Strasburg (shoulder) was activated from the injured list as expected ahead of his scheduled start Friday against Baltimore, Maria Torres of The Athletic reports.

Strasburg made just two starts before being shut down with shoulder inflammation. He's ready to go after missing more than a month and should be able to handle close to a full workload, as he threw 75 pitches in a rehab start Sunday. Kyle McGowin was optioned in a corresponding move.

MIley was placed on the 10-day injured list with a sprained left foot Friday.

Miley exited his start Wednesday against the Giants due to the injury. He'll be eligible to return May 30, though it's not yet clear whether or not he's expected to do so. Ashton Goudeau was recalled to take his place on the roster. His replacement in the rotation has yet to be announced, but the Reds don't need to figure one out right away, as they have an off day Monday.

Martinez (ankle) was activated off the 10-day injured list as expected ahead of his scheduled start Friday against the Cubs.

Martinez pitched through an ankle issue in his previous start against the Rockies back on May 8, allowing five runs in five innings. It was initially expected he wouldn't have to miss a turn in the rotation, but Martinez wound up missing just shy of two weeks. The righty owns a passable 4.35 ERA on the season, but his 12.6 percent strikeout rate gives him a very low fantasy ceiling.

DeGrom (side) is expected to make his next start in the majors after completing a successful rehab start Thursday, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

The 32-year-old threw 41 pitches over three scoreless frames in a rehab start with Low-A St. Lucie on Thursday, and he's now poised to rejoin the Mets' rotation for his next outing. If he remains on a five-day pitching schedule, deGrom will be activated from the injured list and take the mound Tuesday at home versus the Rockies

Kelly (2-5) lost Thursday's 3-2 match game against Los Angeles, pitching seven innings and permitting three runs on six hits with 12 strikeouts.

Not known for his strikeout abilities, Kelly had his stuff working Thursday and was able to retire 12 Dodgers via the K despite averaging less than six per start this season. Alas, his two mistakes did him in: an Albert Pujols second-inning two-run homer and a Will Smith solo shot in the seventh. Kelly will look to build on the successful outing as he lines up to face San Francisco next week.

Freeland (shoulder) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out four across six innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Freeland threw 79 pitches in his second rehab start at the level, an increase from the 66 he threw in his first outing. Assuming he doesn't suffer any unexpected setbacks, Freeland could be in line to make his season debut Tuesday at the Mets.

Mahle (2-2) allowed seven earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two across two innings to take the loss Thursday against the Giants.

Mahle had allowed one earned run through two innings of work, but he failed to retire any of the six Giants hitters he faced in the third frame. He was pulled after surrendering four runs in the outing, but his line only worsened when Michael Feliz entered the game and promptly allowed a grand slam to the first batter he faced. Mahle had allowed more than two earned runs in a start only once prior to Thursday's outing, so he'll look to get back to form in his next projected start Wednesday at Washington.

Smyly allowed three earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out seven across six innings in the loss to the Pirates on Thursday. He did not factor into the decision.

Smyly posted a quality start despite allowing three runs on a pair of home runs. The 32-year-old threw 73 of his 109 pitches for strikes. It was his third straight quality start after he struggled to start the season. His seven strikeouts were a good sign, considering he hasn't had more than four punchouts since his season debut. He has a 5.11 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 33 strikeouts in 37 innings. His next scheduled start is Wednesday in Boston.

Alcantara (2-3) allowed two hits and three walks while striking out nine over six shutout innings to earn the win Thursday versus Philadelphia.

Alcantara bounced back in a big way after allowing eight runs in 1.1 innings in his last start. The right-hander kept runs off the board for the first time since his Opening Day start versus Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old has posted a 3.63 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 60:19 K:BB across 57 innings this season. He's projected to get another look versus Philadelphia next week.

Cueto (3-1) allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk while striking out four across five innings to earn the win Thursday against the Reds.

Cueto got 13 runs of support prior to exiting the game after completing five innings. In three starts since returning from a lat injury May 9, Cueto has progressively ramped up his pitch count and managed 89 pitches Thursday. The outing was also a step forward from a results perspective, as he had surrendered seven earned runs in 7.1 innings across his last two outings. Cueto currently lines up to take the mound Wednesday at Arizona.
