Robbie Ray SP | SD
Diamondbacks' Robbie Ray: Turns in mediocre outing against Phillies
Ray allowed four runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out seven batters through 5.1 innings during Sunday's win over Philadelphia. He didn't factor into the decision.
Ray is establishing himself as a high-end fantasy asset with a 2.87 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 11.7 K/9 and an admirable offense providing run support. He obviously wasn't at his best Sunday, but Ray had allowed just a single run through 37 innings over his previous five starts, so a small bump in the road isn't concerning. The lefty lines up to face the Phillies again in his next start, but that upcoming bout will be at Chase Field.

Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Goes eight strong innings in win over Nationals
DeGrom (6-3) surrendered one unearned run over eight innings in Sunday's win over the Nationals, allowing three hits and two walks with six strikeouts.
DeGrom encountered a bit of bad luck in the first inning, allowing a run after an error and a passed ball put Brian Goodwin in position to score in a sacrifice fly. He settled down to great effect thereafter, allowing just three singles and a pair of walks over the following seven frames. This stellar outing for deGrom came on the heels of a complete game victory over the Cubs earlier in the week -- an excellent way to rebound after he had allowed 15 runs across eight innings in his two previous starts. The right-hander's ERA has been trimmed down to a more tolerable 3.94 for the season, and he will look to continue his dominance in a favorable matchup against the Giants on Friday.

Kenta Maeda SP | NYY
Dodgers' Kenta Maeda: Throws five solid innings in win over Reds
Maeda (5-3) allowed one run on three hits and one walk across five innings in Sunday's win over the Reds. He struck out five.
Maeda didn't allow a baserunner until the fourth inning, when he loaded the bags before hitting a batter to plate the only run on his ledger. He was quite sharp for the most part, throwing 69 percent of his pitches for strikes, including 12 in swinging fashion. Maeda's previous appearance came out of the bullpen after he had been inconsistent as a starter, but he has looked much better over the last two outings, allowing just two runs with 11 strikeouts compared to one walk across nine innings. The 29-year-old is not currently scheduled to make another start in the immediate future, but his role could be fluid moving forward.

Jose Urena SP | LAA
Marlins' Jose Urena: Tosses quality start
Urena allowed two runs on three hits over six innings Sunday during the the Marlins' loss to the Braves. He struck out four, walked two and did not factor into the decision.
Urena blanked the Braves for the first six innings before they finally got to him in the seventh. The right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.64 and completed the sixth for the second straight time. He now has not been on the losing side of a decision in more than a month, with his last loss coming on May 17, but has allowed 19 runs in those six starts (30.1 innings).

Patrick Corbin SP | TOR
Diamondbacks' Patrick Corbin: Misses out on Coors Field start
Manager Torey Lovullo said that Corbin will have his start previously scheduled for Thursday against the Rockies pushed back to Friday against the Phillies at home, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.
Lovullo has opted to shuffle his rotation in order to prevent Corbin from having to pitch in the difficult environment that is Coors Field. Over the past two seasons, Corbin has allowed 16 earned runs over 10.1 innings at Coors. It's expected that Zack Godley will instead move up in the schedule to start the series finale against the Rockies, while Corbin benefits from a more favorable matchup versus a Phillies squad he limited to four runs (two earned) on five hits and no walks over six innings in a victory Friday at Citizens Bank Park.

Seth Lugo SP | KC
Mets' Seth Lugo: Logs another quality start
Lugo gave up four runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 6.2 innings Saturday against the Nationals.
It was a very strong outing, save for a pair of long balls surrendered to Trea Turner and Jose Lobaton in the first and second inning, respectively. He has logged quality starts in each of his two starts this season, and sports an 11:4 K:BB in 13.2 innings. Lugo has appeal in standard leagues, and can even be trotted out in shallow formats for the right matchup. One such matchup will come Friday in San Francisco.

Stephen Strasburg SP | WAS
Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Gets win despite inefficiency
Strasburg gave up two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings Saturday against the Mets.
He improved to 8-2 despite not having his best stuff, laboring over 106 pitches (68 strikes) before turning it over to the bullpen. Strasburg's season numbers are still comfortably in SP1 territory, and he will look to put forth a more dominant effort Friday at home against the Reds.

Kyle Hendricks SP | LAA
Cubs' Kyle Hendricks: Uncertain to return before All-Star break
Hendricks (hand) admitted Saturday that he's uncertain if he'll be able to return from the 10-day disabled list before the All-Star break, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports. "We're basically in a waiting game now until I'm asymptomatic," Hendricks said. "I'm just coming in every day, and it has to be any one of these days. Hopefully this week I become asymptomatic, and we can go with the throwing program from there. The throwing program wouldn't be too long, since I was already in season."
Hendricks recently underwent a second MRI on his stiff hand that revealed no new information, so the right-hander will simply have to let the pain subside before he resumes playing catch. While Hendricks won't need much time to ramp up once he's cleared to throw again, the uncertain return timeline may make it difficult to justify holding him in shallower formats with limited bench spots.

Hyun-Jin Ryu SP | TOR
Dodgers' Hyun-Jin Ryu: Picks up third win Saturday
Ryu (3-6) held the Reds to two runs on eight hits while striking out seven in a 10-2 win Saturday.
The veteran southpaw danced around 10 baserunners to escape with a solid pitching line and his third win of the season. Ryu did a good job of staying away from the heart of the plate after giving up four home runs over his previous two starts. With the Dodgers deploying a six-man rotation, the 30-year-old's next outing won't come until next Friday against the Rockies. Luckily for his fantasy owners, the game comes at home and not at Coors Field, keeping him in the conversation as a viable option in deeper formats.

Chase Anderson RP | TEX
Brewers' Chase Anderson: Tosses another strong outing in no-decision
Anderson allowed three runs on five hits and struck out six batters over seven innings in a no-decision against the Padres on Saturday.
Anderson has allowed just four runs in 34.2 innings over his last five starts and owns a high-end 2.92 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 8.3 K/9 for the campaign. The 29-year-old righty is in the midst of a career year, and his 3.39 FIP highlights everything he's doing on the mound is sustainable. A home date with the Pirates is up next for Anderson.
