Sanchez was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Sanchez gave up at least one run in each of his four relief appearances early in the year, and he'll head to the minors since the Phillies need to trim their active roster to 26 players by Monday. The southpaw posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in 10 innings with the Phillies to begin the year.

Cobb (1-1) took the loss during Sunday's 11-5 defeat at the hands of the Nationals, allowing five runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks in two-thirds of an inning.

Making his first start since returning from a groin injury, Cobb surrendered two hits before Jason Vosler committed an error and the damage piled on from there. The result was 40 pitches with just 22 strikes, while the 34-year-old recorded only two outs as Washington batted around and put up a five spot. Cobb will look to get back on track next weekend in St. Louis.

Freeland (1-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk over seven innings against the Reds. He struck out four.

Brandon Drury touched Freeland up for a homer in the fifth inning, but that was the extent of the damage against the left-hander. While Freeland's 1-3 record and 4.85 ERA on the season don't look great, he now has a 2.12 ERA and 14:3 K:BB over his last three starts (17 innings), including two starts at Coors Field in that stretch. He still has to be considered a high-risk option given his track record as he heads into a road start in Arizona next weekend.

Davies allowed two unearned runs on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts in five innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Sunday.

A one-out error by Ketel Marte ultimately allowed two runs to come across the plate in the third inning. Davies left the game in line for the win, but the Diamondbacks' bullpen couldn't maintain the lead. The right-hander won't see any damage added to his ratios after this start -- he has a 4.24 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 16:11 K:BB through 23.1 innings across five outings. He lines up for a home start versus the Rockies next weekend.

Gray (3-2) picked up the win during Sunday's 11-5 victory over San Francisco, allowing one hit and four walks with three strikeouts in six scoreless innings.

Gray took the hill with a 5-0 lead in hand and breezed through the first four innings, only encountering trouble when he loaded the bases in the fifth. However, he was able to strike out Darin Ruf to end the threat. The 24-year-old has excelled in two road starts thus far, tossing 11 scoreless innings combined, compared to surrendering nine runs in 15 innings during three home games. The totals come out to a solid 3.12 ERA, 31 strikeouts and a slightly high 1.31 WHIP in 26 innings.

Keller (0-4) allowed a run on five hits and no walks while striking out five in six innings to take the loss against the Padres on Sunday.

Keller posted his first quality start of the season during Sunday's outing, but he didn't get much help from the Pirates' offense and was forced to settle for his fourth loss in his first five starts in 2022. The right-hander now has a 5.32 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 23.2 innings this year. Although Keller was unable to enter the win column Sunday, it was encouraging to see him generate some success while throwing 85 pitches in the pitching duel. He tentatively lines up to start in one of the Pirates' two games during a twin bill in Cincinnati on Saturday.

Muller was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Muller was called up prior to Sunday's start against the Rangers, and he allowed seven runs on four hits and six walks while striking out three in 2.2 innings to take the loss. The southpaw will head back to the minors following his rough start as part of a move to trim Atlanta's active roster to 26 players. Bryce Elder was also optioned to Gwinnett on Sunday, so it's not yet clear who will serve as the team's fifth starter next week.

Musgrove (4-0) allowed a run on seven hits and no walks while striking out eight in seven innings to earn the win over the Pirates on Sunday.

Musgrove gave up hits in three of the first four innings during Sunday's matchup, but he didn't give up a run until the bottom of the seventh. The right-hander had to settle for a no-decision in his season debut, but he's picked up wins in his last four outings. Musgrove has lasted at least six innings in every start this year and has posted a 1.97 ERA and 0.91 WHIP in 32 innings. He tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Marlins next Sunday.

Gore is scheduled to start Wednesday's game in Cleveland, Bill Center of MLB.com reports.

Gore's inclusion in the pitching schedule this week implies that he won't be optioned to Triple-A El Paso when the Padres have to pare down their active roster from 28 to 26 men by Monday's deadline. Additionally, it indicates that the return of Mike Clevinger (knee) from the 10-day injured list to start Tuesday's series opener won't cost Gore his rotation spot either, at least in the short term. Nick Martinez is expected to start Thursday against the Marlins, and his performance in that outing along with how Gore fares Wednesday may dictate which of the two sticks around for what could be a six-man rotation for the Friars. The return of Clevinger gives the Padres six starters, so the team will likely have to move Gore or Martinez to the bullpen when Blake Snell (groin) is potentially ready to come off the IL as soon as May 8. To this point, Gore has soundly outperformed Martinez, submitting a 1.76 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB across 15.1 innings.

Burnes (1-1) allowed two runs on four hits and a walk over seven innings Sunday, striking out 10 and taking a loss against the Cubs.

Burnes turned in another strong outing but was tagged with his first loss of the season in part because his offense failed to score a run in the contest. He kept the Cubs scoreless through four frames before Patrick Wisdom knocked a solo home run in the fifth. The 27-year-old is sporting a 1.93 ERA with an impressive 43:7 K:BB through 32.2 frames after recording at least 10 strikeouts for a third straight start. Burnes is expected to take the mound in Atlanta next weekend.
