Angels' David Fletcher: Another three-hit game

Fletcher went 3-for-5 with a double and a run in Thursday's win over Arizona.

It hasn't taken long for Fletcher to get back into a rhythm after a stint on the injured list sidelined him for the first part of September. The 26-year-old went 1-for-10 in his first two games back but has notched a pair of three-hit games in his subsequent three starts. That has pushed his average up to .314, seventh best in the American League.

Adames got the scoring started early in the second part of the twin bill with a first-inning, three-run blast off Bruce Zimmermann. It was the sixth home run of the year for the 25-year-old, who is leading qualifying Rays hitters with a .266 batting average.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Plates two in loss

Crawford went 1-for-5 with two RBI in the Mariners' 6-4 loss to the Giants on Thursday. He also struck out three times.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Astros' Carlos Correa: Hitless in return

Correa went 0-for-3 in Wednesday's 1-0 loss to the Rangers.

  • Tim Anderson 2B | LAA

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Owns September

Anderson went 1-for-4 and was caught stealing in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Twins.

Anderson extended his hit streak to five games (13-for-23) and has hit safely in 12 of 14 September games. He's owned the month for two seasons. In 2019, he slashed .374/.400/.566 over 23 games on his way to the AL batting title. This season, he's slashing .450/.477/.600 over 14 games and is tied with the Yankees' DJ LeMahieu for tops in the AL.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Astros' Carlos Correa: Back in action

Correa (ankle) is starting Wednesday against the Rangers.

  • J.P. Crawford SS | SEA

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Back from bereavement leave

The Mariners reinstated Crawford (personal) from the bereavement list Wednesday.

Crawford missed five games after leaving the team last week following a death in his family. Now that he's been reinstated, Crawford should step back in as the Mariners' everyday shortstop and primary leadoff option in Wednesday's "home" game against the Giants in San Francisco.

  • David Fletcher 2B | ATL

Angels' David Fletcher: Back on track with three hits

Fletcher went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI in a loss to Arizona on Tuesday.

Fletcher had gone an uncharacteristic 1-for-10 in his first two games after returning from an ankle injury, but he looked more like his usual self with Tuesday's three-hit effort. The performance was Fletcher's sixth this season with at least three hits, five of which have come over his last 13 games. The 26-year-old is slashing .308/.371/.428 with an impressive 11.2 percent strikeout rate over 178 plate appearances this season.

  • Indians' Francisco Lindor: Drives in four

Lindor went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, a stolen base, a walk, four RBI and one run scored Tuesday against the Cubs.

Lindor single-handedly powered Cleveland's offense. He clubbed an RBI double in the third frame and followed that up with an RBI single two innings later. However, his biggest contribution came in the ninth inning, when he slugged a two-run home run to tie the contest. For the season, Lindor has maintained a .286/.346/.469 line with eight home runs, four steals, 24 RBI and 26 runs scored across 48 contests.
