Marlins' Tim Anderson: Scratched from lineup
Anderson (thumb) has been scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Rockies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Marlins' Tim Anderson: Cleared to start Wednesday
Anderson (thumb) will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Anderson was out of the lineup for Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning win due to a left thumb sprain, but he was able to enter the contest as a pinch runner in the bottom of the 10th and ended up scoring the game-tying run. He's now ready to reclaim his usual spot in the infield, after Vidal Brujan drew the start at shortstop Tuesday.

Brewers' Willy Adames: Slugs fourth homer
Adames went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, four RBI and a walk during Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Rays.
Adames hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning to drive in William Contreras and put Milwaukee on the scoreboard, but his fifth-inning three-run shot off Jacob Lopez blew the game open and gave Milwaukee a 6-1 lead. The 28-year-old shortstop boasts a .270/.369/.441 slash line through 130 plate appearances this season, though his performance was trending downward prior to his outburst Tuesday.

Cardinals' Masyn Winn: Sitting for nightcap
Winn isn't in the Cardinals' lineup for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against Detroit, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Resting Tuesday
Cruz isn't in the Pirates' lineup Tuesday against the Athletics, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Blaze Alexander SS | BAL
Diamondbacks' Blaze Alexander: Bats leadoff Monday
Alexander batted leadoff and went 0-for-1 with three walks and two runs scored in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Dodgers.
Alexander served as the leadoff batter for the first time, as manager Torey Lovullo recently tweaked the top of the order. Primary leadoff batter Ketel Marte has been moved to third in the order. Alexander has been adept at getting on base, posting a .406 OBP over 69 plate appearances.

Elly De La Cruz SS | CIN
Reds' Elly De La Cruz: Belts homer in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a 5-2 victory against the Padres.
De La Cruz set the Reds on a positive path with his massive 443-foot solo shot to center field in the first inning. The long ball snapped a four game-stretch during which the dynamic young shortstop didn't knock any extra-base hits and went just 1-for-13 at the plate, though he did maintain valuable production with three thefts during that span. De La Cruz has been one of baseball's most impressive performers early in the campaign, slashing .280/.390/.590 with eight home runs, 19 RBI, 26 runs and a league-leading 18 stolen bases through 118 plate appearances.

Abrams has reached base safely in 15 straight games, and on the season he's slashing .297/.377/.634 with seven homers, six stolen bases, 17 RBI and 21 runs in 25 contests.
