He'll hit the bench for a third straight game on the bench after exitingThursday's matchup with the Brewers due to lower-back tightness. The 27-year-old was cleared of structural damage when an MRI came back negative Friday, so he should continue to be considered day-to-day.

Lindor (back) was removed from Sunday's game against the Phillies due to back discomfort, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Lindor rejoined the lineup after a one-game absence due to lower-back soreness and singled to lead off the game, but he never quite looked comfortable and was replaced in the field for the bottom of the second inning. The 30-year-old should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener versus the Nationals. Luisangel Acuna has replaced him at shortstop.

Kim (shoulder) has resumed playing light catch and plans to ramp up the intensity of his throwing in the next few days, Eric He of the Associated Press reports.

Kim has been sidelined since Aug. 18 due to right shoulder inflammation. He resumed throwing across the diamond in early September but then had his progress stalled after feeling discomfort while attempting to ramp up the intensity of his throws. Kim will now try to ramp back up again with the hope of being able to return to action before the conclusion of the regular season. Xander Bogaerts recently returned to playing shortstop to fill in for Kim while the latter works his way back.

Linder (back) is in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, Tim Healey of Newsday reports. He will start at shortstop and bat leadoff.

The 30-year-old sat out Saturday's contest after leaving Friday's game due to lower-back soreness, but he hit in the batting cage Sunday and has been cleared to rejoin the lineup. Lindor has a .912 OPS with three home runs and two steals through 11 games in September as he and Shohei Ohtani continue to push each other in the race for National League MVP.

Abrams (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

It's the third straight game on the bench for Abrams due to shoulder soreness after he was scratched from the starting nine for Friday's series opener versus Miami. Nasim Nunez will receive another look at shortstop for the Nationals. Manager Dave Martinez indicated Abrams could be available off the bench Sunday and may return to the lineup Monday against the Mets, per Nusbaum.

Winn is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Toronto, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Thomas Saggese will start at shortstop and bat seventh against Blue Jays right-hander Yariel Rodriguez. Winn has slashed .160/.192/.280 with one home run and three RBI over 52 plate appearances in September.

Adames went 3-for-3 with two home runs, five RBI and a walk in Saturday's 15-8 win over the Diamondbacks.

Adames had gone just 2-for-17 over his previous five games, but he broke the slump in a big way Saturday. He set a new career high for homers in a season with a solo shot in the fourth inning after blasting a grand slam during the Brewers' seven-run second. The shortstop is up to a .253/.334/.476 slash line over 148 contests, and he's added personal bests in stolen bases (18), RBI (107) and runs scored (87) this year.

Arcia went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, three RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 10-1 win over the Dodgers.

Arcia knocked in multiple runs for the first time since Aug. 30. The shortstop has had a quiet September so far, going 6-for-41 (.146), though three of his hits this month have gone for extra bases. He's at a .220/.275/.361 slash line with 16 home runs, 45 RBI, 45 runs scored and two stolen bases across 143 contests this season.
