Martin took a no-decision Sunday against the Angels. He struck out two over six innings while allowing two unearned runs on four hits and two walks.

The Chicago right-hander scattered four hits -- three singles and a double -- in this solid outing, notching his fifth career quality start out of 20 total games started. Despite generating just two punchouts, Martin was sharp and kept the Angels lineup in check with a 55.6 percent groundball rate. The 28-year-old should continue to be a mainstay in the White Sox rotation with performances like this one. Martin currently lines up to make his next start at Detroit next weekend.

Pallante (1-0) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings against the Twins on Sunday. He struck out three and earned the win.

Pallante gave up one run through three frames before serving up a solo shot to Willi Castro in the fourth inning. By that point, the Cardinals had already given Pallante a heavy cushion by scoring eight runs in the first three innings. He tossed 46 of 78 pitches for strikes and forced 13 whiffs, including seven with his fastball, which averaged 95.2 mph. Pallante is currently in line to start in Boston next weekend.

Ober (0-1) coughed up eight runs on eight hits and three walks over 2.2 innings Sunday, striking out two and taking a loss against St. Louis. He was pitching despite coming down with a virus that had him in bed Friday and getting IV fluids Saturday, Phil Miller of the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Ober danced out of a two-on, one-out situation in the first inning, but things quickly unraveled from there. He served up a three-run shot to Victor Scott in the second and gave up five runs in the third, including another three-run jack by Pedro Pages. Ober looked impressive during spring training, posting a 1.77 ERA across 20.1 frames. The 6-foot-9 righty has posted a sub-4.00 ERA in each of his last three seasons. Ober's next outing is currently projected to be at home against the Astros.

Wacha (0-1) yielded a run on four hits and four walks over four innings Sunday, striking out two and taking a loss against Cleveland.

The lone run against Wacha came in the second inning when Carlos Santana knocked a leadoff double and came around to score on Gabriel Arias' sacrifice fly. Wacha worked around a couple of other sticky situations but ultimately needed 87 pitches (52 strikes) to work through four frames. He walked four or more batters just twice out of his 29 regular-season starts in 2024. Wacha will look for better results in his next outing, which is projected to be at home against Baltimore.

Bibee (1-0) allowed two hits and two walks over 5.2 shutout innings Sunday, striking out two and earning a win over the Royals.

Bibee was in line to be Cleveland's Opening Day starter, but an illness pushed his start back a few days. He coughed up a couple of extra-base knocks Sunday but was able to skate around danger in the scoreless performance. While the two punchouts and nine whiffs are a bit disappointing, the 26-year-old righty picked up where he left off last year after posting a 3.47 ERA across 173.2 regular-season frames. Bibee is lined up for a road matchup against the Angels next weekend.

Feltner did not factor into the decision in Sunday's loss at Tampa Bay, pitching five innings while allowing two runs on four hits and one walk. He struck out five.

The Colorado right-hander allowed both runs on a homer to Brandon Lowe in the first inning but settled in after that, yielding just two hits over his next 4.1 innings. Feltner managed to generate a solid 13 whiffs across 83 total pitches, as his fastball averaged 94.2 mph, down slightly from 94.6 mph last season. Most importantly, after posting a 6.8 BB/9 in 14.2 spring innings, he issued just one free pass in this appearance. Feltner is currently slated to make his next start against the Athletics at home next weekend.

Smith-Shawver (0-1) took the loss Sunday against San Diego, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out four.

Smith-Shawver did a good job limiting the Padres to just two runs, though he lasted only four innings after throwing 77 pitches. Smith-Shawver won the final spot in Atlanta's rotation thanks to an impressive showing in spring training, but he came into the year with just 29.2 innings of regular-season experience under his belt. The 22-year-old right-hander will look for better results in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week against Miami.

Pivetta (1-0) earned the win Sunday over Atlanta, allowing just one hit over seven scoreless innings. He struck out four.

The Padres couldn't have asked for more out of Pivetta in his first start in San Diego, as the right-hander held a powerful Atlanta offense to a lone third-inning single en route to a shutout victory. The 32-year-old Pivetta signed with San Diego late in the offseason after posting a 4.14 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 172:36 K:BB across 145.2 innings with the Red Sox last year. Pivetta will look to keep rolling in his second start, currently scheduled for next week on the road against the Cubs.

Bradley (1-0) earned the win Sunday versus the Rockies, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out seven.

The Tampa Bay right-hander scattered five hits -- four singles and one double -- across his 78 total pitches to secure his first victory and quality start of the season. Bradley's fastball looked sharp, as he averaged 96.8 mph on the pitch, in line with last season when it averaged 96.4 mph. The 24-year-old is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Rangers on the road next weekend.

Bassitt (1-0) earned the win against the Orioles on Sunday, allowing one run on eight hits and two walks with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Bassitt yielded a run on a wild pitch in the first inning but bounced back with five scoreless frames. The veteran hurler disappointed in 2024, but he posted a 1.74 ERA and 0.97 WHIP this spring and is certainly capable of a rebound. He lines up for a road matchup with the Mets next weekend.
