Crochet (3-2) got the win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six in seven innings.

Crochet was dominant outside of one troubling inning in the third, during which he gave up a double to Bo Bichette followed by a two-run homer to Vladimir Guerrero. Crochet went on to allow just one base hit the rest of the way and recorded his third start this season of at least seven innings. His command has been a bit shaky lately with eight walks over his last two starts, but Crochet still dons a stellar 2.05 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 50:18 K:BB in 44 innings. He lines up to complete a two-start week at home against Minnesota this weekend.

Smith-Shawver (1-2) left Tuesday's start against the Rockies after being hit in the right arm by a line drive, Owen Perkins of MLB.com reports. He picked up the win after allowing two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out five in 5.1 innings.

Smith-Shawver was in a rhythm before his night ended, pouring in 46 of his 59 pitches for strikes, and he gave up a season-low four hits and one walk. "It got the meaty part of my arm, so we'll see what happens [Wednesday]," Smith-Shawver said following the contest. "But for right now, I'm feeling pretty good." It sounds like there's a chance the right-hander's exit was precautionary, given Atlanta was leading 7-1 at the time of his departure. Smith-Shawver holds a 4.26 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 22:9 K:BB over 19 innings in 2025, and he can be deemed day-to-day for the time being. His next start tentatively lines up for next week at home versus the Reds.

Paddack didn't factor in the decision Tuesday at Cleveland after allowing one run on four hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out two.

Paddack generated just four swinging strikes on 76 pitches, but the only real damage against him came on a solo homer by Bo Naylor during the third inning. The right-hander has given up just five earned runs across his past five four starts and has gone exactly five frames in each of those outings, but he's marred by an 0-3 record. He's pitching better of late, but Paddack still has an inflated 5.60 ERA for the season since he surrendered nine runs in his season debut.

Bibee didn't factor in the decision Tuesday against the Twins despite giving up one run on five hits and no walks across seven innings. He struck out five.

The right-hander had little trouble dispatching Minnesota outside the fifth inning, which is when Ty France knotted the game 1-1 with a solo homer. Bibee threw 64 of 92 pitches for strikes, and the improved command was a welcome sight with it being the first time through six starts this year that he didn't walk a batter. The long ball continues to be a concern as he's already given up nine homers, but Bibee is trending up with just three runs allowed in his past two starts.

Blubaugh will start Wednesday's game against the Tigers, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Blubaugh was added to Houston's taxi squad Tuesday while the team debated on relying on its bullpen or a spot starter Wednesday to give Hayden Wesneski a couple of extra days to rest. The Astros opted for the latter, creating an opportunity for the 24-year-old righty to make his MLB debut. Blubaugh has turned in a 3.86 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 21 innings at Triple-A Sugar Land this season, and he'll be welcomed to the majors by the American League's fourth-highest scoring offense.

Marquez (0-5) took the loss Tuesday against Atlanta after allowing seven runs on 11 hits and one walk in 5.1 innings. He struck out one.

It's been a miserable stretch for Marquez, who has given up a whopping 25 runs over his last four starts. He got just five whiffs over his 86 pitches Tuesday, and his 11 hits allowed established a season worst. The veteran right-hander's expiring contract makes him a logical trade candidate later this summer, and he's struggled mightily in his 10th season in Colorado. Marquez will take a 9.82 ERA, 2.06 WHIP and 15:12 K:BB over 25.2 innings into a tough matchup against the Giants, currently projected for this weekend in San Francisco.

Olson (3-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Astros after allowing three runs on four hits and three walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.

En route to matching a season high with seven punchouts, Olson induced an outstanding 18 whiffs Tuesday. However, he tied a season worst in walks, and the hurler's three runs allowed were his most since he gave up four in the April 11 game against the Twins. Through his first 33 innings of the campaign, Olson owns a solid 3.55 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 32:14 K:BB. The right-hander has also yielded just one home run in six starts in 2025, but his ability to keep the ball in the yard will be tested in his next scheduled start against the Angels, who entered Tuesday ranked fifth in MLB in homers (39) as a team.

DeGrom (1-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Athletics after allowing four hits and no walks in six scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

The two-time Cy Young Award winner found himself in vintage form Tuesday, producing 16 whiffs while delivering his first scoreless outing since his first start of the season. While he did toss a season-low 65 pitches, the oft-injured deGrom's reduced workload was likely a byproduct of the Rangers taking a commanding 12-0 lead in the sixth inning. After a shaky first three starts of the year, during which he conceded four homers, the right-hander has a sparkling 1.47 ERA and 20:1 K:BB over his last three appearances (18.1 innings). DeGrom's next start is set to come this weekend at home against the hard-hitting Mariners, who entered Tuesday ranked third in MLB in home runs (42).

Heaney (2-2) allowed four runs on five hits and three walks over 4.2 innings while taking a loss against the Cubs on Tuesday. He did not record a strikeout.

Heaney worked through three scoreless frames before things turned south. Carson Kelly knocked a two-run shot in the fourth inning, and Pete Crow-Armstrong hit a two-run homer in the fifth. Heaney had given up just one home run through 31.1 innings entering Tuesday's outing. His shortest start of the season bumped his ERA up to 2.50 with a 31:9 K:BB through 36 innings. Heaney is lined up to face the Padres at home this weekend.

Gibson (0-1) took the loss against the Yankees on Tuesday, allowing nine runs on 11 hits and two walks while striking out two over 3.2 innings.

Gibson spent the first six weeks of the season getting stretched out in extended spring training and the minors after signing a one-year deal with the Orioles on March 21. His first outing of the year couldn't have gotten off to a worse start, as the 37-year-old gave up three-straight home runs in the first inning before yielding a fourth to Cody Bellinger in the same frame. Gibson was mercifully pulled in the fourth inning after giving up a two-run double, tossing 73 pitches (44 strikes) with seven whiffs in his 2025 debut. He'll look to rebound in his next start, tentatively slated for next week on the road against the Twins.
