  • Cardinals' Adam Wainwright: Earns 10th win Saturday

Wainwright (10-5) allowed one run on five hits while striking out seven over 6.2 innings in a win over the Mets on Saturday. He did not issue a walk.

Jay Bruce's homer in the seventh inning accounted for all of the damage against Wainwright. The 35-year-old struggled at home against the Marlins his last time out, giving up six runs over five innings, but he's been quite good otherwise while pitching at Busch Stadium (7-1 record, 3.19 ERA over 59.1 innings this season). Most of Wainwright's struggles have come on the road (8.36 ERA).

  • Reds' Anthony DeSclafani: Throws bullpen Friday

DeSclafani (elbow) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session Friday that included all of his pitches, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

This was Disco's third bullpen workout since returning to baseball activities following a sprained UCL in spring training. He tested his full pitch mix -- curveball, slider, changeup and fastball -- from a mound for the first time in his rehab. He's still on track for a return to the beleaguered Reds staff sometime in August, though the rebuilding club may not push him much for the rest of the year, which may limit his short-term fantasy potential.

  • Johnny Cueto SP | LAA

Giants' Johnny Cueto: Set for Sunday start

Cueto (ear) will start Sunday in place of Matt Cain, Andrew Baggarly of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

They'll throw the ace against Miami to squeeze in an extra outing from him before the first half ends, perhaps with the intent of showcasing him for an upcoming trade. Cueto was scratched from his Thursday assignment with an inner-ear infection. His revised schedule downgrades the outlook for some of the Marlins bats.

  • Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Feeling OK after comebacker to hip

Strasburg said he's feeling OK after a batted ball hit him on the hip Saturday and he still expects to be available for the All-Star Game, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.

The right-hander allowed six runs (three earned) over only three innings against the Braves. Despite the fact that Dusty Baker said Strasburg came out of the game due to injury, per Janes, the hurler doesn't appear to have suffered a significant physical setback. Strasburg wrapped up an excellent first half that saw him compile a 3.43 ERA with a 9-3 record, a 10.2 K/9 and a 2.6 BB/9 across 18 starts. The Nats should provide an update on whether Stras will pitch in the All-Star Game.

  • Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Roughed up in Saturday defeat

Strasburg (9-3) allowed six runs, three of which were earned, on seven hits and two walks across three innings to take the loss Saturday against the Braves.

Strasburg gave up a pair of runs in the second inning before getting lit up for four more in the next frame to force his early exit from the contest. Although he has a solid 3.43 ERA, he's allowed six runners to cross the plate in three of his last six outings.

  • Julio Teheran SP | BAL

Braves' Julio Teheran: Fires seven shutout innings in Saturday win

Teheran (7-6) allowed no runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five across seven innings to earn the win Saturday against the Nationals.

Teheran was provided a 6-0 lead after three innings and easily coasted to his seventh victory of the campaign. He's now had two consecutive solid starts, but he also owns a 4.79 ERA, and based on some of the horrendous outings he's had this year, he still remains as a fantasy option with significant risk.

  • Ben Lively SP | CLE

Phillies' Ben Lively: Optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley

Lively was sent down to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

Lively was only able to last four innings during his start against Pittsburgh on Wednesday, allowing four runs on five hits and a walk. With Jerad Eickhoff (back) coming off the DL for Sunday's start, Lively will wind up as the casualty and will head back down to Triple-A. The right-hander is likely going to return to the Phillies in the near future, as his 3.80 ERA and 1.38 WHIP show that the 25-year-old can carve out a role in the majors.

  • Aaron Nola SP | PHI

Phillies' Aaron Nola: Fans nine in Saturday defeat

Nola (6-6) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out nine across eight innings to take the loss Saturday against the Padres.

Nola had a shutout going until giving up a pair of runs in the seventh inning, but the offense was only able to provide a single run of support, leading to his sixth loss of the season. He's allowed just five runs over his last four starts to lower his ERA from 4.76 to 3.59.

  • Justin Dunn RP | CHW

Mets' Justin Dunn: Struggling at High-A

    Dunn, 21, has a 4.74 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 49:34 K:BB in 68.1 innings for High-A St. Lucie.

The Mets jumped last year's 19th overall pick from short-season ball to High-A, and thus far the results have not been great. His lack of control is particularly concerning for a college arm in the lower levels of the minors. There are plenty of electric arms that are producing at Low-A and High-A, so Dunn's lack of performance is hurting his stock.

  • Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Optioned to Triple-A on Saturday

Senzatela was sent down to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports.

Senzatela will head down to Triple-A as the team continues to manage the 22-year-old's workload. It sounds as though the right-hander will start a game for Albuquerque on July 13 before returning to the big-league rotation five days later. Left-hander Zac Rosscup was called up in a corresponding move.
