  • Miles Mikolas RP | WAS

Cardinals' Miles Mikolas: Earns 13th win

Mikolas (13-3) allowed one run over six innings in a win over the Brewers on Saturday. He gave up five hits while striking out seven and walking none.

A Travis Shaw homer in the second inning accounted for all of the damage against Mikolas, who moved into a tie for third in the National League in wins with this victory. He's been more than just good for fantasy owners; the 29-year-old has been a top-15 starting pitcher despite a bottom-15 strikeout percentage among qualified starters. Mikolas heads out to Colorado for his next scheduled start.

  • Jacob deGrom SP | TEX

Mets' Jacob deGrom: Fans nine in complete game vs. Phillies

DeGrom (8-7) allowed one run (zero earned) on seven hits while striking out nine over nine innings as he secured the victory Saturday against Philadelphia.

DeGrom turned in a dominant outing, as the Phillies managed to plate just one unearned run in the seventh inning. He was extremely efficient in the third complete game of his career, tossing 78 of 108 total pitches for strikes. The 30-year-old ace has notched three straight victories, and he'll head into his next outing with a stellar 1.71 ERA and 0.96 WHIP with a 204:36 K:BB over 168 innings.

  • Jose Urena SP | LAA

Marlins' Jose Urena: Will start Sunday

Urena will take the hill Sunday against Washington, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.

Urena was handed a suspension after intentionally hitting Ronald Acuna on Wednesday, but he'll be able to take the hill while appealing the ban. The MLB is expected to make a decision on its initial ruling within the next few days.

  • Braves' Touki Toussaint: To return to majors shortly

Toussaint is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to start either Thursday or Friday against Miami, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Toussaint was sent back to the minors Tuesday after making his big-league debut Monday against the Marlins. He's slated to toe the rubber Saturday, which would put him in line to make a start sometime next week against Miami.

  • Zach Davies SP | WAS

Brewers' Zach Davies: Slated for final rehab outing

Davies (shoulder) will start Wednesday for Double-A Biloxi, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Davies has been on the disabled list since June 1 due to right rotator cuff inflammation, and he's suffered multiple setbacks during his recovery process. He made his last minor-league start at Triple-A Colorado Springs, and he's set to take the hill for one last appearance before the Brewers make a decision on whether to activate him from the DL.

  • Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Activated, starting vs. Braves

Senzatela (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day disabled list and will start Saturday against Atlanta, Jenny Cavnar of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.

As expected, Senzatela will return from the shelf after missing time due to right shoulder inflammation. He owns a 4.56 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with 37 punchouts over 47.1 innings this season. Pat Valaika was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

  • Jerad Eickhoff SP | PIT

Phillies' Jerad Eickhoff: Two Triple-A starts planned

Eickhoff (lat) will make a rehab start for Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday and then another one next weekend, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic Philadelphia reports.

Eickhoff has been out all year after suffering multiple setbacks while recovering from a preseason lat strain which was initially described as mild. He appears to be finally nearing a return to Philadelphia, as he's expected to throw 75 pitches Sunday, nearly a full starter's workload, putting him on track to return in early September. Exactly what role he'll be in when he returns is not clear. He was projected as a mid-rotation starter for the Phillies before the start of the season, but Nick Pivetta, Vince Velasquez and Zach Eflin have pitched well enough that they seem to have the last three spots in the rotation locked down.

  • Joey Lucchesi RP | LAA

Padres' Joey Lucchesi: Pitching through hand injury

Lucchesi has been pitching through a hand injury suffered in batting practice last month, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

It's unclear when the injury occurred, and Lucchesi didn't discuss what exactly the issue is, but he said it was affecting his grip, particularly of his curveball. The injury could be showing up in his stats, as he has a 5.40 ERA and a 4.0 BB/9 over his last four starts. Without knowing the specific nature or severity of the issue, it's difficult to say when it will go away, though Lucchesi did say that his hand keeps improving, so a trip to the disabled list appears unlikely.

  • Tommy Milone SP | SEA

Nationals' Tommy Milone: Scratched from Saturday's start

Milone will work out of the bullpen Saturday, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.

Milone will cede Saturday's start to Jefry Rodriguez but will be available in relief for the Nats. The team said it will announce a move later in the day to open up a roster spot for Rodriguez, who currently resides on the Triple-A roster.

  • David Peterson SP | CHC

Mets' David Peterson: Finding footing in FSL

Peterson (4-6) picked up the win for High-A St. Lucie in Friday's victory over Dunedin, allowing two hits and three walks over five scoreless innings while striking out five.

The Mets' No. 10 fantasy prospect had a rough beginning to his tenure in the Florida State League after getting promoted in June, but Peterson seems to have figured something out, posting a 1.06 ERA and 20:4 K:BB in 17 innings over his last three starts. The 22-year-old southpaw will likely remain with St. Lucie through the rest of the season, putting him in line for his first crack at the high minors in 2019 and a possible big-league debut in 2020.
