Edman isn't starting Monday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Edman had started in each of the last 10 games, but he went 0-for-12 with two strikeouts across his last three appearances. Edmundo Sosa will start at second base and bat eighth.

Fletcher went 2-for-5 and scored a run while batting leadoff in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rays.

Prior to Sunday, Fletcher had slotted into the nine spot in the lineup in each game he played since May 15. Manager Joe Maddon decided to move him back up to the leadoff spot in the wake of Justin Upton's (back) recent move to the injured list and Fletcher's recent hot stretch. With his two hits Sunday, the versatile Fletcher extended his current hit streak to 12 games, during which he is batting .488 (21-for-43) with five doubles, nine runs and seven RBI. The torrid stretch has pushed his average up to .291 on the season, and Fletcher could stick in the leadoff spot as long as he continues hitting.

Franco went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run in a loss to the Angels on Sunday.

The dynamic rookie snapped out of the 0-for-15 slump that had encompassed his last four games with Sunday's effort. Franco has unsurprisingly encountered some struggles since a spectacular 2-for-4 debut Tuesday that featured a three-run home run, but outside of a three-strikeout day Thursday against the Red Sox, he's encouragingly punched out on only two other occasions over his first six games.

Correa went 0-for-2 with a walk and an RBI in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Tigers.

Correa's fourth-inning sacrifice fly produced Houston's lone score and gave the Astros a 1-0 lead, but the powerful lineup managed just three hits off Detroit pitching. He has at least one RBI in eight consecutive games and delivered a run in 12 of the last 13. He's tied for second on the club at 49 RBI behind Yuli Gurriel's 51.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in a 7-5 win over the Mariners in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader.

Anderson's been fighting it at the plate recently, going 7-for-37 (.189) with one extra-base hit over the last nine games, but he singled in his first two trips to the plate and swiped his 14th bag of the season. This is the fifth time in six seasons the shortstop has reached double-digit steals, with 26 thefts in 2018 being his career benchmark.

Baez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 7-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Baez slammed a solo home run off Clayton Kershaw in the fourth inning for the Cubs' lone run. It was his second long ball of the series, and he recorded a hit in every game against the Dodgers. The 28-year-old is slashing .228/.267/.472 in 270 plate appearances. He leads the Cubs in home runs (18) and steals (nine); however, he ranks dead last in baseball with a 38.0 percent strikeout rate and has a National League-worst 3.3 percent walk rate.

Turner went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Marlins.

Turner went hitless in his first two at-bats Sunday, but he blasted a go-ahead home run to right field in the sixth inning. The 27-year-old has now crossed the plate in each of his last nine games, and he's hit .353 with two home runs, two doubles, 10 runs, four RBI and three stolen bases during that time.

Manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Seager no longer has a timetable for a return after lingering soreness has emerged in his right hand, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Seager was hoping to begin a minor-league rehab assignment over the weekend, but Roberts said he won't do so until the hand soreness subsides. The shortstop was targeting an early July return from the hand fracture, but now there's no clear time frame for when Seager could be activated. Gavin Lux will continue to serve as the club's primary shortstop during Seager's absence.

Crawford is out of the lineup Sunday against Oakland, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

Crawford will receive the day off against lefty Cole Irvin after starting the past seven games. Mauricio Dubon will work at shortstop Sunday for the Giants.

Bogaerts went 3-for-3 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Yankees.

Bogaerts singled in the second inning and doubled in the third, scoring in both of those frames. In addition, he hit a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning, knocking in Michael Chavis. The shortstop has reached base safely in his last 21 games. During that stretch, he is batting .359 and has an OPS of 1.001 with three home runs, 15 RBI and 16 runs scored. On the season, he is slashing .327/.389/.554, which leads the Red Sox.
