Bo Bichette SS | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Resumes baseball activities
Bichette (calf) took ground balls, ran the bases and hit in the batting cage Friday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
He looks to be on track to return from the injured list once eligible Tuesday and should ramp up his workload over the weekend. While Bichette has been sidelined, Isiah Kiner-Falefa has drawn most of the starts at shortstop.

Orelvis Martinez 3B | TOR
Blue Jays' Orelvis Martinez: Making first start Friday
Martinez will start at second base and bat eighth in Friday's game versus the Guardians.
It will be the first major-league start for Martinez, who was on the bench for two straight contests following his promotion. The 22-year-old is one of the better power-hitting prospects in baseball, but he does struggle to make contact and isn't regarded as a great defender. Getting him playing time does not appear to be a priority for the Blue Jays during this stint, but he will have a chance to show what he can do Friday.

David Hamilton SS | BOS
Red Sox's David Hamilton: On bench against left-hander
Hamilton is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Cincinnati.
The left-handed hitting Hamilton has been an everyday guy lately for the Red Sox, but he'll begin this one on the bench as the Reds send southpaw Andrew Abbott to the bump. Hamilton has also dealt with a side issue this week, so the team could be exercising caution here. Romy Gonzalez will handle shortstop Friday.

Angel Martinez SS | CLE
Guardians' Angel Martinez: Set for first MLB stint
The Guardians recalled Martinez from Triple-A Columbus on Friday.
Martinez will get his first taste of big-league action, stepping onto the 26-man roster due to Gabriel Arias tending to personal matters. The 22-year-old Martinez slashed .333/.438/.550 with three homers and a 12.1 percent K rate in 17 games at Columbus. He's likely to provide depth at shortstop, second base and third base while up with the Guardians.

Bobby Witt SS | KC
Royals' Bobby Witt: Lifts 12th homer
Witt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.
Witt provided the Royals' margin of victory with his eighth-inning blast. He's had an incredible June, hitting safely in 16 of 17 games. He's batting .347 with a .937 OPS, three home runs and five steals this month. That's even a little better than his season-long .322/.371/.550 slash line with 12 homers, 21 steals, 53 RBI and 60 runs scored through 76 contests.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Athletics' Aledmys Diaz: Sees time at hot corner Thursday
Diaz drew a start at third base in Thursday's loss to the Royals, going 1-for-2 before being lifted for a pinch hitter in the seventh inning.
The veteran drew only his fifth start of June and delivered his third hit of the season across 24 plate appearances. Diaz began the month logging what was a third straight start at the time, but his sparse playing time since and advanced age may imply he's not much longer for the roster of an Athletics team that will increasingly focus on developing young players as the remainder of the season unfolds.

Dylan Moore 2B | TEX
Mariners' Dylan Moore: Productive night in loss
Moore went 1-for-3 with with a two-run home run, a walk and a stolen base in a loss to the Guardians on Thursday.
Moore got the Mariners' night started on the right foot with his first-inning 429-foot shot to left field. The round tripper was Moore's second in the last three games, following a 21-game homer drought. Moore has been particularly active on the basepaths of late, recording four steals in his last five contests to push his season total to 13.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Three hits, steal in blowout win

Henderson stayed hot Thursday, extending his hitting streak to 13 games and his on-base streak to 27 contests. Over the longer span, he's gone 32-for-106 (.302) with 17 extra-base hits, five steals and 22 walks. The 22-year-old is at a .279/.376/.589 slash line with 12 steals, 22 home runs, 50 RBI and 62 runs scored through 73 games this season.
