Hendricks (13-4) picked up the win in Saturday's 6-3 victory over the Nationals, allowing one run on four hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out three.

The veteran right-hander wasn't fazed by the depleted lineup behind him following a busy trade deadline for the Cubs, as he tossed 71 of 100 pitches for strikes en route to his fifth quality start in his last six outings and his 16th of the season. Hendricks will take a 3.71 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 94:26 K:BB through 128.2 innings into his next start.

Darvish (7-6) lost Saturday's 5-3 contest with Colorado, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in six innings.

Like much of July, Darvish struggled in this one, surrendering three home runs and five total runs for his fourth time allowing at least four runs in five starts this month. It was the All-Star's fourth loss of July and Darvish's ERA has climbed more than a full run from 2.44 to 3.48 in the stretch. He'll look to get back on track next weekend against the lowly Diamondbacks.

Clevinger (elbow) has been playing catch for over a month and is on schedule in his recovery from Tommy John surgery, per MLB.com.

The right-hander underwent surgery on his elbow last November and won't take the mound during the 2021 campaign. However, he should be ready to pitch by the start of the 2022 campaign if his recovery remains on track.

Marquez (9-8) won Saturday's 5-3 victory against the Padres, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks with seven strikeouts in six innings.

Marquez only runs allowed came on a Jake Cronenworth home run in the third as the righty has thrown consecutive quality starts and gone six innings in eight straight turns. The 26-year-old has a solid 3.51 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 134:48 K:BB in 22 starts.

Kelly (7-8) took the loss in Saturday's 8-3 defeat at the hands of the Dodgers, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 6.1 innings.

Kelly allowed three runs in the second on four hits but settled down after to permit just a single run in the seventh and hold a formidable Dodgers lineup to a respectable four total runs. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Kelly and was his first since June 16. The 32-year-old lines up to face San Francisco next week.

Muller allowed one run on four hits and two walks with seven strikeouts through five innings, taking a no-decision in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Brewers.

Muller dueled it out with two-time All-Star Brandon Woodruff for five innings Saturday night, with the only damage against his line coming on a Manny Pina groundout. While the rookie did push his streak of walking multiple batters to six straight starts, he has allowed just three runs in his last three outings. The Braves added everything but starting pitching at the deadline, so evidently they are confident that Muller and the rest of the rotation can keep them in contention. His next chance will likely come Friday against the Nationals.

Pepiot was moved up to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander has excelled at the Double-A level this season, posting a 2.87 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 81:26 K:BB across 59.2 innings. He'll now move up to the highest level of the minors, and it's not out of the question that he could make his big-league debut at some point before the end of the campaign. Pepiot is not currently on the 40-man roster, but he ranks among the organization's top pitching prospects.

Woodruff (7-6) allowed three runs on eight hits and one walk with six strikeouts through 5.1 innings, taking the loss in Saturday's 8-1 defeat to the Braves.

There's a strong argument that Woodruff deserved a better fate Saturday night. With the game tied at one and Dansby Swanson at the plate, Woodruff was severely squeezed on a 2-2 curveball after which Swanson himself even took a step back towards the dugout. On the very next pitch, Swanson homered off Woodruff to give the Braves a 3-1 lead and knock the right-hander out of the game. Swanson's shot marked the first homer the two-time All-Star has allowed since June 23. Woodruff is now winless in his last five starts.

Woodford (2-3) allowed seven runs on seven hits and one walk with three strikeouts in three innings of work, taking the loss in Saturday's 8-1 defeat to the Twins.

Woodford didn't have it from the jump Saturday night, as Minnesota got to him early and often. The right-hander allowed two to score in the first before five Twins crossed home under his watch in the third, punctuated by a Ryan Jeffers three-run home run. With deadline additions Jon Lester and J.A. Happ set to join the rotation in the coming days, Woodford is a strong candidate to yield his spot to one of the incoming veterans.

Miley allowed three runs on four hits and three walks with a pair of strikeouts over seven innings against the Mets on Saturday. He did not factor into the decision.

Miley departed with a 4-3 lead -- Javier Baez had hit his first homer as a Met in the sixth to make it a one-run game -- but the Cincinnati bullpen couldn't hang on to deliver the 34-year-old his ninth win over the year. Still, it was the fourth quality start in five July appearances for Miley, who keeps finding ways to be effective for both the Reds and fantasy managers. Miley is 8-4 on the year with a 2.92 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with an 88:36 K:BB in 114 innings, and he's tentatively lined up for a favorable home matchup with the Pirates in his next scheduled start.
