Willy Adames SS | SF
Rays' Willy Adames: Leaves yard in loss
Adames went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Twins.
Adames left the yard for the second straight game, slugging a 423-foot solo shot off reliever Trevor May in the seventh inning. Despite some inconsistency at the plate, the 23-year-old clearly still has some pop in his bat and is batting .253/.318/.402 with nine home runs, 23 RBI and 33 runs.

Dee Strange-Gordon SS | WAS
Mariners' Dee Gordon: Continues hitting in win
Gordon went 2-for-5 with an RBI double and a run in a win over the Brewers on Tuesday.
Gordon had snapped out of a 2-for-20 skid with a multi-hit effort to close out the four-game series against the Orioles on Sunday, and he encouragingly remained hot Tuesday with his second straight two-hit tally. The extra-base hit was also Gordon's first since he laced his second triple of the season against the Athletics on June 16, and he's now boosted his season line back to .273/.297/.368, all improvements over his 2018 figures.

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Stays hot in win
Crawford went 2-for-5 with an RBI groundout, a run-scoring triple and a run in a win over the Brewers on Tuesday.
The hot-hitting shortstop picked up right where he left off Sunday, when he'd gone 4-for-4 in a series finale against the Orioles. Crawford has been blistering hot since returning from a stay on the injured list due to an ankle sprain, going 15-for-44 with three doubles, a triple, a home run, 13 RBI, seven walks and eight runs in the subsequent 11 games. Moreover, his 6-for-9 showing over the last two games has served to vault his average over the .300 mark (.305) for the first time since May 12.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Ends homer drought
Bogaerts went 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs and two RBI in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the White Sox.
The long ball was Bogaerts' 15th of the season but his first since June 13, ending a 10-game dry spell. Bogaerts still contributed eight doubles during that span and has now compiled 42 extra-base hits on the campaign, aiding him to a career-best .926 OPS. He'll start at shortstop and bat third Wednesday in the series finale.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Tending to high-ankle sprain
The White Sox relayed Wednesday that Anderson is dealing with a right high-ankle sprain, Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Anderson will undergo an MRI later Wednesday, with the team likely to provide an update regarding his timeline for a return once the test results are available. While the White Sox will exclude Anderson from their lineup for Wednesday's game in Boston, he hasn't been placed on the 10-day injured list yet, though that's expected to happen before Friday's series opener with the Twins. He was spotted Wednesday in the clubhouse wearing a walking boot over the ankle, which offers further evidence that the sprain is more than a day-to-day concern.

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Likely headed for IL
Anderson is expected to land on the 10-day injured list after spraining his right ankle in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Red Sox, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The White Sox will wait on any decision until after Anderson is re-evaluated Wednesday and undergoes an MRI exam, but the belief is the sprained ankle he sustained Tuesday is serious enough to keep him out for the next week and a half. He was helped off the field by manager Rick Renteria and an assistant trainer and will certainly miss Wednesday's series finale.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Runs Tuesday
Correa (ribs) ran before Tuesday's game and is awaiting consultation with team doctors to discuss the next phase of his rehab, David Barron of the Houston Chronicle reports.
That next phase will be participating in baseball activities, such as fielding grounders, throwing and hitting. Encouragingly, Correa has confirmed he's no longer feeling pain. He's expected to rehab through the All-Star Game, leaving him poised for a potential return following the Midsummer Classic.

Willy Adames SS | SF
Rays' Willy Adames: Posts eighth homer
Adames went 2-for-2 with a solo home run in a 9-4 loss against the Twins on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old has been very inconsistent lately. He posted a five-game hitting streak last week, but after going 3-for-4 on Friday, Adames went 0-for-7 over the next two games. The multi-hit game Tuesday, though, has his average back above .250. He is hitting .253 with eight home runs, 22 RBI, 32 runs and three steals in 257 at-bats this season.

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Diagnosed with ankle sprain
Anderson had X-rays come back negative and was diagnosed with a sprained right ankle after leaving Tuesday's game at Boston.
Anderson sustained the injury fielding a grounder behind second base and did not put any weight on his right leg as he was helped off the diamond. The 26-year-old will be re-evaluated Wednesday to determine the severity of the injury, but it seems unlikely he'll be available for the series finale against the Red Sox and a trip to the injured list wouldn't be surprising.

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Leaves Tuesday's game
Anderson was helped off the field Tuesday after suffering an apparent right ankle injury, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Anderson made a lunging play behind second base and appeared to tweak his right ankle as he prepared to make the cross-body throw to first base. The 26-year-old put no weight on his right leg while he was assisted off the field. Anderson went 2-for-3 with a run scored prior to exiting the game.
