Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Braves' Orlando Arcia: Sits in second straight game
Arcia is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.
Phil Gosselin will pick up a second straight start at second base in place of Arcia, whose ongoing slump may have prompted manager Brian Snitker to go in a different direction. Before sitting out Monday's 6-3 win, Arcia had gone 2-for-28 with 10 strikeouts over his last eight contests.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Reinstated, starting Tuesday
Crawford (knee) was activated from the 10-day injured list and is starting at shortstop Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Crawford landed on the shelf June 25 with left knee inflammation, and he'll rejoin the big-league roster after spending the 10-day minimum on the IL. The 35-year-old has a .224/.313/.350 slash line through 63 games this year and should reclaim the starting job at shortstop now that he's healthy.

Ehire Adrianza 3B | LAA
Nationals' Ehire Adrianza: Picks up start in outfield
Adrianza will start in left field and bat eighth in Tuesday's game against the Phillies.
He'll stick in the lineup for the third game in a row, with all of his starts coming at different positions. Adrianza, who went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run in Monday's 3-2 loss, will be replacing Yadiel Hernandez in the outfield Tuesday.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Out again Tuesday
Berti is out of the lineup Tuesday versus the Angels, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
This marks two straight days on the bench for Berti, who has gone just 2-for-23 in his last six games. Joey Wendle will hit leadoff and play second base Tuesday.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Padres' CJ Abrams: Fills in for resting Kim
Abrams will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Tuesday's game against the Mariners, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
The lefty-hitting Abrams returns to the lineup after he sat out each of the past three contests when the Padres opposed a pair of lefties (the Dodgers' Tyler Anderson and Clayton Kershaw) and one righty (the Mariners' Chris Flexen). Though Abrams will be getting the start at shortstop with the righty-hitting Ha-Seong Kim sitting against right-hander Logan Gilbert, Kim's absence from the lineup looks to be more of a maintenance day after he had started in each of the past 17 games. Now that Manny Machado is ready to handle third base on an everyday basis following a recent nine-game absence, Kim looks well positioned to serve as San Diego's primary shortstop against both left- and right-handed pitching. Abrams is slashing an unremarkable .238/.256/.286 during his latest stint with the big club and hasn't made a case for earning a full-time role now that the Padres are closer to full strength in the infield.

Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Mets' Francisco Lindor: Belts 13th homer
Lindor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's 7-4 win over the Reds.
He took Hunter Greene deep in the fifth inning to give the Mets a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Lindor has found a groove at the plate over the last few weeks, slashing .271/.358/.508 in his last 16 games with four of his 13 homers on the season in addition to a steal, eight runs and 12 RBI.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Braves' Dansby Swanson: Laces two doubles
Swanson went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and three RBI in a 6-3 win against St. Louis on Monday.
Swanson did his damage early with a double and run in the first inning followed by a three run double in the second. The 28-year-old has recorded three multi-hit games already in July and is 9-for-18 with four doubles and a home run during the four games.
