Peralta (lat) recently resumed working out at the Brewers' extended spring training facility in Arizona, but he's not expected to make his return from the 15-day injured list for at least another month, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Peralta has been on the shelf since exiting his May 22 start with a right lat strain. At the time Peralta was shut down with the injury, the Brewers were bracing for a long-term absence, so the news that he'll likely remain sidelined through the All-Star break shouldn't come as a major surprise. Until Peralta resumes facing hitters and is cleared for a minor-league rehab assignment, the Brewers likely won't offer a potential target date for his return from the IL.

Flaherty (shoulder) will start Wednesday's game against the Pirates, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Flaherty has been out all season while recovering from shoulder inflammation. He's made just two rehab starts and reached a modest 58 pitches in his latest one, and previous reports indicated that he'd need one outing in the minors before returning from the injured list. The Cardinals have evidently changed plans, swayed either by the scramble caused by their Tuesday doubleheader or by the fact that Flaherty has been so dominant (seven innings with nine strikeouts and just a single baserunner) in his rehab appearances. Flaherty will be limited to 60 pitches in his season debut, per Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat, but the Cardinals are clearly comfortable with those pitches being thrown at the major-league level.

Liberatore was recalled ahead of his scheduled start in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Pirates.

Liberatore will be the 27th man for the doubleheader, which suggests he could head right back to the minors after his outing. He hasn't done quite enough to stick permanently in the big-league rotation through his first three starts at the highest level, posting a 5.54 ERA and 10:8 K:BB, though a date with the Pirates could help him improve those numbers.

Wood (4-5) earned the win over Kansas City on Monday, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings.

The veteran southpaw endured a rough third inning during which the Royals put up two runs on two hits and a walk to take an early lead. Wood settled down from there, retiring the final 10 batters he faced and getting credit for the win as a result of San Francisco taking the lead in the half-inning following his departure from the contest. This was Wood's first win in six starts -- a span of over a month. He's posted a 4.11 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 60:16 K:BB across 61.1 innings on the season.

Kelly (5-4) took the loss against Cincinnati on Monday, pitching six innings and allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven.

There were some positives to Kelly's performance -- he racked up 14 swinging strikes, struck out seven and completed six innings for the second straight game -- but he was unable to take advantage of an early 4-1 lead. After holding the Reds to one run through four frames, the right-hander gave up three runs in the fifth and another in the sixth to fall behind. Overall, Kelly yielded more than three runs for the first time in five starts and for just the second time through 13 outings this season. His 3.68 ERA is respectable, though it comes with a less-promising 1.35 WHIP.

Steele allowed one run on six hits over seven innings in Monday's loss to the Padres. He struck out three and did not factor in the decision.

Steele gave another strong performance but he's still looking for his first win since April 9. The only run he allowed came in the third inning from Jake Cronenworth's RBI single. Over his last two outings, Steele has been charged with two earned runs over 14 frames, lowering his season ERA to 4.33 across 12 starts. The 26-year-old is projected to face Atlanta at home this weekend.

Darvish (6-3) allowed one run on five hits over eight innings Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Cubs.

Aside from Yan Gomes' solo shot in the second inning, it was smooth sailing for Darvish as he picked up his second straight win. He's yielded just one run on seven hits over his last 15 frames, lowering his season ERA to 3.35 through 75.1 innings. The veteran righty has allowed two or fewer runs in eight of his 12 starts this year. Darvish is lined up to start in Colorado this weekend.

Anderson allowed four runs on six hits and four walks with three strikeouts in four-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Nationals on Monday.

Anderson cruised through the first three innings before allowing a run in the fourth and three more in the fifth. Luckily for the right-hander, the Atlanta offense spotted him a 6-0 lead, so he was never in much danger of taking a loss. This was still his shortest start since his first outing of the year. He's posted a 4.81 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 53:30 K:BB across 63.2 innings in 12 starts overall, though he's allowed four or more runs in four of his last five outings. Anderson is projected for a road start versus the Cubs this weekend.

Keller yielded two runs on seven hits and a walk over 5.1 innings in Monday's loss to St. Louis. He struck out two and did not factor in the decision.

Keller got through five shutout frames before running into trouble in the sixth inning. He was yanked after putting two Cardinals on base and was charged with both runs while Anthony Banda was on the mound. The 26-year-old righty has now gone five straight appearances without giving up more than two runs, lowering his season ERA from 6.61 to 5.07 during that stretch. Keller is lined up to face the Giants at home this weekend.

Alcantara allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five over 7.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Phillies.

Alcantara continues to eat innings -- he's completed at least seven frames in his last seven starts. He was probably left in a little too long Monday, as he walked the first two batters he faced in the eighth inning before getting a double play. Steven Okert then allowed the tying to run to score, making this the first time since since May 6 that Alcantara has allowed multiple earned runs. The Marlins' ace has a 1.68 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 82:27 K:BB across 91.1 innings in 13 starts overall. He's projected for a road start versus the Mets this weekend.
