Dollander (2-4) took the loss Monday at Texas, yielding two runs on one hit and three walks over six innings. He struck out seven.

The Colorado rookie produced his best outing of the season, collecting his first quality start and matching his previous high with seven punchouts. Dollander stymied the Rangers until the sixth inning when Wyatt Langford cracked a two-run homer to give Texas the lead. Through 34 innings, Dollander sports a 6.88 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 32:16 K:BB. He looks to build upon this performance in his next start, currently scheduled to be at Arizona this weekend.

Quantrill (2-4) took the loss Monday against the Cubs, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over 4.1 innings with one strikeout.

The Miami right-hander was cruising through four scoreless innings before unraveling in the fifth during this 83-pitch effort. In the fifth frame, Quantrill conceded three runs on three hits, including a Dansby Swanson two-run long ball. Across 36 total innings, Quantrill has pitched to an unsightly 7.00 ERA and 1.72 WHIP while failing to earn a quality start in any of his eight outings. He currently lines up to make his next start against the Cubs again but at home next week.

Rea (3-0) earned the win Monday versus the Marlins, conceding two runs on six hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out four.

The veteran right-hander looked sharp against a weak Miami lineup, tossing 57 strikes out of 98 total pitches. The only blemish on Rea's outing came in the seventh inning when Derek Hill popped a two-run homer to chase the Chicago starter from the game. Rea now owns a 2.48 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB across 36.1 innings. His solid performance should continue to keep him in the rotation, with his next turn currently slated to be against the White Sox at home this weekend.

Irvin did not factor into Monday's decision against Atlanta, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out one over six innings.

Irvin put Washington behind after giving up two runs in the third inning before yielding a solo homer to Marcell Ozuna in the fifth. It was the fourth time this season that Irvin gave up seven hits or more, but he was able to limit the damage to three runs and came away with his fourth quality start of the season. He has a 4.00 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 34:16 K:BB across 54 innings this year, and his next start is slated for this weekend on the road against the Orioles.

Holmes allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out four over 6.1 innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Monday.

Holmes faced the minimum number of batters through the first three innings and his only blemish came in the fourth frame, when he yielded a solo home run to James Wood. Holmes recorded nine groundouts while generating 11 whiffs on 79 pitches (49 strikes) en route to his third quality start of the season. He has a 4.17 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 44:21 K:BB across 45.1 innings, and he's lined up to face the Red Sox on the road this weekend.

Quintana (shoulder) said Monday that he's feeling better and plans to throw a bullpen session Wednesday ahead of Friday's scheduled start versus the Twins, Sophia Minnaert of FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin reports.

Quintana felt left shoulder soreness following his last outing against the Rays, which resulted in the Brewers pushing the southpaw's next scheduled start back from Wednesday to Friday. While the Brewers believe giving Quintana a couple extra days of rest will be enough for him to overcome the shoulder issue, the club won't officially clear him until he throws a bullpen session Wednesday and recovers well from it Thursday.

Strider (hamstring) is scheduled to throw 70-to-75 pitches in a simulated game Wednesday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

The upcoming sim game takes Strider out of the running from returning from the 15-day injured list this week, but if all goes well Wednesday, he could bypass a minor-league rehab start and rejoin the Atlanta rotation for the start of their series in Washington that begins May 20. After making a speedy recovery from the internal brace procedure he underwent on his right elbow last spring, Strider tossed five innings in his 2025 debut for Atlanta on April 16, then went back on the IL five days later after straining his right hamstring while playing catch.

Woodruff (shoulder) won't be reinstated from the 15-day injured list this week as initially hoped after experiencing right ankle tendinitis during his rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Nashville, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

After he hadn't pitched in the big leagues since September 2023 while recovering from right shoulder surgery, Woodruff looked on track to rejoin the Milwaukee rotation this week after completing his sixth minor-league rehab start over the weekend. However, with Woodruff now battling tendinitis in his ankle, he'll receive treatment over the next week and will then need to make another rehab start before Milwaukee determines whether he's fit to return from the IL or needs more time in the minors.

The Brewers have pushed Quintana's next scheduled start back to Friday against the Twins after he experienced some upper left arm soreness following his most recent outing last Friday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Quintana had been slated to take the ball Wednesday against the Guardians, but the Brewers will either call up a pitcher from Triple-A to start that game or treat the series finale in Cleveland as a bullpen day. The two extra days of rest are expected to be enough for the veteran southpaw to fully move past the arm issue, so he shouldn't face any workload restrictions when he returns to the mound Friday.

The Brewers returned Woodruff (shoulder) from his rehab assignment Monday, but he remains on the 15-day injured list due to right ankle tendinitis, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The ankle injury popped up prior to what was expected to be Woodruff's final rehab start with Triple-A Nashville on Sunday. He went only 2.1 innings in that outing, although the team indicated that the abbreviated start was by design. Woodruff had been expected to be activated from the 15-day IL to rejoin the Milwaukee rotation this weekend against the Twins, but the ankle issue could put those plans on hold. Woodruff is coming back from capsule surgery on his right shoulder and has not pitched in an MLB game since September 2023.
