Alex Wood RP | ATH
Dodgers' Alex Wood: Will start Tuesday
Wood will have his next start against the Athletics on Tuesday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
The Dodgers have Monday and Thursday off and are bumping Wood's start up a day while shifting Kenta Maeda to the bullpen for the week. The 27-year-old Wood has started the season well with a 1.93 ERA and 0.50 WHIP over 14 innings, recording 10 strikeouts.

Yu Darvish SP | SD
Cubs' Yu Darvish: Pitches well Saturday
Darvish allowed just one run over six innings in a no-decision Saturday against the Brewers. He gave up two hits and a walk while striking out nine.
The only blemish for Darvish was a solo homer hit by Eric Thames in the fourth inning, as he dominated for most of the afternoon. Unfortunately for Darvish and his fantasy owners, Milwaukee starter Zach Davies was just as stingy, which kept Darvish from being able to grab his first win in a Cubs uniform. He'll next take the mound Friday against the Braves, and if he pitches like this again, he'll have a great opportunity to get into the win column.

Kenta Maeda SP | NYY
Dodgers' Kenta Maeda: Returns to bullpen
Maeda will return to the Dodgers' bullpen for the next week, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Maeda was scheduled to start Friday against the Giants, but the game was postponed due to rain, and given the Dodgers have a pair of off days next week, he will return to a bullpen role for the time being. The 29-year-old pitched well as a reliever for Los Angeles in 2017 and may not have another start until the series at San Diego, which begins April 16.

Michael Wacha SP | KC
Cardinals' Michael Wacha: Shaky control in Saturday's win
Wacha (1-1) picked up the win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, giving up two runs on four hits and five walks over five innings while striking out five.
The right-hander allowed baserunners in every inning and threw only 48 of his 89 pitches for strikes, but Wacha was able to minimize the damage and notch his first win of the season. He now has a 7:7 K:BB through his first 9.2 innings, a ratio that will need to improve significantly if he's going to lower his 5.59 ERA. Wacha will next take the mound Thursday in Cincinnati.

Zack Greinke SP | KC
Diamondbacks' Zack Greinke: Cut down by Cards on Saturday
Greinke (0-1) took the loss against the Cardinals on Saturday, allowing five runs on nine hits over five innings while striking out five.
The big blow was a three-run shot by Jose Martinez in the third inning, but Greinke wasn't sharp from the jump. The weather may have played a part -- it was the coldest game in St. Louis since 1961 -- and the veteran right-hander still has a stellar 14:0 K:BB through his first 10.2 innings on the season, so there's no reason to overreact to one bad outing. Greinke will next take the mound Friday on the road against the Dodgers.

Johnny Cueto SP | LAA
Giants' Johnny Cueto: Good to go following ankle injury
Cueto (ankle) is good to go, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic Bay Area reports.
Cueto tweaked his ankle during Wednesday's game against the Mariners, though he remained in the game. He's expected to be fine for his next start, currently expected to come Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Steven Matz RP | TB
Mets' Steven Matz: Strikes out eight in five innings
Matz struck out eight over five innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Saturday. He allowed just one unearned run on three hits and two walks.
It was a strong performance for Matz, who successfully navigated a tough Nationals lineup. The only run he gave up came after an error, a sacrifice bunt and a single, and he did not allow a single extra-base hit. The only real negative in his performance was that he allowed four stolen bases, though none of them ended up hurting the Mets. It was a promising outing for the 26-year-old lefty following his disappointing first start against the Cardinals. He now has a 3.00 ERA with 12 strikeouts and five walks over nine innings.

Brandon Woodruff SP | MIL
Brewers' Brandon Woodruff: Optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs
Woodruff was sent down to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
In a corresponding move, the Brewers also called up J.J. Hoover and designated Tyler Webb for assignment. Woodruff only lasted 3.2 innings during Friday's start against the Cubs, allowing two earned runs off four hits and two walks while striking out three. It remains to be seen whether the club will call up Junior Guerra or elect to give a start to one of its bullpen arms for Wednesday's start against the Cardinals, which would have been Woodruff's next appearance. Either way, expect to see Woodruff back in the big leagues in the near future.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Dodgers' Rich Hill: Confirmed for Saturday's start
Hill will take the mound against the Giants on Saturday, Chris Haft of MLB.com reports.
Following Friday's rainout, manager Dave Roberts elected to skip Kenta Maeda's turn in the rotation and keep Rich Hill on the rubber for Saturday's game. Hill faced the Giants during his first start of the season last weekend, going six scoreless innings while picking up a win. He projects to make his next start against Arizona on Friday following his outing against San Francisco.

Mike Soroka SP | ARI
Braves' Mike Soroka: Sparkles in Triple-A debut
Soroka (1-0) tossed five scoreless innings in his debut for Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday, scattering three hits and a walk while striking out five in a win over Norfolk.
The right-hander's march up the ladder in the Braves' organization has been relentless, and his first exposure to hitters at the highest level of the minors was apparently no more of a challenge than any of his other stops. Soroka won't turn 21 until August and isn't yet on the 40-man roster, so it's tough to project him for a big-league debut in 2018, but if he keeps pitching like this, Atlanta could be sorely tempted to find room for him in its rotation in the second half.
