Mikolas continues to turn a corner after a rough start to his season. After coughing up 11 runs over his first 11 innings, he's given up just eight over his last 23. The right-hander is far from an elite option, but he can be counted on for solid outings. The 34-year-old is tentatively slated to face the Cubs on the road in his next appearance.

Freeland aggravated a neck injury during Wednesday's win over Milwaukee, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

Freeland said he first tweaked his neck while lifting weights after his previous start against the Diamondbacks, and the issue flared up again in the fifth inning of Wednesday's contest. Freeland's neck injury isn't expected to impact his next start, but it could be something the team keeps a closer eye on going forward.

Stroman allowed just one run on five hits across six innings but did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Nationals. He walked three and struck out five.

Stroman continued his strong start to the season, as he now has a 2.18 ERA overall, though he hasn't earned a win since April 7. The righty has a 3.05 ERA across 29.1 innings following that last win, so his performance really hasn't fallen off much, but the run support just hasn't been there. Fantasy managers would like to see more wins moving forward, though it's hard to complain about how Stroman has pitched. He'll look to keep rolling when he takes the hill again early next week.

Taillon (groin) will be activated from the 15-day injured list and start Thursday against the Nationals, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Cubs manager David Ross dismissed the idea of a Thursday return for Taillon on Monday, but he seems to have changed his mind. The 31-year-old righty will skip a rehab stint and make his first appearance since landing on the injured list with a left groin strain April 20. Taillon holds a 4.50 ERA and 1.36 WHIP through 14 innings this season.

Wright will be placed on the 15-day injured list after injuring his right shoulder Wednesday, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.

This already marks the second time this season Wright has landed on the IL due to soreness in his right shoulder. He received a cortisone injection in January during his first battle with shoulder issues and ended up missing two turns through the rotation to start the year.

Dodd will be called up Thursday to start against the Marlins, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Dodd has already made two starts for Atlanta this season, but he was sent down to Triple-A Gwinnett shortly after allowing seven runs across 4.1 innings against San Diego. He's had slightly more success in the minors this season, although he gave up six runs in three innings during his most recent Triple-A appearance.

Wright left Wednesday's game against the Marlins due to right shoulder soreness.

A sore right shoulder kept Wright on the injured list to start the season, and it now seems the problem has returned. It's uncertain whether he will require another stint on the IL, but Wright's right shoulder is quickly starting to become a concern for fantasy managers.

Lugo (3-2) earned the win Wednesday, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks over six innings in a 7-1 win over the Reds. He struck out five.

It was a solid bounce-back outing for Lugo after he dropped his previous two outings. He held the Reds off the board until Spencer Steer's solo home run to lead off the sixth inning. Overall, Lugo has been solid in his first season with the Padres while transitioning out of the bullpen. He lowered his ERA to 3.21 with a 1.34 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB over six starts this season.

Nola did not factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing four runs on seven hits over 6.1 innings against the Dodgers. He struck out five.

Nola pitched well for most of Wednesday's outing, but his streak of three consecutive quality starts was snapped after Chris Taylor tripled in the seventh inning and scored on Freddie Freeman's sacrifice fly. While Nola sports an unsightly 4.64 ERA, a solid 1.13 WHIP and 33:9 K:BB would indicate that positive regression is coming. He's currently lined up to face the Blue Jays at home in his next outing.

Stone did not factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and two walks over four innings against Philadelphia. He struck out one.

It certainly wasn't the debut Stone would have imagined, but he was spared the loss as the Dodgers overcame a 5-0 deficit to beat the Phillies. Stone featured a fastball that averaged 93 mph, countered by an 82-mph changeup that he threw 43 percent of the time. It's uncertain whether the 24-year-old right-hander will get another start right away in the big leagues. Manager Dave Roberts said prior to Wednesday's outing that the team would take it "one step at a time" with Stone, per Juan Toribio of MLB.com.
