Kershaw didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against the White Sox, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk with three strikeouts over six innings.

Kershaw became the 20th player in MLB history to record 3,000 career strikeouts, and he did so in dramatic fashion. The 37-year-old labored through five innings, yielding four runs and throwing 92 pitches with merely two strikeouts, but he still came out for the sixth frame. Kershaw retired Mike Tauchman to start the inning before allowing a double to Michael Taylor. Taylor was caught stealing third base, setting up an inning-ending strikeout of Vinny Capra for Kershaw to etch his name in the history books. While he couldn't continue his four-start win streak, Kershaw maintained his lossless 2025 campaign since the Dodgers rallied for the walk-off win. In his last five appearances, Kershaw has a 2.48 ERA and a 24:5 K:BB across 29 innings. He's on track to face the Brewers for his next start.

Burke didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against the Dodgers, allowing one run on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

The only damage against Burke came in the second inning, when Andy Pages clubbed a solo homer. Wednesday's outing continued a stellar stretch of play for the 25-year-old pitcher, who's allowed just two earned runs in his last three starts (16.1 innings) to go along with a 19:5 K:BB. His season-long ERA is down to 4.03 across 87 innings. Burke is lined up to face the Blue Jays early next week.

The Mariners will recall Evans from Triple-A Tacoma to start Thursday's game against the Royals, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

With Bryce Miller (elbow) likely out until late July and with Emerson Hancock recently getting demoted to Triple-A, Evans will come up from the minors to claim the fifth spot in Seattle's rotation. The 24-year-old has already made seven starts for the Mariners this season, turning in a 3.38 ERA and 1.33 WHIP alongside a 30:12 K:BB over 40 innings, but he gave up eight runs in only three frames during his most recent outing with Tacoma this past Saturday. That being said, Evans will draw a favorable matchup in his return to the big club, as he'll face a Royals offense that has posted a .617 OPS over the past two weeks.

Cameron didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Seattle, allowing four hits and one walk with five strikeouts across 4.2 scoreless innings.

Cameron delivered his fourth scoreless start of his rookie season, bouncing back from two consecutive losses and an appearance in which he yielded five runs over four innings to the Dodgers. Eleven of the 25-year-old's 16 earned runs allowed over 55.1 innings in 2025 have come in two starts: the aforementioned outing against Los Angeles and a June 27 start against the Yankees. When he hasn't faced arguably the two most potent offenses in baseball, he's been utterly dominant, boasting a 0.96 ERA and a 33:15 K:BB in 46.2 innings. He's slated to face the Pirates next time out.

Gilbert didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Kansas City, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out seven.

Since returning June 16 from a nearly two-month stint on the injured list due to an elbow injury, Gilbert hasn't completed six innings and has a 4.95 ERA over four starts. However, he's been generating plenty of strikeouts, fanning 30 batters across 20 innings during that stretch. The 28-year-old has a 3.40 ERA this season. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Yankees in New York early next week.

Fuentes did not factor into Wednesday's decision against the Angels, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six across 3.2 innings.

Fuentes put Atlanta behind early, as he yielded a two-run single to Jo Adell in the first. Fuentes kept the Halos off the board for the rest of his outing, and he managed to generate 10 whiffs and log a season-high six punchouts while pushing his pitch count up to 92 pitches (52 strikes). Fuentes has not made it through four innings in each of his last two outings and has given up 12 runs over his first 12 big-league innings. He's adjusting to major-league hitting, but his call-up from Triple-A Gwinnett was out of necessity with four Atlanta starters on the injured list, most recently Chris Sale (ribs) and Spencer Schwellenbach (elbow). Fuentes is lined up to make his next start on the road against the Athletics next week.

Kikuchi did not factor in the decision in the Angels' 8-3 loss to Atlanta on Wednesday. He allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven across 5.2 innings.

Kikuchi was able to escape from a bases-load situation in the first and was in line for the win as he entered the sixth looking to log a third consecutive quality start. He was lifted after giving up two consecutive singles and was tagged for those runs after Sean Murphy launched a three-run homer off Ryan Zeferjahn. Kikuchi is in the midst of a career season, and his 106 strikeouts and 2.81 ERA (across 101.2 innings) rank ninth and 11th, respectively, among qualified starters in the American League. He's slated to start against the Rangers at home next week.

Gray (8-3) took the loss against the Pirates on Wednesday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out six across 6.1 innings.

Though he gave up a run in the second, Gray was dominant through his first six frames, at one point retiring 14 straight batters. However, things fell apart for the Cardinals' ace in the seventh, when he allowed three of the four hitters he faced on base and was tagged for three more runs. He now sits at a 3.51 ERA and 1.08 WHIP across 100 innings this season, and his 107 strikeouts is tied with Nick Pivetta for 13th most in the National League. Gray is projected to start against the Nationals at home next week, which may be his final turn in the rotation before the All-Star break.

Keller (3-10) earned the win against the Cardinals on Wednesday, allowing five hits and one walk while striking out seven batters in seven scoreless innings.

Keller got off to a shaky start after letting the first three batters he faced on base, but he was able to escape the first frame unscathed. He was lights out after giving up two more baserunners in the third, retiring the last 11 batters he faced before the bullpen came in to complete the shutout and extend the Pittsburgh pitching staff's scoreless streak to 31 innings, per ESPN. Keller has won each of his last two outings after failing to record a win across his previous 15 starts, and he now has a 3.64 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 106.1 innings this season. He's slated to start against the Royals on the road next week.

Berrios did not factor into the decision in Wednesdays 11-9 win over the Yankees, allowing six runs on nine hits and no walks with three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Berrios was cruising with an 8-0 lead through four innings before surrendering six runs and failing to escape the fifth. It was just the second time in 18 starts the 31-year-old hasn't completed at least five frames, though he's now allowed six earned runs in a game three times this season. He'll carry a 3.64 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 92:37 K:BB across 106.1 innings into a favorable matchup with the White Sox next week.
