Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Cardinals' Aledmys Diaz: Out of lineup Wednesday
Diaz is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Phillies.
Diaz will be replaced at short by Paul DeJong, who is batting eighth in the order for Wednesday's contest. This marks the first day off for Diaz since June 13.

Chris Owings SS | LAD
Diamondbacks' Chris Owings: Retreats to bench Wednesday
Owings is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rockies.
Although Owings is in the midst of a seven-game hit streak, he'll head to the bench for a night off Wednesday. Nick Ahmed will take over at shortstop.
-
Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Climbs up lineup Wednesday
Camargo is batting second and playing second base Wednesday against the Giants.
The young infielder has been scaldingly hot as of late, going 10-for-18 with six runs scored and four RBI in the past seven games, so manager Brian Snitker will reward him with a move up the batting order. Camargo has claimed an everyday role for Atlanta, and although he's giving Brandon Phillips a breather at the keystone Wednesday, the 23-year-old seems to have the third base job on lockdown for the time being.

Allen Cordoba SS | CIN
Padres' Allen Cordoba: Hits bench Wednesday
Cordoba is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Cubs, Bob Scanlan of Fox Sports San Diego reports.
Cordoba has logged most of the starts at shortstop as of late, although he'll get his second night off in three games after collecting just one hit over the past week. Erick Aybar will man shortstop for the evening to replace him.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Out of lineup Wednesday
Baez is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
Ian Happ will take over at second base Wednesday, pushing Baez to the bench for the second time in eight games. On the heels of a .291/.303/.570 month of May, Baez has taken a step back in June, slashing .227/.277/.432. He should continue to see regular time, but Baez is still not quite an everyday player even with Ben Zobrist (wrist) on the DL.

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Phillies' J.P. Crawford: Returns to action Tuesday
Crawford (groin) went 1-for-5 with an RBI Tuesday for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Crawford had been sidelined since June 11 with a groin strain. He's hitting just .194/.310/.251 with two homers and two steals in 211 at-bats this season. Crawford isn't going to make an impact in the majors this year, but it is important to remember he is just 22 years old. He still has time to make the necessary adjustments that will get him back on track offensively.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Unleashes power in three-homer game
Seager hit a double and three homers in five at-bats against the Mets on Tuesday, driving in six runs in the process.
That matches his homer output from the past 32 games put together, as Seager didn't have his power stroke going for a while there. Even so, he's maintained strong numbers thanks to a steady stream of singles and doubles, with Seager's 54 runs in 70 games particularly standing out.
-
Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Fourth straight multi-hit game
Camargo went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, an RBI and a run against the Giants on Tuesday.
He's now posted four consecutive multi-hit games, and Camargo's collected at least one RBI and run in each of those contests. It's a good time to be hot, as Camargo's battling for reps at third base right now. There's only limited evidence of hitting prowess in his minor-league track record, as Camargo never really hit at any level before posting a .311/.353/.500 line for Triple-A Gwinnett, but he's also only 23, so we can't rule out that he's simply developed. Camargo merits watching in deeper formats and speculative snagging in dynasty leagues.

Dee Strange-Gordon SS | WAS
Marlins' Dee Gordon: Keeps running Monday
Gordon went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in Monday's win over the Nationals.
He's now swiped six bases in the last four games, giving Gordon 27 steals on the season and jumping him back ahead of Trea Turner for second in the majors in that category behind Billy Hamilton's 29. Gordon's .315/.333/.384 slash line in June isn't too shabby, either.
-
Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Braves' Dansby Swanson: Drives in two Monday
Swanson went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Monday's win over the Giants.
The 23-year-old has finally turned a corner at the plate and now has a .328/.389/.484 slash line with two homers, 13 RBI and 11 runs through 18 games in June. He's still hitting towards the bottom of the Braves' lineup, but Swanson could get another chance in the two hole if Brandon Phillips is dealt before the trade deadline.
