Charlie Morton SP | ATL
Astros' Charlie Morton: Fans seven in win over D-backs
Morton (15-3) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits over six innings while striking out seven in a 10-4 victory over the Diamondbacks.
In a different era, his stellar winning percentage and 3.15 ERA might be garnering Morton some Cy Young consideration, but he'll instead have to make do with a legitimate shot at a second straight World Series ring. The right-hander will next take the mound Friday at home against the Angels.

Domingo German SP | PIT
Yankees' Domingo German: Returns to Yankees
German (elbow) was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
German has been out since July 27 with a nerve issue in his elbow and was rehabbing with High-A Tampa at the end of August. The 26-year-old has a 5.68 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in the majors this season -- mostly as a starter -- and should serve as a long reliever out of the Yankees bullpen for the stretch run.

The 25-year-old made 23 starts in the minor leagues this season, split across four levels. He posted a 3.92 ERA with a 10.0 K/9. It's unclear if the Tigers will go with a six-man rotation for the rest of the season or if Turnbull will get just one start before heading back to the bullpen.

Jose Berrios SP | TOR
Twins' Jose Berrios: Collects nine punchouts in no-decision
Berrios had to settle for a no-decision against the Royals on Friday. He allowed two earned runs on five hits and three walks over six innings while striking out nine.
Berrios ran into trouble in the first three innings, but he was able to limit the damage and allowed only a single run in each of the first two frames before completely shutting down the Royals' offense from the fourth through the sixth. He was in line for the victory, but the Twins' bullpen allowed five runs in the ninth. Overall, Berrios has struggled with consistency this season, but he does have 185 strikeouts over 179.2 innings with a 3.81 ERA in 2018. He'll look to stay on track in his next start, which is scheduled for Friday against the Athletics.

Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Takes no-decision Friday
Keuchel earned a quality start in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Friday. He allowed two earned runs on five hits and four walks over six innings while striking out five.
Keuchel gave up both his runs in the first inning on a two-run single by David Peralta, but he settled down and managed to complete six frames on 99 pitches. The four walks tied a season high for Keuchel, but he lowered his ERA to 3.57 with the effort. He now owns a 143:52 K:BB over 191.2 innings this season, and he's scheduled to make his next start Wednesday at home against the Mariners.

Matthew Boyd SP | CHC
Tigers' Matt Boyd: Strikes out seven in no-decision
Boyd did not factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 win over the Indians, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.
Boyd kept Cleveland off the board through five innings and was in line for the win before he allowed back-to-back home runs to Edwin Encarnacion and Josh Donaldson with one out in the sixth to tie the game at 2-2. Despite sputtering at the end, it was still a solid outing for Boyd, and the lefty has now allowed just three earned runs with 18 strikeouts over his last two starts (12.1 innings). He'll look to keep it rolling his next time out Wednesday against the Twins.

His next start is scheduled for Thursday against the Yankees.
