Rich Hill SP | KC
Dodgers' Rich Hill: Exits with apparent finger injury
Hill exited Sunday's start against the Reds in the top of the sixth inning with an apparent finger injury, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. He gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out four in 5.2 innings and left with the Dodgers trailing 3-1.
Of all the pitchers who could leave a start with a finger issue, Hill would probably evoke the least amount of confidence among fantasy owners that the injury may not cost him a start. He missed time already this season with a fingernail issue and has famously missed chunks of time with blisters in the past. His status will be updated as the team announces the exact nature of the injury.

Kyle Hendricks SP | LAA
Cubs' Kyle Hendricks: Baseline quality start in loss
Hendricks gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits and zero walks while striking out six in six innings Sunday against the White Sox, taking his third loss of the year.
He took a 3-2 lead into the sixth inning but allowed two more runs to score in the sixth before finishing the frame. As is typically the case for Hendricks, throwing strikes was not an issue, but the White Sox made their hits count in this one. Hendricks now has four straight quality starts (six on the year) but has gone 2-2 over that stretch. He next projects to take the hill Friday in Cincinnati.

Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Removed after shaky first inning
DeGrom was removed as a precaution from Sunday's game against the Phillies after just one inning, Matt Ehalt of The Bergen Record reports.
DeGrom took the mound following a one-hour rain delay and immediately walked the first three batters he faced. He was able to work his way out of the jam by retiring the next three hitters, but manager Mickey Callaway opted to remove deGrom after the inning as a precaution with the hurler's pitch count sitting at 45. It doesn't sound like he suffered any sort of setback, so deGrom should be able to make his next start Saturday against the Diamondbacks.

Adam Wainwright SP | STL
Cardinals' Adam Wainwright: Officially activated from DL
Wainwright (elbow) was activated from the 10-day disabled list prior to his Sunday start against the Padres.
Wainwright is set to return to the mound after missing the past three and a half weeks with elbow inflammation. He'll take on a Padres team that ranks in the bottom quarter of the league in nearly all hitting categories.

Zach Davies SP | WAS
Brewers' Zach Davies: Plays catch Sunday
Davies (shoulder) will play catch Sunday for the second straight day, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Davies is on the disabled list with shoulder inflammation. If he's able to throw with no apparent setbacks Sunday, he'll advance to throwing off a mound in the coming days. His timeline for return is still a bit foggy, but manager Craig Counsell doesn't expect Davies to return during the team's current road trip that concludes May 20, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. With Davies unavailable during the upcoming week, Brandon Woodruff will line up for another start Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Jameson Taillon SP | TOR
Pirates' Jameson Taillon: Plays catch Sunday
Taillon (finger) is scheduled to play catch Sunday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
Taillon was lifted from Friday's game with a finger laceration on his right hand. He'll play catch Sunday to see how the finger is feeling after a full day of healing. An update on his potential availability for his upcoming start should become available following the throwing session. It doesn't sound like the laceration is overly debilitating, as Taillon is hopeful that he'll be able to take the mound on Wednesday against the White Sox, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic Pittsburgh reports.

Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Returns to mound Sunday
DeGrom (elbow) was activated from the 10-day disabled list prior to his Sunday start against the Phillies, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
DeGrom ended up missing just one start after suffering a hyperextended right elbow in his May 2 outing against the Braves. He'll slot back into the Mets' rotation and look to build on his superb 1.87 ERA. He can be deployed into fantasy lineups with confidence.

Zach Eflin SP | BAL
Phillies' Zach Eflin: Won't start Sunday
Eflin will be passed over for the start Sunday against the Mets with Aaron Nola set to take the hill for the Phillies, Tim Britton of The Athletic New York reports.
Eflin's scheduled start Saturday was postponed due to poor weather in Philadelphia, but rather than pushing the right-hander back a day in the pitching schedule, manager Gabe Kapler has opted to start Nola on normal rest in the series finale. It's unclear whether Eflin's turn through the rotation will be skipped entirely or if he'll be back on the mound for the Phillies' next contest Tuesday against the Orioles on Baltimore. More clarity on the Phillies' rotation plans should come forth later Sunday.

Aaron Nola SP | PHI
Phillies' Aaron Nola: Remains in line for Sunday start
Nola will remain on his normal pitching schedule and start Sunday's game against the Mets, Tim Britton of The Athletic New York reports.
After Saturday's game in Philadelphia was postponed due to inclement weather, it wasn't certain whether manager Gabe Kapler would push Zach Eflin and the rest of the rotation back a day in the schedule or turn to Nola for the series finale, as had been originally planned. It appears the Phillies have officially settled on Nola, who turned in perhaps his best start of the season his last time out Tuesday against the Giants, striking out 12 over seven innings of one-run ball.

Ross Stripling SP | KC
Dodgers' Ross Stripling: Strikes out seven in no-decision
Stripling allowed two runs on six hits while striking out seven over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against the Reds on Saturday. He did not walk a batter,
One of the two runs charged to Stripling scored after he exited the game in the top of the sixth -- after Stripling allowed a single, J.T. Chargois gave up a homer to the second batter he faced. Stripling now has a 2.20 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 31:9 K:BB in 28.2 innings this season, and it looks like he will get another start next weekend in Washington with Clayton Kershaw (biceps) still not throwing off a mound.
