Adalberto Mejia SP | MIN
Twins' Adalberto Mejia: Scoreless streak continues Wednesday
Mejia (3-3) tossed 5.2 scoreless innings Wednesday, allowing five hits and a walk while striking out three in a 4-1 win over the Red Sox.
The rookie left-hander has now delivered 10.2 shutout innings over his last two starts, lowering his ERA to 4.38, while Wednesday's outing was the first time all season he's walked fewer than two batters. Mejia will try to keep things rolling Monday at home against the Angels.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Dominates O's on Wednesday
Stroman (8-4) scattered five hits and a walk over 7.2 scoreless innings in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Orioles. He struck out eight.
The right-hander threw a career-high 119 pitches (70 strikes) in the dominant outing, generating 11 groundball outs versus only two flyouts to lower his ERA to 3.41. Stroman rebounded nicely from a rough road start against Texas, but he faces a tough task in his next trip to the mound Monday in Yankee Stadium.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Orioles' Wade Miley: Falls to Jays on Wednesday
Miley (3-6) gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks over five innings while striking out five in Wednesday's 4-0 loss to the Blue Jays.
His early-season success is now a distant memory, as Miley has given up at least four runs in six of his last seven starts to leave him saddled with a 4.54 ERA. He'll try to turn things around in his next outing Monday on the road against the Brewers.

Blake Snell SP | LAD
Rays' Blake Snell: Rocked by Bucs in return to rotation
Snell (0-5) surrendered six runs on four hits and five walks over five innings while striking out six in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Pirates.
After seeming to get a handle on his control problems over his last few starts at Triple-A Durham, Snell returned to the majors and once again couldn't find the strike zone, throwing 56 of 98 pitches for strikes and tying his season high in walks. He'll take a 5.36 ERA and atrocious 5.7 BB/9 into his next outing Tuesday on the road against the Cubs.

Charlie Morton SP | ATL
Astros' Charlie Morton: Could make next start for Astros
Morton (lat) could make his next start for the Astros as early as Sunday against the Yankees, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The Astros are still weighing whether Morton will need to make another rehab start after he tossed four innings for Triple-A Fresno in his latest rehab appearance. If he isn't ready to return to the rotation for Sunday's series finale against the Yankees, he'd likely make his last rehab start for Double-A Corpus Christi while Mike Fiers toes the rubber for the big club. The Astros will likely wait until after his next bullpen session, which is scheduled for Thursday or Friday, before making a decision regarding his next move. Should Morton require another rehab start, he'd likely return to the Astros' rotation during the July 6-9 series against the Blue Jays.

Matthew Boyd SP | CHC
Tigers' Matt Boyd: Will make spot start in Saturday doubleheader
Boyd will be recalled from Triple-A Toledo to start one game of Saturday's doubleheader with the Indians, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Boyd, who was banished to the minors on June 2, will serve as the 26th man in the doubleheader, meaning he'll likely head back to Toledo once the twin bill is completed. Jordan Zimmermann is in line to start the other half of the doubleheader. Since moving to Triple-A, Boyd has performed admirably, albeit against lower-caliber competition. In five starts, he's compiled a 3.00 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB over 27 innings.

Matthew Boyd SP | CHC
Tigers' Matt Boyd: Probable for spot start Saturday
Boyd is a likely option to start one of the Tigers' doubleheader games Saturday against the Indians, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The southpaw was pulled just four innings into his Triple-A start Tuesday night, prompting speculation he was receiving a call to the majors. Boyd, who made 11 starts with the Tigers before being sent down, will get a another chance to prove his place in the big leagues after posting a 5.69 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in his earlier stint, but most likely will head back to Toledo following the outing. Jordan Zimmermann is on tap to start the other game Saturday.

Drew Smyly SP | CHC
Mariners' Drew Smyly: Will undergo Tommy John surgery
Smyly (elbow) was diagnosed Wednesday with a torn UCL and will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery.
It's brutal news for Smyly, who was already in the midst of recovering from an elbow injury before suffering a setback during a simulated start Tuesday. The southpaw has yet to pitch since being acquired by the Mariners in January and will undergo the procedure July 6, meaning his one-year contract will have expired by the time he's healed. Smyly posted a 4.88 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 30 starts with Tampa Bay last year and first experienced the initial elbow soreness during spring training.

Carlos Rodon SP | NYY
White Sox's Carlos Rodon: Reinstated from DL
Rodon (biceps) was reinstated from the 60-day DL ahead of his scheduled start Wednesday.
Rodon will be making his season debut against the Yankees on Wednesday night after having been sidelined since March with biceps tightness. The southpaw has been relatively unimpressive over three rehab starts with Triple-A Charlotte, posting a 9.22 ERA over 13.2 innings, but will get a chance to reassert himself as a stable option in the White Sox rotation. The 24-year-old compiled a 4.04 ERA and 168 strikeouts over 28 starts last season.

Jake Odorizzi SP | TB
Rays' Jake Odorizzi: Dealt with food poisoning prior to most recent start
Odorizzi was dealing with food poisoning in the days leading up to his most recent start Sunday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Coming off one of his worst starts of the season when he gave up four runs in 5.1 innings, we now know the pitcher was on IVs in the days before that outing. The Rays' starter appears to have recovered from the illness and fantasy owners should expect to see his future starts closer to the 3.78 ERA he had prior to the poor showing we saw from him Sunday.
