Richard Urena SS | WAS
Blue Jays' Richard Urena: Receives invite to spring training
Urena received an invite to go to big league camp for spring training.
Of the top-three dynasty league prospects in the Jays system, Urena has the most upside, but he also carries the most risk. Offensively he has a very similar profile to San Diego's Javier Guerra, where plus power potential at shortstop makes him very intriguing. Unlike Guerra, however, he has a very iffy approach, and is far from a lock to stick at shortstop. Still, the bat should play anywhere, and the chance that he sticks at shortstop makes him a top-100 prospect in dynasty leagues. Look for him to head to High-A to start 2016.

Jonathan Diaz SS | NYY
Yankees' Jonathan Diaz: Signs minor league deal with Yankees
Diaz inked a minor league contract with the Yankees on Friday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
Diaz doesn't have much major league experience under his belt at age 30, but has seen a taste in each of the past three campaigns. He'll once again serve as organizational depth in 2016, but this time it will come with the Yankees rather than the Blue Jays.

Rey Navarro SS | NYY
Angels' Reynaldo Navarro: Claimed by Angels
Navarro was claimed off waivers by the Angels on Wednesday.
Navarro appeared in just 10 games with the Orioles last season, collecting eight hits in 29 at-bats and driving in three runs. According to The Orange County Register, Navarro does have option years remaining, meaning that he'll likely start the year at Triple-A.

Ozzie Martinez SS | CHC
Orioles' Ozzie Martinez: Signs minor league deal with Orioles
Martinez signed a minor league contract with the Orioles on Tuesday, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
He will receive an invitation to spring training as part of the deal. The Orioles are the fifth organization Martinez has passed through, despite being just 27 years old. He will offer organizational middle infield depth.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Athletics' Joe Wendle: Added to 40-man roster
Wendle was added to the 40-man roster Friday.
Wendle put up an impressive campaign with Triple-A Nashville in 2015, slashing .289/.323/.442 with 10 homers. The procedural move was likely done to protect him from the upcoming Rule 5 draft, but it's possible Wendle sees some time in the majors next season.

Luis Sardinas SS | WAS
Mariners' Luis Sardinas: Joins Mariners after trade
Sardinas was traded to the Mariners on Friday for outfielder Ramon Flores, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports.
With the Brewers acquiring Jonathan Villar from the Astros on Thursday, Sardinas suddenly became expendable, opening the door for a trade that better suits both clubs' 40-man rosters. The 22-year-old infielder played in 36 games with Milwaukee this season, recording a pitiful .196/.240/.216 line in 97 at-bats. Still, what Sardinas lacks in hitting he more than makes up for in defensive prowess and he will more than likely push incumbent Ketel Marte for occasional starts at shortstop next season. He shouldn't be considered a fantasy option in anything other than deep AL-only leagues to start next season, but he could factor into the Mariners infield if any injury sidelines Marte or Robinson Cano for any extended time.

Cliff Pennington SS | CIN
Angels' Cliff Pennington: Inks two-year deal with Halos
Pennington signed a two-year contract with the Angels on Tuesday.
The veteran switch-hitter posted a .579 OPS in 105 games between Toronto and Arizona last season, his worst mark in seven major league seasons. However, Pennington's signing fills a utility need for the Angels, allowing Taylor Featherston to return to Triple-A to play everyday.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Carlos Correa: Wins AL Rookie of the Year
Correa won the American League Rookie of the Year Award on Monday, becoming the first Astros player to win the award since Jeff Bagwell in 1991, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Correa hit .279 with 22 doubles, 22 home runs, 68 RBI and 14 stolen bases in only 99 games for Houston. Among AL rookies, he ranked first in homers, slugging (.512) and OPS (.857), while ranking second in RBI and on-base percentage (.345) and third in batting average. The 21-year-old garnered 17 first-place votes to edge Francisco Lindor, who had 13.

Adalberto Mondesi SS | BOS
Royals' Raul Mondesi: On World Series roster
Mondesi, one of the Royals' top prospects, is on the World Series roster.
Mondesi, who was called up from Double-A just days prior, will replace Terrance Gore on the World Series roster. The 20-year-old shortstop might not be as fast as Gore, but he's still stolen 72 bases throughout his minor league career and is considered one of the better defensive prospects to come through the Royals system in the last few years. The World Series is an interesting stage to make a MLB debut, but it's unlikely Mondesi will be asked to do too much unless Kansas City incurs multiple injuries during the series.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Historic night for SS Carlos Correa not enough for Astros in loss
Astros rookie slugger Carlos Correa went 4 for 4 with a double, two home runs, four RBI and two runs in the American League Division Series defeat to Kansas City on Monday.
The 21-year-old Correa became the youngest player in history to go 4 for 4 in the postseason. He also became the youngest ever in the American League to hit two home runs in a postseason game. Finally, he broke the record for most total bases in a postseason game by a shortstop with 11, surpassing Derek Jeter's 10 total bases in Game 1 of the 2006 ALDS.
Correa was in no mood to celebrate his personal highlights, however, as he was already focused on the winner-take-all Game 5 on Wednesday. "There are no emotions," he said after the game. "We have to focus on the next game. We can't do anything by beating ourselves up right now. We have to focus on the next game and try to win it."
