Pepiot (1-3) was tagged with a loss after he pitched six innings, giving up three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out seven batters in Sunday's 4-0 defeat to the Yankees.

Pepiot bounced back well after surrendering six runs over six innings in his last start Tuesday against the Red Sox. One of the right-hander's biggest problems this season has been the long ball, and he surrendered two more Sunday. Trent Grisham launched a solo shot in the first inning before Cody Bellinger went deep with a solo homer of his own in the top of the sixth. Pepiot has now given up eight home runs over his first five starts of the season. He'll carry a 4.82 ERA and 1.50 WHIP into his next projected start Saturday in San Diego.

Fried (4-0) earned a win after he pitched 7.2 scoreless innings, allowing two hits, two walks and a hit-by-pitch while striking out two in Sunday's 4-0 victory over the Rays.

Fried silenced Tampa Bay for his longest outing of the 2025 campaign, never allowing a baserunner to reach second base Sunday. The left-hander has now logged three consecutive quality starts, producing an 0.85 ERA and 0.76 WHIP with 20 strikeouts over 21.1 innings during that stretch. Fried's next start is tentatively set to come Saturday at home versus Toronto.

Burns is being promoted to Double-A Chattanooga, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Burns will move up a level after he produced a 3.09 ERA and 0.89 WHIP with 20 strikeouts over 11.2 innings in three starts with High-A Dayton. The right-hander is one of the Reds' top overall prospects, and the 2024 first-round pick is now one step closer to fulfilling his major-league dreams.

Lucas (2-2) took the loss Sunday against the Mariners, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks over 1.2 innings with five strikeouts.

The Toronto southpaw was pummeled again for a second consecutive start, as he tossed 55 pitches while failing to get out of the second inning. After opening the season with 10.1 scoreless innings across two wins, Lucas has coughed up 14 runs in 6.2 innings over his last two outings. Overall, the 28-year-old now sports an ugly 7.41 ERA and 1.53 WHIP with a 19:9 K:BB. Things aren't looking much easier ahead, as Lucas currently lines up to make his next start against the Yankees on the road next weekend.

Castillo (2-2) picked up the win Sunday at Toronto, yielding three runs on 10 hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out five.

Castillo walked away with his 75th career win despite giving up double-digit hits -- including four doubles -- for the first time since April 2, 2024. The veteran right-hander labored through 102 pitches and handed the game off to his bullpen, which allowed just one additional hit. Castillo has not been sharp to open the season, pitching to a 4.44 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 23:12 K:BB across 26.1 innings. He currently lines up for a home start against the Marlins next weekend.

Keller did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Guardians, pitching five two-run innings while allowing five hits and two walks. He struck out three.

The Pittsburgh right-hander fired 101 pitches in this outing, as he limited the Cleveland lineup to just one extra-base hit. The only blemish on Keller's afternoon was a two-run homer cracked by Steven Kwan in the third inning. After 28 innings, Keller now sports a 4.18 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB. The 29-year-old is currently scheduled to make his next start against the fearsome Dodgers on the road next weekend.

Allen did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning win over Pittsburgh, pitching 5.2 innings while allowing one run on five hits and one walk. He struck out five.

The 26-year-old southpaw looked solid in this outing, tossing 95 pitches and generating seven whiffs, falling one out short of his first quality start of the season. The only blemish on Allen's day was a run-scoring double off the bat of Andrew McCutchen in the sixth inning. Allen now sports a 2.11 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 16:10 K:BB over 21.1 innings. He currently lines up to make his next start against the Red Sox at home next weekend.

Kelly (leg) exited Sunday's contest against the Cubs in the bottom of the sixth inning due to right leg cramping.

Kelly had tossed 5.2 innings of one-run ball, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out five batters before being forced to leave the game. The right-hander retired the final 16 batters he faced in the contest, and his status moving forward is likely day-to-day. Kelly is projected to make his next start Saturday against Atlanta, and it's unclear if he's in danger of missing that outing.

Springs (hamstring) expects to be ready to go for his next start Saturday versus the White Sox, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Springs pitched 2.1 innings, allowing six runs (four earned) on five hits and four walks with three strikeouts before departing with right hamstring tightness in the third inning of Sunday's 14-1 loss to the Brewers. The left-hander said following the game that the hamstring issue felt more like a cramp that began in the second inning and worsened in the third. Springs will be re-evaluated during Monday's off day, but he thinks he'll be good to go for his next turn in the rotation.

Glasnow (lower leg) is expected to make his next start Sunday versus the Pirates, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Glasnow departed Sunday's 1-0 win over the Rangers in the fifth inning due to cramping in his right lower leg, but manager Dave Roberts said following the game that the right-hander will likely be set for his next turn in the rotation. Glasnow tossed four scoreless innings before leaving the game Sunday, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out six batters. Through four starts in 2025, the right-hander has compiled a 3.71 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 23 strikeouts over 17 innings.
