Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Dominates Phillies on Friday
DeGrom (8-3) allowed only one run on three hits and a walk while striking out 12 over seven innings in Friday's 2-1 win over the Phillies.
It was vintage deGrom, as he threw 71 of 111 pitches for strikes and won his fourth straight game despite a lack of run support from the Mets while fanning double-digit batters for the sixth time in 16 starts. He'll carry a 3.55 ERA into his next outing Wednesday on the road against the Nationals.

Ben Lively SP | CLE
Phillies' Ben Lively: Quality start in Friday's loss
Lively (1-3) allowed two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out two over 6.1 innings in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Mets.
He gutted out a solid effort despite some control issues, and there's no shame in being outdueled by Jacob deGrom. He's now given the Phillies a quality start in five of his first six big-league outings, but his 3.72 ERA is probably due for some regression given his woeful 13:12 K:BB in 39 innings. The 25-year-old will next take the mound Wednesday at home against the Pirates.

Chase Anderson RP | TEX
Brewers' Chase Anderson: Likely to need more than a month
Anderson (oblique) will likely miss more than a month, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.
Anderson went down with the oblique injury in the second inning of his start Wednesday against Cincinnati. The main issue for Anderson is that he'll likely need a long rehab assignment, and as such, it's entirely possible his absence will extend into August. Jorge Lopez will take over his rotation spot for now.

Jon Gray SP | TEX
Rockies' Jon Gray: Activated from DL on Friday
Gray (foot) was activated from the disabled list prior to his start Friday against the Diamondbacks, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Gray has been out since mid-April while dealing with a left big toe injury. The right-hander is ready to make his return for Friday's series opener after tossing 13 innings (three appearances) of rehab work over the course of the last two weeks. It wouldn't come as a shock if the Rockies monitored Gray's pitch count, especially after he went only five innings during his longest rehab appearance.
-
Kyle Hendricks SP | LAA
Cubs' Kyle Hendricks: Tosses from 120 feet
Hendricks (hand) progressed to 120 feet during his rehab Friday, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.
The key aspect of this development lies within the fact that Hendricks remained pain-free, and he should head out on a rehab assignment during the next two weeks, likely around the time of the All-Star break, assuming he can complete a few bullpen sessions without suffering any setbacks. Moving forward, Hendricks could be throwing off the mound by the middle of next week, with a clear timetable coming into focus soon.

Sammy Solis SP | SD
Nationals' Sammy Solis: Transferred to 60-day DL
Solis (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Friday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.com reports.
Solis was placed on the DL back in April, so the procedural move allows the Nationals to free up a spot on their 40-man roster. The southpaw has been on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse over the past two weeks, where he's racked up an unappealing 8.10 ERA over just 6.2 innings and owns a .269 BAA, so a call to the majors may be put on hold until the team deems him ready.
-
Rob Scahill SP | CHW
Brewers' Rob Scahill: Called up Friday
Scahill's contract was selected by the Brewers on Friday.
Scahill has tossed 17.2 innings for Milwaukee this season, posting a 3.57 ERA with a 1.42 WHIP during his time on the mound. The 30-year-old was cast off the 40-man roster in the middle of June and was outrighted to Triple-A Colorado Springs after passing through waivers. He will likely only spend a few days with the Brewers, as the team is seemingly shuffling between relievers every day now.

Clayton Kershaw SP | LAD
Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Notches MLB best 12th win
Kershaw (12-2) allowed one run (unearned) on three hits and two walks while striking out 12 over seven innings in Thursday's win over the Angels.
The Dodgers' ace was at it again, as he worked around an unearned run to grab his league-leading 12th win of the season. Aside from a rough outing against the Mets, Kershaw has been stellar in June; he's notched six quality starts in seven tries and has a 2.23 ERA and 57:10 K:BB ratio over 40.1 innings. He's set to make his next start Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, which could line him up for another start before the Sunday before the All-Star break.

Jose Urena SP | LAA
Marlins' Jose Urena: Hurt by error in loss to Mets
Urena (6-3) took a home loss to the Mets on Thursday after allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits over six innings. He struck out four.
After Urena let the Mets score a pair in the opening frame, an inning-opening throwing error by J.T. Riddle in the third ended up leading to a three-run rally that left little question about this game's outcome. It's been an indubitably successful season for Urena to this point, as his 3.42 ERA and 1.23 WHIP are much more credible fantasy stats than were expected from him. However, the 25-year-old is reminiscent of former Marlins pitcher Nate Eovaldi -- a hard thrower who struggles to generate strikeouts. Urena has a meager 5.7 K/9 and a slightly high 3.2 BB/9, which isn't promising at all, especially in combination with a fortune-favored .249 BABIP. It's not a bad idea to sell high on his decent ratios before regression raises them.
-
Seth Lugo SP | KC
Mets' Seth Lugo: Goes six, comes away with third win
Lugo (3-1) held the Marlins to three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over six innings Thursday, striking out four in a 6-3 victory.
With the Mets' rotation banged up, Lugo's return from injury has been huge, as he's delivered steady (if certainly unspectacular) work on the mound. The sophomore righty doesn't have much in the way of swing-and-miss stuff, but he's a capable arm for the back end of a rotation. Lugo's effectively the Mets' No. 3 starter right now, which is certainly not ideal for them, but fantasy owners in deeper leagues can squeeze some value out of him.
