The Angels optioned Dana to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Dana was wildly inconsistent across his three Cactus League outings. He surrendered three earned runs over 1.2 innings in his spring debut before tossing three scoreless frames in his second start. He then struggled again in his most recent outing, giving up seven runs in one inning while striking out two and walking four. The 21-year-old prospect will look to find his footing in Triple-A to begin the year and attempt to return to the Angels' rotation at some point this summer.

The Angels optioned Aldegheri to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Aldegheri made just one appearance this spring, giving up two home runs and striking out three batters in his lone inning of work. He turned in a 4.85 ERA and 1.92 WHIP across 13 innings with the Angels last season, but he'll head back to the minors to begin 2025 and will likely need to demonstrate success over an extended period of time before getting the call back to Anaheim.

The Tigers placed Gipson-Long (elbow/hip) on the 60-day injured list Saturday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Gipson-Long underwent Tommy John surgery in April followed by another surgery on his hip in July. He's begun throwing bullpen sessions since the start of spring training, though his return from the injured list likely won't come until closer to the All-Star break.

Buehler allowed one run on three hits and one walk with three strikeouts in Friday's spring start against Miami.

Buehler made his second Grapefruit League start and both have been encouraging; he struck out four in two scoreless innings five days prior. After a rocky 2024 when he returned from Tommy John elbow surgery, Buehler had a strong postseason and has continued the trend to the start of spring training.

Urquidy (elbow) signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Tigers on Saturday and was subsequently placed on the 60-day injured list, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Urquidy's new deal also includes a $4 million team option for 2026. The 29-year-old righty is still recovering from the Tommy John procedure he underwent in June, so he likely won't be available to pitch for the Tigers until the second half, if at all, this season. Once healthy, he'll add depth to Detroit's starting rotation, though the team may opt to use him out of the bullpen initially while he ramps back up from surgery.

Williams gave up a run on three hits and a walk over four innings in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Mets. He struck out out.

The veteran right-hander looked sharp in his third appearance of the spring as he faced a New York lineup that included Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso, Mark Vientos and other likely Opening Day starters. Williams is locked into a rotation spot for the Nationals after a surprisingly effective 2024 campaign that saw him post a 2.03 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 59:18 K:BB over 66.2 regular-season innings.

Cannon has allowed six earned runs across five innings in Cactus League action.

Cannon has made two starts in the exhibition season, with his latest start coming Thursday when he allowed three home runs across three innings. The one positive is that Cannon has a 4:0 K:BB, and he is locked into a rotation spot to begin the regular season.

Blackburn gave up three runs on five hits and two walks over 2.1 innings in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Nationals. He failed to strike out a batter.

While his final line was sketchy, Blackburn blanked the Nats through two innings before running out of gas in the third and serving up homers to CJ Abrams and James Wood. The right-hander appears to be on the outside looking in for a spot on the Opening Day rotation even with Sean Manaea (oblique) and Frankie Montas (lat) sidelined to begin the season, but with the Mets planning to deploy a six-man rotation somewhat liberally in 2025, Blackburn should get starting opportunities over the summer.

Clevinger (neck) is expected to make his spring debut Sunday, Lamond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Clevinger is competing for a bullpen role with the White Sox this spring after signing in late February. A neck injury ended his 2024 season, though he's been throwing live batting practice and will now be set for his spring debut.

Cabrera got tagged for six runs on four hits -- including three home runs -- and two walks over 1.2 innings in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox. He struck out two.

Trevor Story took Cabrera deep twice, while Abraham Toro also touched him up for a long ball. The right-hander's ability to generate whiffs keeps earning him chances in the Marlins' rotation -- he's posted a strikeout rate north of 25 percent in the majors in each of the last three seasons -- but Cabrera's issues with command and control remain a significant hurdle between him and consistent fantasy production. Through 4.2 innings over three appearances this spring, he's stumbled to a 19.29 ERA with a 3:2 K:BB.
