Mikolas (shoulder) is scheduled to come off the 10-day injured list and start Saturday against the Cubs, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The 32-year-old will see his first MLB action since the 2019 playoffs after sitting out last season with a forearm injury and missing the first seven weeks of 2021 due to a shoulder issue. Mikolas threw 80 pitches in his last rehab start for Triple-A Memphis on Sunday, so he shouldn't face any significant workload limitations in his season debut.

Malone (finger) has made two relief appearances for Low-A Bradenton this season, working two innings while giving up two unearned runs on three hits and one walk.

Malone's season debut was delayed due to a blister on his pitching hand, but he didn't end up missing significant time. The 20-year-old righty could be stretched out for starting duty once the blister is further in the rear-view mirror.

Carrasco (hamstring) played catch Wednesday but manager Luis Rojas didn't know when the right-hander is expected to throw off a mound Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

It's good news the 34-year-old continues to throw and hasn't been shut down due to the injury, though it does little in terms of providing a timeline for his potential return. Carrasco is eligible to be activated from the 60-day injured list at the end of May, though it's safe to say he won't be returning at that point since it's less than two weeks away and he's yet to resume mound work.

Carrasco (hamstring) was spotted playing catch with Mets assistant pitching coach Jeremy Accardo in Atlanta on Wednesday, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

The Mets have declined to send Carrasco out for a minor-league rehab assignment while he works back from a right hamstring strain, but the fact that he's still throwing is a sign that he hasn't been shut down due to the injury. Even so, the lack of transparency from the team regarding where exactly Carrasco stands in his rehab program makes it difficult to project when he might be reinstated from the 60-day injured list.

Walker (side) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Walker exited Monday's start against Atlanta due to left side tightness, and he's reportedly felt good recently. However, the team will elect to place him on the injured list to avoid a long-term injury. It's not yet clear how much time Walker will miss, but the Mets could utilize a four-man rotation in the immediate future since they have a day off Thursday.

DeGrom (side) played catch Wednesday and will make a rehab start for Low-A St. Lucie on Thursday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

DeGrom threw a bullpen session Tuesday, but the team wants to see him face hitters before he's cleared to return to the Mets' rotation. The right-hander has been progressing well in his recovery, and if all goes well in his rehab start, he should make his return from the 10-day injured list as soon as May 25 against the Rockies.

Syndergaard (elbow) allowed one hit and no walks while striking out five in four innings during a rehab start for Low-A St. Lucie on Wednesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Syndergaard was making his first appearance in a game since he underwent Tommy John surgery in March 2020, and he threw 44 pitches in his start while showing a fastball that hovered around 93 to 95 miles per hour. Syndergaard is expected to remain with Low-A St. Lucie until the end of May, but the right-hander should ramp up his workload in the coming weeks and could be on track to return to the major-league roster in mid-June.

Woodruff (2-2) allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out four over 7.2 innings as he took the loss against the Royals on Tuesday.

Woodruff kept the Royals off the scoreboard up until the eighth inning after they were able to rally together two runs which were enough to put the Brewers away. Despite taking the loss, the 28-year-old Woodruff tossed his eighth consecutive quality start and has a stunning 1.58 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 65:14 K:BB over 57 innings. He'll look to continue his dominance and get back in the win column in his next projected start against the Padres early next week.

Wheeler didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Marlins despite giving up one unearned run on five hits while striking out 10 across seven innings.

Wheeler was dominant and produced one of his best starts of the season, as he's now tossed at least seven scoreless innings in two of his last three appearances. He'd given up two or fewer runs in four of his previous five starts and owns a dominant 1.86 ERA across four starts (29 innings) this month. Wheeler is slated to make his next start during the upcoming weekend series against the Red Sox at home.

Snell did not factor in the decision Tuesday versus Colorado despite allowing only one run over six innings. He gave up five hits and one walk while striking out 11.

This was easily Snell's finest start as a member of the Padres, as he tossed six innings for the first time in 2021, racked up a season-high 11 strikeouts, and issued less than two walks for the first time on the campaign. The southpaw racked up 17 swinging strikes and escaped with only one run on his ledger despite the fact that four of the five hits against him went for extra bases. Snell will carry a 3.79 ERA and 60:25 K:BB into his next start, which is expected to come in Milwaukee on Monday.
