Nelson (6-2) earned the win Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk over six innings against the Cardinals. He struck out four.

Nelson kept his strong 2025 campaign rolling Saturday by limiting the Cardinals' offense to a single run on two doubles and two singles. The right-hander has been especially effective recently, posting a 2.29 ERA and 0.99 WHIP over 39.1 innings across his past seven starts.

Arrighetti (thumb) tossed three scoreless innings in a rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi on Saturday, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out four batters.

Arrighetti was sharp in his first game action since early April, throwing 29 of 43 pitches for strikes and allowing just one baserunner. The right-hander is making his way back from a fractured right thumb that he suffered when struck by a line drive during batting practice April 7. Per the Houston Chronicle, Arrighetti will likely need "several more" rehab starts before he's ready to be activated from the injured list.

Gray (9-4) took the loss Saturday, allowing nine runs on 11 hits and no walks over 3.1 innings in a 10-1 loss against the Diamondbacks. He struck out five.

Gray endured perhaps the worst outing of his career Saturday, tying his career high by allowing eight earned runs. He came into the game with a 3.50 ERA and 1.08 WHIP, but those marks now sit at 4.04 and 1.15, respectively, across 111.1 innings in 20 starts.

Peralta (12-4) allowed four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Saturday.

Peralta stumbled, allowing all four runs in the third inning, but he didn't squander the second lead the Brewers built. This ended his stretch of three straight quality starts, but he's impressively won seven outings in a row, posting a 3.18 ERA and 44:9 K:BB over that span. On the year, he's been even better, maintaining a 2.85 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 122:40 K:BB through 116.2 innings across 21 starts. The right-hander's next start is projected to be at home in a favorable matchup against the Marlins.

Imanaga (7-3) earned the win Saturday, allowing five hits and one walk over seven scoreless innings against the Red Sox. He struck out five.

Imanaga carved up the Red Sox lineup Saturday, notching his fifth scoreless start of the season. The left-hander was stellar in his first MLB season in 2024, logging a 2.91 ERA and 1.02 WHIP over 173.1 innings across 29 regular-season starts, and he's been even better so far in his sophomore campaign. Through 13 starts in 2025, he owns a 2.40 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in 75 innings. Virtually the only thing that's slowed Imanaga down has been a strained left hamstring that sidelined him for much of May and June.

Bello (6-4) took the loss Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over six innings in a 6-0 loss to the Cubs. He struck out four.

The right-hander delivered his eighth quality start in his past nine outings Saturday, despite surrendering first-inning homers to Michael Busch and Kyle Tucker. Bello has put together a strong 2025 campaign, posting a 3.23 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 97.2 innings across 17 appearances (16 starts).

Senzatela (4-13) allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three over seven innings to earn the win over the Twins on Saturday.

Senzatela had his longest outing of the season and just his second quality start all year, ending a three-game losing streak in the process. During that streak, he allowed 12 runs, including four home runs, over 15 innings. Senzatela wasn't exactly dominant Saturday, but he was efficient, needing just 78 pitches (52 strikes) to get through his seven frames. Overall, he's at a 6.41 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and 52:34 K:BB through 98.1 innings over 20 appearances (19 starts) this season. He's lined up for a road start in Baltimore for his next outing.

Matthews (1-2) allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out six over four-plus innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Rockies.

The Twins took a 3-0 lead in the second inning, but the Rockies chipped away at it over the remainder of Matthews' start, which was his first major-league outing since June 4. He threw 77 pitches (51 strikes) before he was pulled from the game after running into trouble in the fifth frame. The 25-year-old is now at a 6.26 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 31:9 K:BB through 23 innings over five starts in the majors this season. Matthews is tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Nationals, though he or David Festa could be at risk of losing the last spot in the rotation once Bailey Ober (hip) returns from the injured list.

Houck was returned from his minor-league rehab assignment Saturday due to a recurrence of a right pronator strain, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Houck was first diagnosed with a right pronator strain in mid-May, and he subsequently landed on the 15-day injured list. The right-hander kicked off a minor-league rehab stint about a month later and pitched in five games, posting a 5.74 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 15:6 K:BB over 15.2 innings between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester. There had been optimism that Houck was close to being activated, but the setback means he'll likely be out for another significant chunk of time.

Darvish (0-2) took the loss against the Nationals on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with one strikeout over five innings.

Darvish rebounded from a two-run second inning and was highly efficient, needing just 69 pitches to complete five frames for the first time in three starts. The veteran hurler still appears to be searching for his command, however, as he generated only six swinging strikes and has posted a 8:7 K:BB over 13.1 innings since debuting July 7. He'll look to continue building up his workload and improving on a 6.08 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in a road matchup with the Cardinals next week.
