Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Takes sixth loss
Stroman allowed four runs (three earned) on eight hits with four strikeouts and no walks across 6.1 innings in a loss to the White Sox on Saturday.
This game is a pretty good summary of Stroman's season. He pitched fairly well and displayed better control than he has all season, but the Blue Jays failed to give him any run support. The Toronto offense has averaged a measly 2.22 runs per game when Stroman's pitched this year. As a result, he is only 1-6 despite a 3.12 ERA. He also has a 1.29 WHIP and 45 strikeouts in 52 innings this season. Stroman is scheduled to pitch against the White Sox on the road Friday.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Loses fifth game
Bundy (1-5) gave up three runs on four hits -- including two home runs -- with two walks while striking out two over five innings in a 7-2 loss to the Angels on Saturday.
Homers have been a problem for Bundy all season, and he gave up two more in this outing, both to Albert Pujols. The 26-year-old couldn't build on his excellent outing against the Rays last weekend and generated just four swinging strikes in his 80 pitches. Bundy now has a 5.31 ERA with a 40:16 K:BB through eight starts this season. The right-hander will try to get back on track in his next start Thursday at Cleveland.

Spencer Turnbull RP | TOR
Tigers' Spencer Turnbull: Strikes out six in no-decision
Turnbull allowed two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out six in 5.2 innings Saturday against the Twins. He did not factor into the decision.
It wasn't Turnbull's best performance of the year, as his four walks tied a season high, but he kept the Tigers in a game which they would eventually win. His ERA rose only slightly and now sits at 2.42 on the season. His next start will come Thursday against Oakland.

Andrew Heaney RP | LAD
Angels' Andrew Heaney: To make three rehab starts
Heaney (elbow) is expected to soon begin a rehab assignment which should last for three starts, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Heaney has been battling an elbow issue since early March. He threw three innings in an extended spring game Friday and will pitch for a minor-league affiliate next week. Assuming his rehab stint does indeed last three starts, he's tracking for a return to Los Angeles in late May.

Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Red Sox's Nathan Eovaldi: Throwing from knees
Eovaldi threw from his knees Saturday for the second time since having stitches removed from his elbow, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Eovaldi is in the early stages of his rehab work after undergoing surgery on his elbow April 23. He was expected to resume pitching six weeks out from the procedure, so he is still at least a few weeks away from being ready to return.

Tyler Glasnow SP | LAD
Rays' Tyler Glasnow: Out 4-to-6 weeks
Glasnow has been diagnosed with a mild forearm strain and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Glasnow appears to have avoided the worst after leaving his start Friday with forearm tightness, but fantasy players will still be without his services until sometime in June. Glasnow will be shut down for 7-10 days to give his arm time to heal and then rebuild his stamina after that. It remains to be seen who will take Glasnow's place in the rotation until he is ready to return.

Frankie Montas RP | NYM
Athletics' Frankie Montas: Fans season-high seven
Montas didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 4-3 extra-innings win over Cleveland, allowing two runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings while striking out a season-high seven.
The 26-year-old continues to put together a breakout campaign for Oakland. Montas has delivered five quality starts in eight trips to the mound, and he'll carry a 2.78 ERA and sharp 42:11 K:BB through 45.1 innings into his next outing Friday in Detroit.
-
Jake Odorizzi SP | TB
Twins' Jake Odorizzi: Extends scoreless streak
Odorizzi (5-2) struck out five and picked up the win Friday, allowing only one hit over seven scoreless innings in a 6-0 victory over the Tigers.
The right-hander was brutally efficient, throwing 66 of 95 pitches for strikes, and Detroit's only hit against him was a first-inning double by Christin Stewart. Odorizzi now has an active 20-inning scoreless streak, giving him a sparkling 2.32 ERA, and he'll look to keep it going at home Wednesday against the Angels.
-
Justin Verlander SP | DET
Astros' Justin Verlander: Dominant in sixth win
Verlander (6-1) struck out eight and picked up the win in Friday's 3-0 victory over the Rangers, scattering one hit and two walks over seven scoreless innings.
Only one Texas batter even reached second base all night -- Hunter Pence drew a walk and Nomar Mazara got hit by a pitch in the fourth inning with two outs -- in the closest thing the Rangers managed to a rally off Verlander. The right-hander will carry a 2.51 ERA and 68:14 K:BB through 57.1 innings into his next start Wednesday in Detroit.
