The Twins are expected to activate Lopez (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list to have him make a start during their weekend series versus the Angels in Minnesota, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Though Lopez is eligible to come off the IL for Thursday's series finale versus the White Sox, the Twins are listing Chris Paddack as their scheduled starter for that day, which implies that Lopez won't be activated until at least Friday. Lopez looked sharp in his lone rehab start with Triple-A St. Paul this past Saturday, covering 4.2 innings and striking out four batters while allowing one earned run on three hits and no walks.

Bubic did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's win over the Rockies, allowing just four hits and striking out six over seven scoreless innings. He did not issue a walk.

Bubic lowered his ERA to 1.45, which is currently ninth best in all of baseball. He racked up 14 whiffs and was all over the strike zone with 62 strikes on 91 pitches. Tuesday marked the first time he's reached seven innings since the 2022 season. Bubic will have a chance to complete a two-start week when he takes on the Astros this weekend.

Bido (2-2) took the loss Tuesday as the A's fell 8-5 to the Rangers, surrendering eight runs on eight hits -- including four home runs -- and three walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out two.

The right-hander came into the night having served up just one long ball in his first four starts, but Bido was victimized by his home park Tuesday, as Sutter Health Park continues to be very hitter-friendly. He has yet to last six innings in any of his five trips to the mound this season, hurting his fantasy value in formats that use quality starts, and his 4.85 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 16:10 K:BB through 26 innings aren't very appealing either. Bido will look to rebound in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the White Sox.

Feltner allowed one run on three hits and a walk while striking out four over seven innings in Tuesday's loss to the Royals. He did not factor into the decision.

Feltner faced one over the minimum through five innings and was locked into a scoreless pitchers' duel with Kris Bubic. That ended in the bottom of the sixth when Drew Waters led off with a solo home run. Still, Feltner turned in his first start of seven innings since July 21 of last year and it was his second quality start in his last three outings. He'll aim to pick up his first win of the season in a home meeting against the Reds this weekend.

Corbin (2-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 8-5 victory over the A's, giving up two runs on seven hits and two walks over five-plus innings. He struck out four.

The 35-year-old lefty tossed 85 pitches (57 strikes) as he continues to give an injury-thinned Texas rotation surprisingly solid innings. Through three starts, Corbin has a 3.77 ERA, but his 1.53 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB are bright red flags that he's still the same pitcher that was saddled with a 5.71 ERA over the prior four seasons with the Nationals. With Kumar Rocker beginning to come around, the Rangers could have a tough choice to make once Jack Leiter (finger) is ready to return from the IL.

Martin (1-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins, allowing two runs (zero earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out three in five innings.

Martin allowed a season-low three hits, all singles. Fielding errors in the second and third innings helped the Twins push across two runs, but Martin was able to post his third start of the season of at least five innings and one earned run or fewer allowed. He has a 3.95 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 16:9 K:BB in 27.1 innings thus far and will aim to get back in the win column this weekend against the Athletics.

Hicks (1-3) took the loss Tuesday as the Giants were routed 11-3 by the Brewers, coughing up six runs (five earned) on eight hits and three walks over five-plus innings. He struck out five.

After tossing six scoreless innings against the Astros in his season debut, Hicks' results have rapidly gone backwards. The 28-year-old right-hander has been tagged for at least five earned runs in three straight starts, leaving him with a rough 6.59 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 24:13 K:BB through 27.1 innings. There should be some positive regression coming -- Hicks' FIP is 3.98, and his 56.9 percent LOB rate is well below league average -- but he'll be tough to deploy until he begins to get back on track. Hicks is scheduled to make his next start at home this weekend against the Rangers.

Quintana (3-0) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one run on six hits and two walks over six innings in an 11-3 rout of the Giants. He struck out three.

The veteran southpaw has been an outstanding addition to an injury-plagued Brewers rotation. Quintana has won three straight starts since making his season debut April 11, producing a dazzling 0.96 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 18.2 innings despite a lack of dominance -- he has just a 9:5 K:BB, and he generated only eight swinging strikes on 94 pitches (61 total strikes) Tuesday. Quintana will look to keep rolling in his next outing, which lines up to come on the road this weekend in St. Louis.

Pfaadt (4-1) picked up the win Tuesday in a 5-1 victory over the Rays, allowing one run on four hits over six innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.

The 26-year-old right-hander won his fourth straight outing and delivered his third quality start in five trips to the mound, with only an RBI single by Jake Mangum in the second inning putting a blemish on his night. Pfaadt will take a 2.73 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB through 29.2 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against Atlanta.

Littell (0-5) took the loss Tuesday, giving up three runs on six hits and one walk over six innings as the Rays were downed 5-1 by the Diamondbacks. He struck out two.

The right-hander delivered his second straight quality start and third in five trips to the mound on 99 pitches (61 strikes), but he once again couldn't get into the win column. Tampa Bay has scored a total of five runs in Littell's five outings, which certainly isn't helping his chances of collecting a win, but he's also served up eight homers in 29 innings to begin the season -- including two in Tuesday's loss. Littell will carry a 5.28 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 21:7 K:BB into his next start, which lines up to come on the road this weekend in San Diego.
