Lindor went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Orioles.

The Mets got shut out, but Lindor still found a way to make a fantasy contribution. The shortstop has been dialed in over the last couple weeks, slashing .346/.424/.596 over the last 14 games with three of his 22 homers and three of his 18 steals on the season as he closes in on his first 20-20 campaign since 2019.

Perdomo entered Sunday's game to play second base after Ketel Marte was removed due to a hamstring injury. Perdomo went 0-for-2 in a 5-3 loss to the Twins.

The road trip was rough for both team and Perdomo. After an extra-inning win over San Francisco to begin the excursion, Arizona lost its final six games. Perdomo went 4-for-27 (.148) with one walk. He's already the club's primary shortstop, so if Marte's injury lingers past Monday's off day, Jace Peterson could fill in at second base when Arizona kicks off a homestand Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Abrams went 4-for-5 with a double, a solo home run, two runs scored and two steals in Sunday's 6-3 victory over the Reds.

Abrams made sure the debuting Lyon Richardson would never forget his first major-league pitch, as Abrams sent it sailing well over the right field wall. While his August had gotten off to a sluggish start, this performance was more in line with Abrams' scorching July in which he hit .327 with three home runs and 16 steals. The 22-year-old shortstop is now up to 11 home runs and 27 thefts on the season, and the future appears to be now for this blossoming fantasy stud.

Winn exited Sunday's game at Triple-A Memphis due to a mild glute strain, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Winn was shaken up in the sixth inning when he hit a base awkwardly, but his injury is considered mild at this point. He should be considered day-to-day for now. Winn has been dominant with the Triple-A club this year, slashing .286/.357/.470 with 17 homers, 92 runs, 59 RBI and 17 steals. However, the Cardinals may wait to call him up until mid-to-late August to preserve his rookie status for next season.

Schmitt was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday.

Schmitt has been up with the big club since early May and has at times served as San Francisco's primary shortstop, but he'll head back to the minors with a .548 OPS in 218 plate appearances. Brandon Crawford has struggled in his own right this year with a .211/.281/.349 slash line, so Schmitt could receive another look in the majors before the end of the campaign.

Wendle is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Wendle is taking a seat for the series finale while the Rangers bring southpaw Andrew Heaney to the hill. Jon Berti will fill in at shortstop for Wendle.

Perdomo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Perdomo will ride the bench in the series finale after he went 9-for-42 (.214 average) while starting in each of the past 10 games. Nick Ahmed will spell Perdomo at shortstop.

Williams is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Williams appears to have settled in as the Pirates' primary shortstop after starting at the position in each of the last five games while going 7-for-15 with two doubles, three walks and two runs. However, the rookie will be getting a breather for Sunday's series finale while Liover Peguero shifts over from the keystone to replace the resting Williams at shortstop.

Swanson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's win over Atlanta.

Swanson recently had a stretch of three straight games with a home run, and while that run ended, he still has five long balls across his last six contests. The impressive power production has the shortstop up to 17 total home runs, putting him within reach of his third straight season with at least 20 homers.

Edman went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double and two RBI in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Rockies.

Edman came up a home run shy of the cycle in this contest. He's gone 6-for-20 (.300) with three strikeouts over five games since returning from a wrist injury, and he's seen a starting role at shortstop with Paul DeJong traded to Toronto. Edman is slashing .241/.302/.395 with seven homers, 31 RBI, 47 runs scored and 14 stolen bases over 89 games. His starting role is likely safe for a while, but St. Louis could call up top prospect Masyn Winn before the end of the season, which would likely force Edman to switch positions yet again.
