Wheeler (1-3) collected the victory Saturday versus the White Sox, yielding just one hit and two walks over 7.1 shutout innings. He notched eight strikeouts.

Wheeler carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning before Korey Lee broke it up when he slashed a ball down the right-field line and just under first baseman Bryce Harper's glove. Phillies manager Rob Thomson then immediately came to get Wheeler, who finished with 106 pitches over his 7.1 brilliant frames. It was somehow Wheeler's first win of the season even though he's been one of the best pitchers in baseball with a 2.30 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 38:7 K:BB across 31.1 innings. Wheeler's next scheduled outing in Cincinnati shapes up to be a more difficult one, but he's matchup-proof.

Williams came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 extra-inning win over Houston, allowing one run on three hits over six innings. He struck out four without walking a batter.

The soft-tossing righty delivered his first quality start of the season by filling up the strike zone and generating plenty of weak contact, firing 52 of 77 pitches for strikes -- but only four swinging strikes. Williams has had an impressive beginning to the season despite his lack of dominance, producing a 2.91 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 18:6 K:BB through 21.2 innings. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend in Miami.

Blanco came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Nationals, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out six.

The right-hander extended his quality start streak to four to begin the season, firing 63 of 98 pitches for strikes, and Blanco was in line for his third win after the Astros took the lead in the top of the seventh while he was still pitcher of record. Unfortunately, Ryan Pressly coughed up that lead in the ninth. Blanco will take a 1.33 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 22:12 K:BB through 27 innings into his next outing, which lines up for a potentially tough road tilt at Coors Field against the Rockies.

Stone came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Mets, giving up two runs on four hits and five walks over 3.1 innings. He struck out only one.

The 25-year-old right-hander needed 72 pitches to record 10 outs and managed only 38 strikes, as he failed to complete four innings for the second time in four starts. Stone's erratic beginning to the season has left him with a 6.00 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 16:10 K:BB through 18 innings, and he could be running out of time to lock up a rotation spot with Walker Buehler (elbow) and Bobby Miller (shoulder) closing in on returns from the IL. Stone is scheduled to make his next start on the road in Toronto next weekend.

Butto came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers, giving up two runs on three hits and five walks over 4.1 innings while striking out six.

The right-hander threw only 47 of 95 pitches for strikes, but he was able to limit the damage. Butto was coming off back-to-back quality starts, so one shaky performance shouldn't jeopardize his spot in the rotation, but he now has a 21:9 K:BB through his first 16.1 big-league innings this season to go along with his 1.65 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. He'll look to sharpen his control in his next outing, which lines up to come next weekend at home against the Cardinals.

Allen (3-0) did enough for the win Saturday versus the Athletics, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

It was a bit surprising Allen was even sent back out for the sixth inning, as he needed 84 pitches to cover five frames and his fifth inning was particularly laborious. The lefty was finally pulled after yielding a one-out triple in the sixth, with that runner immediately scoring and getting charged to Allen. The Guardians southpaw holds a 5.06 ERA in five outings and has managed just one quality start, though he still has a spotless 3-0 record.

Wood (0-2) took the loss Saturday in Cleveland, yielding four runs on eight hits and a walk over five frames. He struck out four.

The five innings Wood went in this one is actually tied for his longest outing of the season. He's yielded a whopping 33 hits over 21.2 innings so far, in addition to issuing 11 walks. The Athletics no doubt were hoping Wood could put together a nice few months so they could deal him for a prospect, but he's not going to be attracting any trade interest at this rate.

Cobb (hip/elbow/shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list by the Giants on Saturday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of Mitch White. Cobb had been poised for a quicker-than-expected return from offseason hip surgery, but he's been slowed this month but elbow and shoulder issues. He doesn't have structural issues and has already resumed throwing, but being moved to the 60-day IL will allow Cobb a more deliberate pace after he was probably rushed a bit the first time around. The right-hander now won't be eligible to return until late May.

Harrison took a no-decision Saturday versus the Diamondbacks, permitting three runs on six hits and one walk over four innings. He notched five strikeouts.

Harrison had a 1-2-3 second inning but labored in all three of his other frames, ultimately getting pulled after throwing 74 pitches over just four innings. He averaged just 91.9 mph with his four-seamer, which is down 1.3 mph from his average for the year. If there are silver linings, it's Harrison striking out more than a batter per frame and also not giving up any home runs, as bat-missing and the long ball have been issues in his first four starts. His next outing should come at home against the Pirates.

Gallen (3-1) was saddled with a loss Saturday in San Francisco, yielding five runs on nine hits and one walk over five frames. He struck out six.

Jung Hoo Lee hit Gallen's second pitch in the bottom of the first inning for a home run, and the Giants wound up plating a couple runs on four hits in the opening frame. Patrick Bailey also took Gallen deep in the fifth, representing the first two long balls the righty has surrendered this season. While he walked just one batter, Gallen threw three wild pitches in this one, so he just seemed a tad off in general. He had been rolling prior to Saturday's dud, so Gallen should be able to flush this performance and fare better his next time out.
