Senga (8-6) earned the win over the Cubs on Monday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings.

The Mets jumped ahead 3-0 after one frame, and Senga kept Chicago in check to record his first win since July 5. The right-hander didn't allow any extra-base hits and threw 57 of 85 pitches for strikes in a relatively efficient effort. The quality start was Senga's fourth over his past six contests, a span in which he's posted a 2.57 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 41:11 K:BB over 35 innings. With the Mets having traded both Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer, Senga has become the team's de facto ace.

Webb allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits and struck out six without walking a batter over 5.2 innings. He did not factor in the decision Monday versus the Angels.

Webb was solid but faded in the sixth inning. He was in line for the loss when he exited, but J.D. Davis' solo home run in the seventh inning tied the game at 2-2 to get Webb off the hook. The San Francisco ace has shown steady control lately, posting a 34:2 K:BB over 37.1 innings across his last six starts. He's at a 3.38 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 151:25 K:BB through 154.1 innings over 24 starts on the year. Webb is projected for a challenging home start versus the Rangers this weekend.

Bido allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits over four innings in Monday's win over Atlanta. He struck out three and did not factor in the decision.

Bido was untouchable through three perfect frames but Atlanta's bats got going and plated four runs in the fourth inning. He's coughed up 10 earned runs over his last 12.2 innings, raising his season ERA from 4.44 to 5.35 in the process. The rookie hasn't thrown more than four frames in an outing since June 24. Bido is lined up to face the Reds at home this weekend.

Peralta (8-8) allowed a run on one hit while striking out 13 without walking a batter over seven innings to earn the win Monday over the Rockies.

Peralta had an excellent start, with the lone blemish being Ezequiel Tovar's solo home run in the first inning. This was the second time in Peralta's last three starts that he dialed up 13 strikeouts, and four of his last five outings have been quality starts. He's now at a 4.28 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 151:45 K:BB through 122 innings over 22 starts this season. The right-hander is projected to face the White Sox on the road over the weekend.

Strider (12-4) allowed six runs on five hits and three walks over 2.2 innings Monday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Pirates.

After two scoreless frames, the Pirates plated six runs in a disastrous third inning. It was Strider's shortest outing of the year and the first time he struck out fewer than six batters. The 24-year-old has given up at least four runs in three of his last five outings, registering a 5.86 ERA during that stretch. Strider owns a terrific 211:41 K:BB through 132.1 innings but his season ERA shot up to 3.94. His next start is lined up to be on the road against the Mets.

Perez (5-4) allowed four runs on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings Monday, striking out seven and taking a loss against the Reds.

Perez tossed two scoreless frames before the Reds plated a run in the third inning. He later served up back-to-back home runs in the fourth. It was Perez's first MLB outing since July 6 and he was handed his third straight loss. During that stretch, he's allowed 11 runs through 11 frames, raising his season ERA to 2.79. Perez is lined up to face the Yankees at home this weekend.

Williamson (4-2) allowed one run on three hits over 6.2 innings Monday, striking out nine and earning a win over Miami.

After coughing up a solo shot to Jorge Soler in the first inning, Williamson locked in and dominated the Marlins. Williamson struck out a career-high nine batters while tying his longest MLB outing. He had a slight hiccup against the Cubs in his last start following a dominant July. The 25-year-old posted a 2.45 ERA in five starts last month but yielded five runs in his most recent appearance to kick off August. Williamson will carry a 4.54 ERA into his next outing, which is projected to be in Pittsburgh.

Lugo (4-6) took the loss Monday, allowing eight runs on eight hits and two walks over 3.1 innings against the Dodgers. He struck out two.

Lugo cruised through the first three innings and was spotted a large lead after his offense put up a five-spot in the third. However, the 33-year-old veteran was unable to make it out of the fourth, coughing up eight runs in the frame on six hits, including a Mookie Betts grand slam that delivered the knockout blow. Lugo had been pitching well prior to Monday's outing, posting a 3.04 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 50:8 K:BB in 47.1 innings since returning from the injured list June 20. He will look to rebound in his next start, which is projected to come on the road against Arizona over the weekend.

Gonsolin (7-4) earned the win Monday, allowing six runs on nine hits and one walk over six innings against San Diego. He struck out three.

The Padres inflicted the majority of their damage against Gonsolin in the third inning, tallying five runs on four hits including a two-run bomb by Luis Campusano. Despite the rough inning, Gonsolin managed to stay in the game long enough to receive the run support needed to earn a victory. In five starts since the All-Star break, the 29-year-old right-hander has now posted a 5.19 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB across 26 innings. He is projected for a home start against the Rockies over the weekend.

Buehler (elbow) "will take the next step in his recovery by facing hitters in Arizona this week," Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

It was reported last week that Buehler was close to beginning a rehab assignment, and while it's unclear if he will officially start one in the coming days, he appears ready to take another step in his recovery. Expect the Dodgers to release another update on his status following his upcoming session.
