Crawford went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 1-0 win over Washington.

The shortstop got aboard with a single in the fourth inning and moved to second on Donovan Solano's single. Crawford then stole third, but he was left on base when Mike Tauchman struck out. The 34-year-old Crawford has put together one of his best seasons with a .261/.351/.551 slash line, 14 home runs, 41 RBI, 35 runs scored and four stolen bases across 202 plate appearances.

Mateo went 0-for-1 with a stolen base as a pinch hitter in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Mets.

Mateo reached on a fielder's choice and stole second in the eighth inning. The 25-year-old hasn't seen much more than utility usage yet. He's slashing .205/.247/.288 with a home run, five RBI, seven runs scored and three stolen bases across 78 plate appearances.

Seager (hand) is about two weeks away from beginning a rehab assignment, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Per Juan Toribio of MLB.com, Seager has begun hitting tennis balls while swinging with both hands and could transition to hitting baseballs within the next few days. The shortstop's rehab assignment is expected to take about a week once it begins, so he remains on track to rejoin the Los Angeles lineup in early July.

Bogaerts was scratched from Friday's lineup because of a sore left knee, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports

It wasn't initially known why Bogaerts was scratched from the starting nine Friday. It isn't clear if the shortstop could be available off the bench during the series opener. For the time being, he can be considered day-to-day.

Bogaerts has been scratched from Friday's lineup against the Blue Jays, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

The reason for Bogaerts's removal from Friday's lineup has not yet been disclosed. Marwin Gonzalez will fill in at shortstop and bat eighth.

Owings (thumb) is expected to begin a rehab assignment Sunday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Owings sprained his thumb in early April badly enough to require surgery and a trip to the 60-day injured list. Given the length of his absence, his rehab assignment probably won't be a short one, but it won't be too long before he's back on the big-league roster.

Wendle is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Orioles, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Wendle is out of the starting lineup for the second consecutive game with the Rays set to face another southpaw in Keegan Akin. The infielder homered off the bench Wednesday and could certainly play a role as a pinch hitter again Friday. Mike Brosseau will start at third base and bat fifth.

Baez (thumb) will start at shortstop and bat third Friday versus the Cardinals.

The 28-year-old sat out the three-game series against the Padres this week due to a bruised right thumb, but he will rejoin the lineup following Thursday's scheduled off day. Baez is 1-for-16 with six strikeouts over his past four games, so hopefully he'll rebound after receiving a few days off to recover from the injury.

Story (elbow) went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Thursday's 11-4 loss to Miami.

Story missed just under two weeks with an elbow injury, but he was able to play the whole game Thursday. The shortstop has had a bit of a down year with a .257/.325/.422 slash line, five home runs, 23 RBI, 27 runs scored and eight stolen bases through 209 plate appearances. He should resume an everyday role as he looks to get back up to his established level of performance at the dish.

Rojas (finger) took part in the Marlins' batting practice session prior to Thursday's game against the Rockies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

After hitting off a tee two days earlier, Rojas took the next step forward in his recovery from a fractured left finger by taking full swings against soft-toss pitching. The fact that the injury is to Rojas' non-throwing hand will likely put him in store for a shorter rehab program, but the Marlins may still want to see him play in a rehab game or two at Triple-A Jacksonville before reinstating him from the 10-day injured list. Jazz Chisholm will continue to fill in at shortstop while Rojas is on the mend.
