Bichette (knee) ran sprints and was able to field ground balls and hit in the cage during his on-field workout Sunday prior to the Blue Jays' game against the Orioles, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

The Blue Jays remain reluctant to put a timeline on Bichette's return from the injured list, but with another day of baseball activities under his belt, the young shortstop looks well on his way to being activated at some point in September. Before Toronto pinpoints a target date for his return, Bichette may need to show that he can comfortably run the bases and change direction while fielding. Toronto has leaned on a platoon of Joe Panik and Santiago Espinal at shortstop since Bichette suffered the knee injury Aug. 15.

Arcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run Saturday in the Brewers' 7-6 win over the Pirates.

Arcia took Pirates reliever Chris Stratton deep in the seventh inning for his second home run of the season and his first since Aug. 16. Though Luis Urias' return from the COVID-19 injured list earlier this month looked like it might have threatened Arcia's standing as the everyday shortstop, manager Craig Counsell has been able to find room for both players in the regular lineup. Urias has instead seen most of his action at second base and third base.

Berti will start in center field and lead off in Sunday's game against the Rays, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Berti will set the table for Miami for the fifth game in a row and the sixth time in seven games. The 30-year-old looks poised to serve as Miami's primary center fielder while Magneuris Sierra (hamstring) is out, making Berti worthy of a look for those needing help in the stolen-base category. Berti has gone 8-for-9 on steal attempts so far this season.

Crawford went 2-for-3 with a double in Saturday's loss against the Angels.

The Mariners mustered only seven hits in 31 at-bats against Angels pitching, and Crawford was the only player who notched more than one knock. The slick-fielding shortstop is hitting .256 this season, but he has posted a .347 on-base percentage and is in the midst of a five-game hitting streak.

Story went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Saturday's win over the Padres.

Story continues to be one of the most consistent bats in the Rockies lineup and extended his hitting streak to nine games. He has posted three multi-hit games in that stretch and is hitting .343 with a 1.068 OPS and two homers in that nine-game span.

Diaz started at third base and went 0-for-3 in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Athletics.

Diaz was activated off the injured list prior to the doubleheader but did not appear in the afternoon game. With Alex Bregman (hamstring) facing at least another two weeks of downtime, Diaz should get plenty of at-bats as a fill-in at the hot corner. If Diaz's bat is slow to come around, then manager Dusty Baker could use Jack Mayfield, Abraham Toro or Yuli Gurriel.

Anderson went 4-for-5 with two doubles, one run and one RBI during Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Royals.

The 27-year-old was 3-for-16 with five strikeouts over his past four games, but he busted out with his third four-hit game of the season Saturday. Anderson has a .361/.398/.649 slash line with six homers, eight doubles, 26 runs, 11 RBI and three stolen bases through 23 games.

Turner went 5-for-5 with a run scored and a pair of doubles in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Turner was able to score on an error in the third inning after smacking his second double of the game. His other three hits were singles, and he accounted for nearly half of the Nationals' 11 hits in total. During the shortstop's 14-game hitting streak, Turner is 27-for-57 (.474) with three homers, 11 RBI, 17 runs scored and three stolen bases. For the season, he's slashing .350/.410/.617 with six homers, three steals, 17 RBI and 24 runs scored in 30 contests.

Bogaerts went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer, a double and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Nationals.

Bogaerts opened the scoring with his blast off Nationals starter Anibal Sanchez in the first inning. In the sixth, Bogaerts hit a double and later stole third with two outs. The shortstop's well-rounded effort gives him seven homers, 20 RBI, 18 runs scored and three stolen bases in 32 games this season. He's slashing .295/.355/.545 across 124 plate appearances.

Wendle went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored Saturday against the Marlins.

Wendle came to bat with the bases loaded in the eighth inning and delivered with a two-run double to put the Rays up 4-0. He played a big part in the victory, as he also scored a run to put the team up 2-0 in the seventh frame. With the performance, Wendle extended his hitting streak to eight games and is now hitting .301/.356/.458 across 90 plate appearances this season.
