Story went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 5-4 win over Atlanta.

Story kicked off the scoring for the Rockies after clobbering a solo home run to lead off the second inning. The long ball was his third over his last four games and his 22nd of the year, as he's shown some recent improvements in the power department. Overall, it's been a bit of a down year offensively for Story in comparison to seasons past. The 28-year-old has never finished a season with a BABIP under .330 and currently sits at a .288 BABIP through 128 games in 2021. He's slashing .247/.326/.478 with 59 extra-base hits, 69 RBI, 78 runs scored, 18 steals and a 46:126 BB:K over 531 plate appearances.

Anderson went 1-for-5 in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Angels.

Anderson's second-inning single didn't lead to any runs, but it was an opportunity to confirm that the shortstop is past the hamstring strain that sidelined him for over two weeks. The 28-year-old is scheduled to play every other day for the time being, but he should have plenty of time to ramp up to an everyday spot in the lineup by the start of the postseason.

Bogaerts went 2-for-5 with a triple, two runs and two strikeouts in Tuesday's 8-4 win against Seattle.

Bogaerts reached base in his final two at-bats with a leadoff triple in the eighth to ignite a five-run inning and a ninth-inning single. After spending the first week and a half of September on the COVID IL, Bogaerts is 6-for-16 with a double, a triple and a home run over the last five games.

Turner went 2-for-3 with a double, solo home run, an additional run and RBI, a walk and a stolen base in an 8-4 triumph over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Turner did it all Tuesday, doubling home a run and stealing third base in the first inning, smashing a solo shot in the fifth and walking and scoring in the seventh. His 28 steals tie Turner with Cedric Mullins for third in all of MLB. Meanwhile his 22nd homer extended a new career high. Los Angeles' trade-deadline acquisition has been heating up over the last three games, reaching base in seven of 14 plate appearances with a double, a home run and two steals.

Baez went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, two RBI and three walks in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.

The shortstop-turned-second baseman drove in teammate Francisco Lindor with a bunt single in the first inning off Jake Woodford before launching a game-tying solo homer in the bottom of the ninth off Giovanny Gallegos. It was the 31st home run of the campaign for the 28-year-old. The three walks set a single-game season high for him as he hadn't previously walked more than once in a game in 2021. Baez has now had multi-hit efforts in five of his last six contests, raising his batting average from .251 to .264 in the process.

Manager Tony La Russa said that Anderson (hamstring), who is starting at shortstop Tuesday against the Angels, will be playing every other day for a while, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Anderson was activated from the injured list earlier Tuesday and is set to return to the top of Chicago's order for the series opener against the Halos. La Russa wasn't specific regarding how long he plans to alternate starts and days off for Anderson, but the club will almost certainly want to have him playing close to everyday by the final week of the season. Anderson resumes his campaign hitting .302/.331/.458 with 14 homers, 26 doubles, 53 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 82 runs scored.

Mateo will miss the remainder of the season after being placed on the 60-day injured list Tuesday with right lumbar inflammation.

Mateo missed last Friday's game with unspecified soreness, and it's possible the lumbar injury is related to that previous issue. Mateo showed promise in his 32 games with Baltimore to finish his 2021 campaign, going 30-for-107 with seven doubles, one triple, two homers and five stolen bases. His defensive versatility should help him find a substantial role with the Orioles to begin next season.

Mateo will hit the bench Tuesday against the Yankees, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Mateo has received plenty of playing time since he joined the Orioles in early August. He's hit well enough, posting a .280/.328/.421 line with two homers and five steals over 32 games. Ramon Urias and Pat Valaika will be the middle infielders Tuesday.

Crawford went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs in a win over the Red Sox on Monday.

The hot-hitting shortstop made life miserable for the Red Sox out of the leadoff spot, hitting safely for the fifth time in the last six games in the process. Crawford's tear at the plate actually dates back a good bit further, as the 26-year-old now boasts a .309/.382/.456 slash line with four doubles, two home runs and seven RBI over his last 16 contests.

Rojas is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Rojas has gone just 4-for-30 at the plate over his last seven games. He'll get a rest Tuesday, with Jazz Chisholm sliding to shortstop and Eddy Alvarez starting at second base.
