Chris Bassitt SP | BAL
Athletics' Chris Bassitt: Rehab assignment scheduled for Saturday
Bassitt (elbow) is scheduled to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with High-A Stockton over the weekend, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Bassitt continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery, and he remains hopeful to return to the big leagues this summer. He'll throw either three innings or 45 pitches during his first rehab appearance and should continue to ramp up his activity if all goes well.

Jose Quintana SP | COL
White Sox's Jose Quintana: Fans 10, picks up first victory
Quintana (1-4) allowed two runs -- one earned -- on five hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters over six innings during Wednesday's win over Kansas City.
After a sluggish start to the campaign (6.17 ERA through four starts), Quintana found his form Wednesday and spun his best game of the season. He's been one of the more reliable mid-tier hurlers in the league over the previous four years, so it was encouraging to see the 28-year-old lefty right the ship with the strong outing. On tap for a two-start week, Quintana will look to keep the momentum going against the Royals again in his next trip to the hill.

Jake Odorizzi SP | TB
Rays' Jake Odorizzi: Set to start Monday vs. Marlins
Odorizzi (hamstring) will return to the rotation Monday against the Marlins, the Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin reports.
Wednesday's simulated game went well, which was the final test for Odorizzi before he returned to the rotation. He has a 4.15 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB in 13 innings this season. Look for him to be activated Monday morning in advance of the start.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Orioles' Wade Miley: To start Sunday
Miley will start Sunday in New York, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
He was not expected to get a second start this week, but the Orioles will take advantage of days off to go with a four-man rotation with the hopes of activating Chris Tillman on May 2. Miley will face Jordan Montgomery and will no longer be in line for two starts next week.
-
Kevin Gausman SP | CHC
Orioles' Kevin Gausman: To start Friday
Gausman will start Friday in New York, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
He had been expected to start Saturday if the Orioles kept a five-man rotation, but instead they will opt to take advantage of off-days and go with a four-man unit with the hope that Chris Tillman can return onMay 2. Gausman will face CC Sabathia in the contest.

JC Ramirez SP | LAA
Angels' JC Ramirez: Completes seven scoreless innings in no-decision
Ramirez completed seven scoreless innings in Tuesday's no-decision versus the Athletics, allowing two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.
Ramirez turned in a gem after two consecutive rough starts. His strikeout stuff was working for the second straight outing, perhaps due in part to his outstanding velocity, as his fastball sat around 97 mph through the opening stages of the game. Ramirez has gone deeper with better results through each of his first three starts, helping turn around an inauspicious beginning to the season, and he will carry a respectable 4.43 ERA along with a 1.16 WHIP into Sunday's road start against the Rangers.

Jose Berrios SP | TOR
Twins' Jose Berrios: Another strong Triple-A outing
Berrios gave up one run over six innings with three strikeouts but got a no-decision Tuesday for Triple-A Rochester. He's 1-0 with a 1.44 ERA and 28:6 K:BB ratio in 25 innings.
Berrios is likely the leading candidate to be called up when the Twins next need a fifth starter on May 6. He has little left to prove at Triple-A after a 2.51 ERA and 10.1 K/9 at Rochester last season.
-
Wade Miley SP | CIN
Orioles' Wade Miley: Allows just two runs despite six walks
Miley (1-1) gave up two runs on four hits and six walks over seven innings in Tuesday's loss to Tampa Bay. He struck out eight.
Amazingly, that wasn't even Miley's season-high walk total -- he issued seven in his season debut against the Yankees. Yet in his other two starts, Miley's walked one batter, total. It all adds up to a 2.08 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 32:14 K:BB over 26 innings to start the year. While his ratios are sure to regress, Miley has certainly earned some attention with his sharp increase in strikeouts.

Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Goes full distance to beat Indians
Keuchel improved to 4-0 with a complete-game victory in Cleveland on Tuesday, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts.
He's off to quite the start, having given up just five earned runs in 37 innings. This is certainly vindicating those who bought in on Keuchel following a hugely disappointing 2016 campaign, but a note of caution is required: Keuchel's ridiculously good numbers are accompanied by a .188 BABIP and perfect strand rate, two impressively unsustainable statistics. His next start will come Sunday at home against Oakland; Keuchel held the A's to one run over seven innings back on April 14.

Luis Severino SP | ATH
Yankees' Luis Severino: Slated for Wednesday start
Severino will pitch Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Severino was initially slated to start Tuesday's contest, but he'll slide back a day following Tuesday's rainout. He'll still face off with Rick Porcello, while Masahiro Tanaka and CC Sabathia will move to Thursday and Friday, respectively.
