not only was it Giolito's first complete-game shutout, but it was also the first time in his career to earn four consecutive wins. The only four hits Giolito allowed were singles as the right-hander fanned a season-high nine batters and threw 87 of 107 pitches for strikes. It was quite the feat against a top-ranked Houston offense. The right-hander will carry a 2.77 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 59:19 K:BB into a favorable showdown with Kansas City on Tuesday.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Surrenders three earned runs
Bundy allowed three earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five across 5.2 innings Thursday against the Yankees. He did not factor into the decision.
While still a passable outing, Bundy had allowed just three hits through five innings. Things unraveled a bit for him in the sixth frame as he allowed two walks and two hits that accounted for two of his three earned runs. Home runs remain an issue for him, as he yielded a solo shot to Clint Frazier in the fifth inning and has now been tagged for 2.1 HR/9 across 52 innings. On the other hand, he's surrendered only six earned runs across his last 23.2 innings, spanning four starts. He'll look to maintain the improved results in his next start, currently scheduled at home Tuesday against Detroit.
